Mediocre food, mediocre staff, mediocre service. Staff is extremely unprofessional, childish and know nothing about the menu. Has a “better than thou” complex. Nothing about this place is worth spending a penny. NOT KID/FAMILY FRIENDLY

I enjoyed it first time being at a true lgbtq+ themed/owned restaurant/bar. Atmosphere was amazing food even better staff were amazing 10/10 would come again 😀

I enjoyed going to the Kilted Mermaid for the band that was playing, and while I'm not partial towards the establishments decorations, the food was amazing (worth the prices they have) and the place has a cozy feel to it inside 😊

If youb are vegan and looking for some great food, great beer and a great atmosphere this is the place!

Funky place, great beer selection.

Sort of funny how the wife and I found this place. I started this system when there were no smart phones, and continue this method even as they exist. If in a town and wondering where I should go, I seek out a bar with an adjective-animal in its name. Blind Pig. Fainting Goat. Happy Monkey. Whatever. Yes, I know a mermaid is only half fish, but it is my game and therefore it qualifies. Anyway, another thing my wife and I seek out is FONDUE. Thus, when we crossed my search of adjective-animal bars and her search of fondue...bingo. We made a great choice. This place just bleeds good vibes from the moment you walk in. Unique exterior, beer garden area, cool wall decor, corners with all sorts of stuff going on, cool outdoor patio area, and, most importantly, great service. Thor (I assume one of the managers) greeted us, and elevated our experience. He was just covering until the other bartender came on, but we enjoyed the heck out his friendliness, efficiency, humor, and knowledge of the menu and of the bar. We got the three cheese fondue dish, and it was amazing. Plenty of cheese, plenty of dippers. We didn't add protein (I believe that cheese has protein in it), and I thought the pretzel and potato were the best dippers, although bread is a given as a good choice. PLENTY of beer on tap, and I had the Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. Wife had the rose and liked it also. We went when they first opened, but you just had a feeling, looking around, that the place got FUN later on.…

Just realized I mistakenly rated Kilted Mermaid one instead of five stars. This is a super fun place for dinner and entertainment of all kinds. Love music, drag bingo, trivia and more. Food is enjoyable and vegan / vegetarian friendly and if you like fondue this is the place. Great selection of wine and beer and newly has a liquor license. Go soon and often. No regrets.

Great ambience, a unique atmosphere compared to most Florida places. Warm, friendly, inclusive, and welcoming staff. Love the beer selection and the variety of entertainment. The weak link is the menu. I wish they had better food choices, we always have to go to dinner somewhere else first.
