Something changed. Recent visits score noticeably higher than earlier ones. Opinion on the staff is split — those reviews land at 3.1 on average. How long an order takes is the next most common subject, in 29% of reviews (averaging 2.7).
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 10 of 21. A third strand, serving size, appears in 24% of them at 2.4 stars. The split is 13 positive to 5 negative across 21 rated reviews, with 3 in the middle.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (96/100), 1 intermediate and 1 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from June 2, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. That puts it ahead of 67% of graded kitchens in Indian River County. What the inspector actually wrote up: food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and storage & handling of clean equipment and utensils.

Enjoyable visit great service!

The front of the house looks amazing, The kitchen not so much there was roaches crawling. I was the manager pulling away a metal piece away by the dish and they were scrambling away. There food takes forever which is why I walked out and the roaches took the icing off the cake. Was multiple little bugs flying around. Health inspectors go check out the back of the house of bonefish please

We both had seafood dinners. I had a salmon dish and it was delicious. However my guest had a shrimp dish with rice but the rice was over cooked and it ruined the experience for her.

Seating was quick, service and food was worth the price. Everything was flavorful.

Very disappointing experience Sunday. We sat at the bar and the young lady bartending had no concept of customer service. She was busy talking to her guy friend about their plans, completely ignoring the entire side of the bar. Finally a second team member came behind the bar & we asked if we could order. She was very nice and promptly started the order. However, there was no Ahi Tuna. Not typical for a Bonefish Grill, but the Vero location failed. Moved on to the Filet. Ordered Medium, got extra Well Done. The young bartender with the bun hairdo was still busy chatting, so the bartender that was actually Working addressed the issue politely. Definitely needs back & front of the house improvement.

Food was very good. Service not bad. The dinning room seemed cramped.

Went on aThursday night 8 pm. Very slow night and hardly anyone there. I chose to eat outside and I was only one there. A huge industrial fan was making a loud racket like it's bearings were bad. Since it was a cool, breezy night I asked them to please turn it off. I sighed a huge sigh of relief when that awful noise stopped. I ordered simply grilled snapper with a butter lemon sauce, steamed broccoli, jasmine rice, and their hearts of palm side salad, glass of wine and slice of key lime pie. I used to love this salad but tonight was not so good tonight. Very salty and I couldn't finish it. The fish was just okay and the broccoli was nice. The jasmine rice was horrible. I couldn't eat it. It was sticky, crunchy and dry, like it wasn't cooked enough or like it was old and reheated under a food lamp. I don't know, what the problem was, but l couldn't eat it at all. I told the waitress and she just agreed with me that it shouldn't be that way, but did not offer to comp some of the meal. The pie slice was really tiny, I mean like kid sized. Four bites and it was gone. I wish I had asked for the manager. Especially when I saw the bill. I debated giving less of a tip, but my service was pretty good, it was the food experience that wasn't. My bill came to $77 with 20% tip. Maybe I should have lowered the tip since she didn't offer to get the manager. I won't be going back ever again.

Went for a presentation and the choices were very good. Sea Bass, 7oz filet, or chicken with artichokes! Date had the bass and I had the filet that had crab crumbles on it. Both very good with an unique flavor. Alexa provided excellent, friendly service with a professional attitude. Enjoyable experience. Almost forgot, appetizer, entree, drink and desert was included. The cheesecake was incredible. This time, 5/4/26, went for a different presentation and this time was offered salmon or chicken Marsala. The salmon is excellent.

We visited on May 29th,26 after 8pm and were disappointed. The restaurant was hardly busy, yet it took a very long time for our food to arrive. The presentation was also noticeably lacking and did not reflect the prices being charged. As for the food, the flavors just weren’t there. The burger had two small hard chunks inside, which was unpleasant. The chicken Marsala had an overpowering wine taste, almost as if the wine had not been properly cooked down. The mashed potatoes tasted heavily of chicken stock, and the shrimp and scallops dish was bland. For the price, the scallops were very small and appeared to be frozen rather than fresh. The only thing that was Pleasent was the smoked old fashioned, imperial dip and the server. Unfortunately, the quality of both the food and overall dining experience has declined compared to what we’ve enjoyed there in the past.

There was only 1 waitress for our large party. She kept messing up the bil adding items that we didn't have. Mgmt wanted to delete payments already approved and re charge them it took us more than 30 minutes to have the bills corrected and at least 40 minutes to get our food. I would not recommend bone fish grill the choice of entrees are limited

We went for Mother’s Day and had reservations at 5:45 we ended up being there for 2 1/2 hours. Our server did not check to see if we needed refills or more bread and didn’t let us know there was a delay in getting our food. Definitely will not be going back!

What a huge disappointment. We waited 10 minutes to see our waitress, 10 minutes for our drinks and 45 minutes for our food. We sat on the patio because we had young children and the fan for our section wasn’t working. It was 90 degrees out. It was not an enjoyable Mother’s Day.

I ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Scampi. It arrived only luke warm. The garlic in the scampi sauce was crunchy (raw) and the scallops were extremely small. Not a good value for the price. I also asked the hostess for a different table as we were directly under an air conditioning vent and she wouldn't move us as the other tables were reserved. We had a reservation too. Waitress was excellent but I consider the service as poor because of the hostess. Overall, I will not be returning.

The best Mahi I've ever had and we asked our waiter to tell the chef and Jerry came out and we told him how great his cooking is. He was polite and very professional.
