Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
If these 24 reviews agree on a topic, it is front-of-house. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.3 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, how long an order takes appears most often — 21% of the corpus, averaging 4.0.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 16 of 24. 19 of 24 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower. What nobody raises here is tidiness — it goes unmentioned across all 24 reviews.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (98/100) with 2 basic violations. That result dates from April 27, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 81% of the Indian River County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: cross-contamination and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

We had friends visiting from out of town and celebrating my wife's birthday. The food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic. Scampi Grill is must go to place. 🇺🇸
-
Billy was very helpful, he explained the menu and recommended the red snapper picada and was delicious!!!

My wife and I just had a fantastic meal with a great server! We have eaten here many times but will NEVER return. 1 star rating, I tried to pay in cash, IN GOD WE TRUST US TENDER. "Sorry we can't accept cash"! Well, I can't accept that!

The food was absolutely on point!! Both entrees were sooo good and the appetizer were delicious. Our waiter was so great. He took excellent care of us!! BUT I was so disappointed in the price, size and taste of the small slice of the lemon cake dessert. but I know not to order dessert next time.

One of the best resturants in vero beach! Must stop if your in town. Service, food, atmosphere is all top notch! Thanks for a great night everytime!

The salmon piccata was out of this world! My husband and I loved our entrees and dessert and the service was so impeccable. Both of us agreed it was our favorite dinner we’ve had in a long time. Our server Tony was great!

Tony was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious

Had to wait an hour for main entree after placing order...too long. Flavors of food was good but way too much sauce, just swimming in calories turned me off. Even baby artichokes, a really good Italian appetizer were swimming in butter. The exuberant sauces covered a lot of the hood taste of food.

The host who sat us was abrupt and gave us an immediate negative view of the restaurant. We arrived at 4:45 without a reservation, the restaurant was virtually empty, but he treated us like we were intruding. Our server was perky but not overly efficient. Everything is a la carte, and the portions are not overwhelmingly large. The food was good. We did not have dessert.

Food was delicious. Weather was perfect for enjoying their outdoor dining. Portions were huge. Great place, great value.

First time on Saturday night, we didn't make reservations...the hostess told us, 1.5 hrs, 'maybe'...the owner/manager grabbed us and seated us immediately...what a magnificent experience. From clams to salmon, Shrimp, Scallops and spahetti...you wont go wrong, except the reservations and the parking...magnificent place.

Had a great time there with ny sisters

The food here was decent, but unfortunately, it couldn't make up for the uncomfortable atmosphere. We ended up here on a whim while staying overnight in town after a recommendation from our hotel. We arrived around 8:30 PM on a Saturday and were given the choice of indoor or outdoor seating; we chose inside to avoid the crowd. That’s where the positive experience ended. We quickly noticed a jarring difference in how we were treated compared to other guests. Our waitress was incredibly warm and chatty with the tables around us, but when it came to our table of two, she was abrupt, short, and made zero effort to be welcoming.*It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. It’s a shame because the meal itself was fine, but we left feeling unwelcome and confused by the "locals-only" vibe. If you aren't a regular or a resident, I’d suggest looking elsewhere—the hospitality just isn't there for outsiders.

First time visit. The Escargot was recommended but was disappointing and the snails were underwhelming. It would be better taken off the menu than serving a non-traditional version with an overwhelming lemon sauce versus a garlic, parsley, and shallot butter sauce.

Me and my boyfriend sat outside which normally I dont like but they have made it very cozy! Hope was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested alot of great things like the artichoke appetizer which was honestly my favorite thing! The lasagna i had was well prepared and I tried a bit of my boyfriends mushroom ravioli which was just as amazing. Cocktails were yummy however very dangerous! We will be back!

First time here, had no wait time for a busy night. Hope was our server, she absolutely made our experience fun. The House made ravioli was superb.

This review was coming after I left Florida. I forgot to make a review when I was there that day. Wi-Fi connection wasn’t very good from my phone so here it is the waiter was excellent. He knew the menu very well and my dinner was extremely good. Got there when I had happy hour. Got two drinks. I thought I took a picture of my chicken dinner, but I guess I did not the desserts were excellent. I highly recommend. This is the second time I’ve been to this location when I was there last time visiting about six months ago.

What a wonderful busy little restaurant. I love the atmosphere and decor. We sat at the bar because it was a very busy night. Dakota was a great bartender. Very attentive and organized. Management was active on the floor. We had Baby artichokes for an appetizer. They were delicious.. I found the clams linguine to be a little too salty for my taste. I will try something else next time. My daughter's entree was delicious and the scallops were cooked perfectly. Overall great dining experience and will return 👌

I wish I had pictures. The food, drinks, and service were wonderful. Thanks to our server Tony. I had the artichokes for an appetizer and the chicken with burrata for dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant. You probably need reservations.

Nice atmosphere. indoors is subdued and quiet. Patio is great in good weather. Food here is good but by no means Italian. Carbonara is egg not marsapone. Way over sauced. Still a good place if you're not a purist
