Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Complaints here are real, but they are mostly not about the kitchen. Opinion on freshness and temperature is split — those reviews land at 2.8 on average. After that, pacing appears most often — 33% of the corpus, averaging 3.2.
Older reviews score better than newer ones (1.7 recent against 2.2 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average. A third strand, how guests are treated, appears in 28% of them at 3.2 stars. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 1, the most frequently given rating (11 reviews).
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (92/100), with 1 intermediate and 5 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. DBPR last walked in on March 13, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. Ranked against Lake County, it is safer than 68% of the restaurants we score. The citations behind that grade include food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and plumbing installed & maintained.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Drive thru at lunch fast service great people even hot a free treat for my small dog! 😊 Thanks
-
One year later and still the same problems. This store should have stayed closed. Ordered doordash tonight. Everything was cold. Both my burgers were wrong.
-
When I took the first bite f the burger there was so much salt, that is all you could taste. I tried one more bite before throwing it away. The meat was not only salty, but it tasted like the meat was bad. Not a great experience when your trying to eat on the go.
-
Somebody PLEASE BLOCK THIS DRIVE THRU if you are closed. I already left your place because of bad upkeep. And now since you closed, it's disruptive to my job at Jimmy John's because I can hear people honking in YOUR DT and it's loud enough I can't hear anything from the jj SPEAKER Please close your lanes when they are out of use.

It was the worst experience ever. Half an hour for a chicken and fry box.
-
Got home ready to eat my chicken sandwich till I seen it was raw in middle
-
Horrible service left waiting at the drive thru for 10 minutes and then refused to sell me my food when I gave them a $100 bill my order was $28

Great simple, Classic Cheese Burger at reasonable prices.
-
Got the new Glorilla burger Not that good don’t even look like picture and fries were soggy. But the sweet tea was great. Here’s a picture of what it’s supposed to look like and what I got.
-
Quick in and out. Friendly service. Fresh food.
-
They got my order wrong. A pretty long wait.
-
Did not visit
-
Couldn't get the 4 dollar meals because no apple pies tried to ask for substitutions but the AI told me no and tried to walk in the store all doors locked on a Sunday at 4pm great job checkers not

The AI ordering has actually improved the service here. Food is always great. I order a "no bum" burger for less carbs and they got 100% of my order correct. Took away a star for the attitude at the window.
-
The food was horrible. Didn't get my order right, forgot my drink. The person who was taking care of us had his air pods In the whole time and didn't even hear us when we was talking to him. DONT GO TO THIS CHECKERS! ITS PURE CRAP!
-
I only went thru the drive thru in Tavares. The place looks filthy. Fish sandwich was not thoroughly cooked and dripping in grease. The cheeseburger meat was old and the whole sandwich was not very appealing and had no taste. One and done with this place. And not that friendly either.
-
Actually had indoor seating but a/c was not working and dining room was hot!
