Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An average alone would undersell where this place is now. Opinion on front-of-house is split — those reviews land at 3.3 on average. Price is the next most common subject, in 28% of reviews (averaging 3.4).
Of the 18 rated reviews, 12 sit at four stars or better and 5 at two or below. How food arrives shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 3.3. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (8 of 18).
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a B (86/100) with 1 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 3 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. The visit behind that grade was January 27, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. That puts it ahead of 30% of graded kitchens in Indian River County. For specifics, the last inspection cited cross-contamination.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

This last bastion of Southern American breakfasts does not disappoint! I ordered corned beef hash, topped with two eggs over easy, grits, and English muffin. Muffins were buttered, grits were well seasoned, the eggs were perfect, and the hash was exactly what I wanted. And their coffee isn't some fancy roast, it's perfect traditional American coffee. After a week of eating exotic seafood and Latin food, this hit the spot on our last day of vacation.

My first time was Father's Day breakfast. It was excellent. The atmosphere was hometown breakfast restaurant. The coffee was excellent. I had french toast and bacon. Great! My daughter had half order of eggs benedict with home fries. So good! Great service. Good prices. I tipped extra. I was very happy. Grandson had pancakes and girlfriend had Belgian waffle. Everything was amazing. Inside and outside seating.

Been here twice, once for breakfast and the second time for lunch. Second time we arrived around 1:45, and even-though they close at 2:20, the staff was still incredibly welcome and kind! The food is good. Got the same server both times and she was very nice and attentive.

I just left and it was the worst experience I’ve had to deal with in a long time. I sat outside with my handicapped brother and waited for like 20 minutes and no server had the decency to take out order?? I even talked to the cashier and waitress inside who confirmed that the server outside another woman was with us and got up and left. Not sure what the issue was but I will not be coming back ever!!!

Decent food, nothing special it’s just breakfast. Eggs over easy were perfect. Bacon very crispy. Home Fries plain fried cubes. Country Fried Steak basic run of the mill. Service was on point. Thank you.

Good Steak & Eggs

For the price, I expected a good breakfast. The eggs had a funny taste to them. The hash browns were so thin and hard, it seemed like they had been microwaved too much.

I have been promising myself a trip to this Restaurant! I was not disappointed! Of course I am truly a lover of Mom and Pop restaurants because they offer so much charm, warmest and overly friendly staff! The prices were pretty good as well. The service was exceptional, 3 not 1 but 3 servers came immediately to take our drink order! ♥️. Our server was sweet and it was indeed a pleasure to be greeted with a smile instead of an attitude! Let's not forget the most important thing HOT WHOLESOME, YUMMY AND MOUTHWATERING FOOD! I Loved it all, Fluffy pancakes, eggs over medium, homefries and bacon! 😋 Let's just say I will drive the 40 minutes to visit again soon!

I'm so happy to have a place like this in Sebastian. 😁 Nice diner with outside seating available. Great service and great prices. The food was ok, last time were went the food was great. Just went again and the food is consistent for sure. It's good for the price. Service is still wonderful and friendly.

Stopped in the local breakfast hangout for a good meal after work. Ordered the chicken fried steak, home fries, eggs and toast. I ate the eggs and half the toast. That's it. Only 5 pieces of potato were fried, the rest seemed like cubes of pale baked potato. The "steak" was more like a breaded hamburger, and tasted like it was past it's sell-by date. I left everything else on the plate. The waitress never asked if there was anything wrong, and I could plainly see she saw what was left on my plate. Even when I went to pay no one asked how everything was, as is customary in the food service industry. This place is 3 miles from my house, but I'll drive the 25 miles to the closest Crakcer Barrel from now on.

My wife and I had breakfast there and I had multiple pieces of egg shell in my fried eggs. Both my wife and I also ordered hash browns and they were half cooked. The manager asked how everything was and I told her. Her response was that the cooks try to get all of the egg shell out of the eggs and if we had wanted hash browns that were cooked all the way, we would have had to tell the waitress. Sounds ridiculous to me!

Worst breakfast I have ever had. Ever. Hash browns had a nice crisp on top but raw under that. A large potion of raw shredded potatoes. Egg whites were uncooked, liquid and runny. Toast was ok. Service was good.
