Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
No clear consensus emerges from these 22 reviews. Reviewers who mention front-of-house rate this place 4.1 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, freshness and temperature appears most often — 23% of the corpus, averaging 2.6.
Of the 22 rated reviews, 16 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (13 of 22). A third strand, value for money, appears in 18% of them at 4.8 stars.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (93/100), 1 intermediate and 4 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. The visit behind that grade was March 4, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 50% of the Osceola County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited cross-contamination and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

$41 More BBQ-flavored than actual barbecue. I ordered the Family of Two meal for my husband’s birthday and expected better quality and portions, given the name of the restaurant and all. Instead, everything was bland and mediocre. The corn tasted overboiled and watery, the portions were small (2-3 tiny dry ribs per person, thin meat slices, a chicken thigh and leg), and the sides were disappointing—a toddler handful of dry, unseasoned crinkle fries that tasted microwaved, small flavorless baked potatoes, and what I presumed to be garlic bread minus the garlic. Nothing tasted fresh. The only sides that were enjoyable were the coleslaw and beans, so 2 stars for getting the basics right. You have a choice of 3 BBQ sauces-and tiny they are-and you each DO NOT get 3 in your meal of 2. You also are given not butter exactly, but tiny packets of butter-flavored "whipped spread." This was easily the most disappointing barbecue I’ve had and barely qualifies as barbecue. Update: after eating I got severe stomach cramps but thought it may be something else that day. The next night I decided to finish off the left overs because I hate wasting food and got the cramps again. It wouldn't suprise me at all if the food has been sitting out for hours before I picked up considering it was confirmed ready for pickup up within 15 minutes of ordering.

Great place for the whole family to meet and eat. Awesome menu. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, love their barbecue.

Great small business

Overall not impressed. The rack had decent flavor, not much meat and dryer than I like. The wings were about the same too dry. Pulled pork very ground up vs truly pulled - sauce comes already added so didn’t like. Corn bread great. Decent coleslaw. Potato salad probably bought wholesale. Garlic bread just bread from griddle not much flavor. Would not return.

Great food and very friendly.
-
Terrible, overcooked food with poor service. Avoid.

Katie was great taking our take out order. As we waited we saw her get busy, train someone and handle every single think that came to the counter with flow and ease. She is great!

Great experience
-
great prices and awesome lunch specials!!!!
-
Not as good as it used to be a few years ago
-
All good, just don't care about home fries and their fries. Fries need a little salt, plus I prefer hash browns
-
Great food great prices. We had the lunch specials. I got the 1/4 lb cheese burger with 2 sides for under $12.00 and he got the sliced beef lunch combo with 2 sides and garlic toast. Good quality, fresh food and great hometown service.

Delicious food, great service, friendly staff

The most blandest food in all of Saint Cloud. Even their French fries tasted like the ones you find in the trash. No brisket, that should tell you enough. Their beef has no cut name just “bbq beef”. Most likely some mystery meat. Terrible bbq sauces, beans, “garlic” bread with no garlic. The pulled pork was the least nastiest dish. The ribs looked like they rinsed them off before and after cooking with dish soap. Couldn’t find a lick of seasoning on them. This place tastes like if Burger King tried to make bbq food.

Went for breakfast today and was great. Thanks Shannon our waitress.

Great barbecue. I think this is the best in Saint Cloud. The Feast for 2 is a good deal with a good amount and variety of meats.

GRWAT FOOD..SMALL PORTIONS THOUGH....

I have been going to fat boys since it opened up many many years ago. The food is still good except for they changed the beans they don't taste the same and they don't look the same. Otherwise everything else was very good service atmosphere everyone was very nice and helpful. I think it was a little steep for the prime rib sandwich. Price could go down some. Also to my friend got the sliced pork and that was not at the lunch price. Also too if they see you're a senior citizen they should offer the discount to you
