Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
There is no middle ground in these 22 reviews. Front-of-house tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.4 stars. Portion size is the next most common subject, in 23% of reviews (averaging 5.0).
The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (20 of 22). Of the 22 rated reviews, 20 sit at four stars or better and 2 at two or below. Value for money shows up in 18% of reviews as well, averaging 5.0.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (97/100), 3 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. The visit behind that grade was March 23, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. That puts it ahead of 79% of graded kitchens in Volusia County. For specifics, the last inspection cited clean clothes and floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

This is the classic American Diner with prices to match! It's Cash only but there is an ATM across the street. Plus there's a thrift store next door. The grilled muffin is my absolute favorite!!!
-
I always enjoy dining here. I generally choose from the daily specials and have never been disappointed.

Fun, football themed (Buffalo Bills) restaurant. Food was extremely filling.

I went in today 3-23-26 I did look at some reviews before I went in and saw they have a great overall rating. Everything i read that was "not good" was so wrong. I was sat as soon as I walked in. I had a menu and table setting within seconds. Server came over in minutes and I requested a little more time, a few minutes later another server asked if I needed anything. The attention was unbelievable, service was great. The food was a good portion and very inexpensive. I will be going back to try the beef on weck, being from Buffalo I may be a hard critic. GREAT PLACE. "Be good, do good. God bless, and Go Bills"

This was a local "happenin'" place on a Saturday morning. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Excellent breakfast (an omelette with spinach, tomato and Swiss cheese). Yes, it's in the corner of a strip center with plenty of parking. It got really busy by 9:00 am on a Saturday, so go early. Well worth going "where the locals go". 😊

-
I went in there today to pick up breakfast that I had pre ordered, and was totally ignored for 20 mins! Then when they finally came to me, 2 others walked in before I could say pick up and was served n sested before me! N when I said something about it, I was told to get out! The waitress has a nasty mouth, n I will never go back there again!
