What diners say — our read

Diners writing about this place keep returning to how guests are treated. Reviewers who mention how guests are treated rate this place 4.8 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.

5 stars is the modal score, given by 20 of the 23 reviewers who rated. Conspicuously absent: freshness and temperature, which no reviewer brings up. The split is 20 positive to 1 negative across 23 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (98/100), with 2 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That inspection was on April 21, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against St. Lucie County, it is safer than 79% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were cross-contamination and insects/rodents/pests.

Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

The best food at reasonable prices. Always a great experience coming here for dinner. And you absolutely can not beat this place for Taco Tuesday.

Food is good, and we like it there. I would recommend they look into a new online ordering system though, and if they are going to "shut off" take out, learn how to do it properly so people don't show up at the arrival time provided with no food being prepared. . Shame on us for trying to order on Cinco, they are clearly overwhelmed.

The food and the service was amazing.

This place is ok, but I don't plan on eating here again. I'll get to the food and service in a moment. What really made me not want to come back is that they charge $2.50 for a refill on tea that on its own costs $4.45. They also charge a fee to use a credit card to pay. $4.45 is already a lot for tea, most places are $2.50 or $3.00, then on top of charging a lot for tea, then $2.50 for a refill is unacceptable to me. I feel that's just petty. The food is fine, not great, but also not bad; the service is also fine, not great, but not bad. The food is cooked well and the ingredients are fine, but it lacks any kind of seasoning. I think the server tries, but it seems odd how the server's tables are all spread out, so they're running around all over the restaurant, working hard, but the efficiency just isn't there. I want to be clear I'm not complaining about the server here, it seems like a logistics issue. Anyway, back to the original statement, I'm not going to patronize a place that is going to overcharge for a drink, then charge a refill fee on top of that as well, and also charge more if you use a credit card.

Went here with the family and it was really good. We liked what was served and they were very nice to us. We had a disabled son, and they accomodated us perfectly. Five stars!

Stopped in with our family of 6 without reservations and they quickly got a table together, were patient with our children, and provided excellent service and delicious food. Will be back frequently!

We were frequent patrons until recently. They raised their prices, which I understand, but the food portions seem a bit smaller now too. My pineapple fajitas that I love seem to have less chicken, and their margaritas are served in smaller glasses now too. They also redecorated and it is so bland and boring in there. It used to be so charming with the murals on the wall and festive colors. It reminds me of a drab hotel lobby now. What a shame! So for all those reasons, we’ve moved on.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was outstanding, full of unique and unforgettable flavors. Every dish felt thoughtfully created and beautifully executed. Chef Miguel Torres is truly exceptional—one of the best. The service was just as incredible as the food: kind, attentive, fun, fast and welcoming. The servers made the experience even better with their great energy and genuine care. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Highly recommend—this place is a must-visit!
