BTW BURGERS TACOS WAFFLES

The server, Bryan, was fantastic! Very personable and attentive.

My wife and I stopped by today and grabbed lunch. I had the Taco Duo and she had the All American Burger. As always, the food was excellent. However, this time I’m also giving a 5-star rating on our server Bryan. Not once did he let our drinks get low and he was very engaging to talk to. We love bringing our business to BTW in Tavares!!

Overpriced, take your business elsewhere. Also, they won't accept cash orders to go, so you must go wait the 30 minutes it takes for every order to come up in person. Funny considering they'll gladly take your cash to park in their lot if there's an event going on. Tavares would be better off without this business.

The staff is super friendly and the turkey burger was delicious!

I'll start off be saying the service was fantastic. Unfortunately for us the burgers and fries tasted like they came from the frozen section at Food Depot. Food had no flavor and our food was barely warm. Total waste of $56.00 😡.

If you have any type of peanut allergy you can not eat here. We were informed this evening that everything is cross-contaminated. Very disappointing!!

Cheese curds very oily like the oil was not hot enough when they put them im. My secret lover which is their red velvet waffle with berries didn't taste like anything barely any Nutella on it just a lot of whip cream. The gringo tacos weren't to good either. The yolo burger was ok-ish and so was the grilled cheese sandwich. The cokes were flat, pink lemonade was like water. The tater tots were good. Place looks nice and I had high hopes but definitely won't be going back to BTW. ☹️

Atmosphere in the bar area is Alice in Wonderland themed and very cute. Food was delicious but overpriced. Being served a $30 meal (hamburger and macaroni and cheese) on a paper-covered metal tray and paper cup with plastic utensils felt incongruous. Wait staff varied. Our original waitress forgot to deliver one drink order completely, and was not attentive or visible for most of the remainder of our meal. The other waitress seemed to be doing double duty covering all tables, proving why tip-sharing is a travesty.

We came here for lunch and overall it was a decent experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and really adds to the vibe. I ordered an Irish burger, and while it tasted good, I felt like for $25 I expected a bit more in terms of portion or value. The fries were a little overcooked, so they came out pretty crunchy with each bite.

BTW is normally one of our favorite restaurants but tonight it was awful, we got there around 8:30 it took forever to get our drinks and when the food came out it was cold, the charro beans were awful and cold, the waffle fries weren’t fresh it was if they were sitting around for awhile and flimsy , I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was so salty that I couldn’t even eat it and I tried because I was starving but couldn’t get it down, the chicken was tender but the batter was so salty. Hopefully this was a case of the cook just having an off night. We’ll try it again in the future because like I said It was one of our go to spots.
