Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The recurring subject in this corpus is front-of-house, not the food in general. Where the staff comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.4, so it reads as a strength.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 19 of 26. 21 of 26 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower. Whether it is worth the money shows up in 15% of reviews as well, averaging 4.3.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (94/100), 1 intermediate and 3 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from March 3, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. On health score it sits safer than 56% of the Indian River County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: handwash sinks accessible.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

The service was great, very friendly workers as well as front welcome crew. The pasta was OK. The pasta was thin and just didn't taste as good as I was anticipating.

Every time I come out to Vero Beach in Florida I come to visit. I continuously come to this favorite restaurant. Don’t forget to order your spumoni. Every 3 to 4 months, I fly out to make a special trip for spumoni. I’m back again for another three weeks. Don’t forget to visit it’s worth it. It’s a six hour flight.

Very good food with generous portions! Lots of Italian classics at good prices.
-
The taste of the food is consistently good and always had pleasant and attentive servers.
-
The soup was strange tasted like nothing I've ever had before the salad was oily. The meatballs were hard dry and tasted weird also . Definitely not worth the price but the service was great..

Second time we've gone here. Had Seafode Pescatore. Outstanding, hot and delicious

-
One terrific meal....great menu with huge serving. Top notch service with very courteous staff. Can't wait to go again!

Awesome place, same people that opened it still run it. Must be…over 30 years. Great Italian food and a full bar. Spacious but cozy atmosphere. Hockey fans ( another plus ) and more than reasonable prices for a nice sit down restaurant. I had the ravioli, which is one of the smaller meals, and still left stuffed and I’m a 220 lb eater

If you like lots and lots of oil in your meal, this is the place for you. Chicken marsala was floating in a thick oil slick with no marsala flavor. Why? Antipasto salad had no flavor, and again, covered in excessive, plain, no flavor OIL. Definitely a pass for us

Went last night May 4. To borrow a quote from Phil Rizzuto.... Holy Cow! I had the Angel hair Al Funghetto. Fantastic. We have been there a few times. Never disappointed. Just wow!

We used to absolutely love this restaurant and were excited to bring our family members with us on their first visit to Vero. I don't know what happened - new owner? New cook? It just wasnt good. There were so many onions in my Picatta and it was just so oily that it didn't taste like Picatta at all. I couldn't finish it. I went with that instead of the francese because I saw another recent review that said the francese was not good either. My husband got the fettuccine alfredo and it was like noodles in cheese soup, weirdly with chunks of scallions? It is bizarre, and felt as though whoever cooked it had no idea how to cook normally. It wasn't like the food was burnt or anything, it just didn't taste good. I hope this place gets whoever used to do the cooking back, whoever is doing it now really needs to stop.

Still the best in town! Good Italian food with great service. Full bar available. Friday and Saturday nights can get busy. Actually, most nights can get busy. If you don't want to wait, come early. If you don't mind waiting, you can always get a drink from the bar while you wait. Update: Still fantastic. Service with a smile. Servings are huge. Fodd is fantastic.

Very good food and nice wine selection. Service was professional and timely

I special order the "sarina" everytime I go there and tonight was the best I've ever had.thanks to whoever made it tonight! Delicious
-
Possibly the best Italian food in Vero Beach. A great family owned establishment. Super friendly staff. Incredible Italian staples with obvious care given to food preparation and the customer experience.

Christine was a great server. FOOD WAS AMAZING* def will be back

Nice place with a lovely atmosphere, but they definitely don't know how to make chicken francese. There was absolutely no lemon in that dish at all. Whatever sauce they used was pretty runny and flavorless. The chicken was tender at least, but I was really disappointed in the dish. Chicken francese is my favorite meal, and this was not even close, unfortunately. The waitress brought over desserts to make it up to us, but we are not dessert eaters. We told her we didn't want them, but she brought them anyway. We had her take them back so they wouldn't go to waste. Hopefully she told the kitchen to check their recipe, as we requested. If you're a chicken francese fan, definitely don't order it here. You'll be very disappointed.
