Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An average is a poor summary when the underlying reviews look like this. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.4 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, how long an order takes appears most often — 24% of the corpus, averaging 3.7.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 20 of 25. Behind those, serving size is raised in 16% of reviews (4.0 average). The split is 20 positive to 3 negative across 25 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (98/100), with 2 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from January 20, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. Ranked against Brevard County, it is safer than 76% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

The food was excellent as well as the service. My family and I always went to the port St. John location but this location was just as good. Great price for a good portion.
-
Food is great, staff is friendly, service is quick and the place is clean. Not sure what else anyone could be looking for in a diner.
-
I was very disappointed that they were not able to do something as simple as 1 pancake and 1 French toast. I even pointed out that they were the same price. And at this time I the morning they only had 4 tables. I guess I will have to find a place that will accommodate the costumer.

Another happy Sunday morning at breakfast. We’ve been to a number of Country Cookin’s, in Brevard. Rockledge Country Cookin has always felt like home! The staff is always welcoming. Every staff member has taken time to get to know their many regular customers. They remember our family, they remember if we’re traveling, they ask us all the time how things are going. The camaraderie in the whole Restaurant makes it feel like you’re at a family gathering! Kalyn, Alyssa, Jess, Shannon, and Bella greet everyone like they known them for years. We have been coming to this Diner for eight years now, Looking forward to the next eight!! We won’t be going to any other Country Cookin’, but Rockledge, we learned our lesson. 🥰

Best omelet I’ve had locally for a while: light, full of delicious ingredients and came out quickly. Yummy. Our waitress, Shannon, was attentive and super friendly. I highly recommend this local restaurant and will definitely return again.

Real hearty diner food.

Immediately greeted, sat, and given coffee. Ordered the Country Scrambler, with "ham," minus green peppers. Massive portion, underwhelming quality. The "ham" was some ultra-processed pink flavorless gummy bits. The "sausage" gravy was just a slimy slur with little flavor and zero sausage. Now the home fries might also be just a Sysco product, but they were good. Not sure about the eggs. Seemed to be just liquid from a carton made solid. Coffee was hot and fresh. Service was "Hello" ... (took my order - accurately) ... "More coffee?" ... "How's everything?" (in passing, as she walked by) ... "Here's your check." I had to ask another sever for a to go cup for my coffee. Oh, and there was no real butter here. Just some weird vegetable oil whipped with butter spread. Very nice interior. Cozy. Lots of nice people. But Brevard has many more options with real food for breakfast. Perhaps I'll return for the coffee.

Welcoming, kind, fast, clean and the kids are happy with biscuits out first and legos to play with. My go-to for breakfast diner in Rockledge.

The food is always delicious!! Try their Chicken Bowl... amazing!
-
Great coffee, delicious food, good people. Just bring your own Cholula hot sauce and join me in trying to convince them to stock it!

While it was busy today, our waitress dropped off our order and literally never came back to see if we had needs or anything. Had to flag down someone else to get us a box as our waitress kept walking past us repeatedly rather than acknowledging and engaging. We have historically gotten great service here with the occasional wait staff being less than customer service oriented. Part of your job in food industry is to make sure the customer is doing well and has no needs. Takes 30 seconds to interact.

We recently ate there a couple of times (brunch) when staying nearby at the WoodBridge Suites as they don't have breakfast there. We enjoyed both of our meals and the service was great. Prices are reasonable. We spotted at least one table of "regulars" a second day in a row.

Sorry I have to report this way on this one folks. But everything was barely warm. Maybe lukewarm at best. First, I tried the potatoes and they were not even warm. Asked for another round of those, and while waiting for them I tried the eggs. They were just lukewarm and the turkey patties. They did bring me some piping hot potatoes after complaining. The portions were generous. The service was fine. The place was very clean, but for what I was expecting of a typical diner it was not on par 😔

Folks, when you order 2 scrambled eggs here you really get 3 or 4! Not even kidding! Their Applewood bacon is incredibly tasty! Their biscuits and gravy are superb! I'm in love with the young blonde with the short hair with curls!
