Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Whatever the overall score says, the last stretch of reviews is the weaker one. Opinion on front-of-house is split — those reviews land at 3.7 on average. Freshness and temperature is the next most common subject, in 39% of reviews (averaging 4.1).
Speed of service shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 5.0. 13 of 18 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 5 are two or lower. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (13 of 18).
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (91/100) with 1 intermediate and 6 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was January 15, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. That puts it ahead of 55% of graded kitchens in Volusia County. For specifics, the last inspection cited food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Drive through order. Cold, old, and half full. Called 3 times after, no answer and two of the times, someone did answer but said nothing and hung up. Drove back up there to request remake and/or refund. Xavier (the "Manager") was super rude from the get go. Said he packed the order himself and it was NOT half full sides. Among other contradictions. (I have call logs and videos of all of this, btw) This location is one of like 119 in bankruptcy, so there's really no one to complain to, until around 7/1/26. They don't give a crap. Keep that in mind when you're expecting quality. $44 for 3 people should not result in this kind of "service".

Wings were disgusting, they were cold hard and loaded with seasoning that was salty Red beans n rice was cold watery. Service was excellent, employees and management was friendly and very polite

Food was hot and ready and actually spicy

I went to the drive-thru for my birthday apple pie. It was served steamy hot and just so stinking delicious. And a bonus which I wasn't expecting there was a small container with strawberry birthday cake which was awesome my grandson gobbled that up but he did give me a bite. Haha. The guy at the window was super nice.

Popeyes needs to upgrade what you can order on DoorDash. Every state is completely different. Consistency is best. I was gonna order food on DoorDash. But you’re limited on the things you can order. Like for instance sauces. Why would sauces be limited? I tried to order the bold barbecue dipping sauce. And you can’t order it on DoorDash. Why you can order all the sauces that nobody likes. But the ones that people like the most you can’t order. That’s backwards. If I can’t order what I want from a store. Then I don’t order from that store. And the store loses A sale. An update is in an order for Popeyes menu on DoorDash.

Found the One Piece here! Their Fearless Straw Hat Leader Manager Kwame was the one who took, prepared, and brought our One Piece Meals and the food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back here again!

Really liked this spot. The place was super clean and the food was great—everything tasted fresh and cooked just right. Definitely one of the better chicken spots I’ve been to. I’ll be back for sure!

I love this location! The employees are friendly and even though they seemed to be short staffed, the food came out quickly and was delicious. No complaints.
