Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
56% of reviews here touch on service, more than any other theme. Where service comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.8, so it reads as a strength. Whether food comes out hot is the next most common subject, in 25% of reviews (averaging 5.0).
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (13 reviews). One subject never comes up here: plate size. Older reviews score better than newer ones (4.6 recent against 5.0 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (94/100) with 6 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on February 11, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. That puts it ahead of 57% of graded kitchens in Osceola County. The citations behind that grade include cross-contamination and in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

I travel to hours to come here and visit my friend and always stop at the tavern to get my favorite crab and jalapeno bites. Very disappointed that they changed their menu. Boneless chicken isn't the same as well.
