What diners say — our read

If these 16 reviews agree on a topic, it is front-of-house. The staff tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.5 stars.

What nobody raises here is tidiness — it goes unmentioned across all 16 reviews. The split is 15 positive to 0 negative across 16 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 10 of 16.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (92/100), with 1 intermediate and 5 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from February 9, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. On health score it sits safer than 53% of the Seminole County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Overly salty food. Server knew it was my birthday ... asked if we wanted birthday dessert. I thought free as they gave us free cake on my husband's last birthday. But no .. she charged us. My husband wouldn't let me complain there and we still tipped well ... just disappointed

My family and I had a nice experience at this Longhorn location. Our server was great and the food was spot on. The one thing that stuck out to me was the overall condition of the facility. Wall paper was torn, crayon on the wall, and the burglar alarm keypad was disgusting. All in all, the facility itself is a little rough around the edges. I’ll likely return but it’s definitely time for Longhorn to give the building some TLC.

Had a great experience at LongHorn in Sanford. Everything came out fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Huge shoutout to Shelly, our server—she was amazing from start to finish. Super attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. She really made the visit stand out.

My wife and I come here a lot and the service is great. Tonight we ended up receiving our ribeyes very overdone and they were hard to eat. We told the server Melissa (she is very nice and personable) and she was quick to notify the kitchen and took our old ones. The manager was very nice and apologized (did not catch his name) when he brought us our new ones that were cooked perfectly and delicious. Thanks for handling it professionally!
