Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The newer reviews here read better than the older ones — 4.0 against 2.8. Reviews mentioning cleanliness average 3.5 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. Front-of-house follows at 44% of reviews, where ratings average 3.8.
Behind those, what it costs is raised in 17% of reviews (3.0 average). If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (8 reviews). The split is 9 positive to 3 negative across 15 rated reviews, with 3 in the middle.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (91/100) with 1 high-priority and 1 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on February 24, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 44% of the St. Lucie County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and storage & handling of clean equipment and utensils.
Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

As a Hilton Diamond member, I am disappointed to say that this is one of the least desirable Hilton properties I have encountered. The hotel is in need of a significant renovation and overall property improvement. Due to the condition and experience at this location, I now choose to stay at the Marriott Courtyard next door, even though it means giving up the benefits and points I would normally earn with Hilton. I hope Hilton Corporate will take notice and invest in a much-needed overhaul of this property.

We chose Homewood Suites Tradition since it was close to Cleveland Clinic where our Grandson will be born later this year knowing we will be returning in the future. We reserved 2 rooms, both of which felt humid and damp on my bare feet even with the AC turned down to 72. Bed was uncomfortable, I recommend a really thick mattress pad cover. Room was clean, hair and body wash supplies had a good scent. My Mother in law (age 88) staying in the connected room did not feel well and left 2 days early, we decided to leave 1 day early due to not sleeping well in the bed and getting back to help my MIL but due to having a non-refundable room, the supervisor Aaron stated we were only able to receive 5,000 Hilton points. We will not be staying at Homewood Suites Tradition in the future.

I recently completed a two-week stay at this Homewood Suites, and the experience was outstanding from beginning to end. The level of professionalism, consistency, and hospitality displayed by the staff made this one of the best extended hotel stays I have had in years. Everyone at the front desk was friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay, but Aaron deserves special recognition. He was consistently knowledgeable, confident, attentive, and genuinely welcoming every single day. His attention to detail and ability to make guests feel valued immediately stood out. Employees like Aaron are rare, and he is a tremendous asset to this property. Because of the service I received during this stay, this will now be my preferred hotel whenever I am in town. The breakfast service was equally impressive, and the lady managing breakfast every morning did an exceptional job. No matter how busy things became, she kept the breakfast area spotless, organized, and fully stocked. Even near closing time, the food remained fresh and well maintained. Her consistency, hard work, and positive attitude did not go unnoticed during my entire stay. You can also tell the property is managed exceptionally well. The manager was visible throughout the hotel, actively engaged, attentive to operations, and always smiling and welcoming to guests. That kind of leadership creates a positive atmosphere that is noticeable the moment you walk through the doors. From the cleanliness and service to…

Do NOT listen to those low reviews!! Tony Ann and Joseph were SAINTS during my trip. My room was nice, I was grateful to keep it as cold as I could in this Florida heat. No smell. the minor inconvenience of icemakers being on floor 1 and 5 was absolutely worth everything else.

Excellent rooms. Clean and modern. The hospitality is incredible. I look forward to returning ☺️

Ask for Tony Ann! I was in town on business and booked ahead. I was not disappointed. The location is optimal. The grounds are nice, secure and clean. The room was more than expected, and had true blackout blinds for good sleep. The suite was spacious...more than I would have requested. The breakfast buffet is impressive and unlike most hotels I visit, they are available UNTIL CHECKOUT! However, the customer service was the driver. Tony Ann was so good, I was looking for her business card, but it was only managers. She was approachable, informative, funny, quick and encouraging. I checked back with her on departure and received the same great service. She got a repeat customer. I don't usually leave reviews.

The people at the front desk are always nice. We stayed at this place last year and again this year with the same issues. They only clean the rooms every three days. The rooms in general need to have a more thorough cleaning after guests leave. This time the previous guests toiletries were left in the shower and the shower gel container had shampoo in it instead of shower gel. I had to call the Front desk to report both issues and a gentleman came up and replaced the shower gel. It’s a great location right next to Pop Stroke. And I guess for the price you can deal with some oversight. The picture of the window is from our room, the outside could use a washing.

Great! Clean, spacious room. Yummy breakfast with vast options.

Clean, comfortable, everyone is so nice..

Great location. Close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very good. The rooms were good with a full size refrigerator, cook top and microwave. The only downside was the mattress. It was very lopsided and the springs poked a lot. I told the front desk, but no one came.

Staff is super nice! Location is very continent. But MAN do they need an UPGRADE! the rooms are filthy, outdated, and dingy. I felt uncomfortable even using the towels or placing my bare feet on the shower floors. Do yourself a favor and spend the amount you’d pay to stay here on a nicer more updated hotel.

This was our first time in this location arriving yesterday March 14th and leaving this am and we were warmly greeted by Joseph. He made us feel more like family than guests. He explained the breakfast schedule and answered our other questions without hesitation. Our room was clean and inviting and will return in our future visits. Joseph is an asset. On our checkout we were greeted with warmth and appreciation for our stay with Aaron. He too was so very helpful. This location has first class personnel .

Just spent one night so can’t comment much on staff but this property shows considerable wear and tear. Really needs a remodel with carpet, paint fixtures etc.
-
Dirty, run down hotel with new problems being discovered everytime I leave my room. Not a single thing about my stay here made me think the price was remotely worth it. I could write an essay of the number of problems we encountered. Don't stay here.

This is a 3.5-4 star ranking. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years and at this point, it’s in real need of renovation. It felt run down and not adequately funded for maintenance or guest experience. I typically stay for over a week so I get to know the property well. The staff is exceptional. If they were given more tools to work with, they could deliver a fantastic hotel stay. The breakfast is probably one of the best free breakfasts offered by hotel; better than many paid breakfasts. The gym and pool area are also excellent, though it would be nice if they could fix the water cooler to provide cool water. The parking lot is clean from litter and I always found a spot near my entrance. But the employees can’t fix terrible water pressure, thin and scratchy toilet paper that separates each play when you go to tear it, threadbare carpets, a lack of dish soap, mismatching silverware, windows that let in all the sounds and are filthy on the outside, chipped furniture, scratchy towels, etc. Bottom line, the hotel needs renovation, a better room layout, better towels, and more.
