AMC WEST MELBOURNE 12

I brought my Grandchildren to AMC to watch Toy Story 5. We arrived & purchased tickets & child's drink, popcorn package. Entering the theater Noone guided us or took our tickets. I found out after the fact I paid for 3D & never recieved the special glasses. Disappointed Grama 😣

Drove 35 mins from my house as this was one of the locations that distributed the Buzz Lightyear Lorcana promo card with the movie. They didn't pickup the phone, otherwise I would have not come. They said they ran out of the card early on. This is at 4PM on the 20th. The promotion said will distribute between the 18th and 21st until supply runs out. How do you guys not get enough distribution to runout long before the promotion ends...

The movie was good … I could have had more comfortable seats

Everytime I try to buy a Hotdog, they are rarely ready to sell. Employees don't seem to care. Yesterday it actually was ready, but the employee couldn't figure out how to enter my Stubs #, so i didn't get credit for it. The apathy was big time.

Great theater.

I paid for my kids to see a movie. They charge “adult” for their age but refused to let them see the movie “per company policy “. Call after call. No answer. Want my refund or credit.

Fantastic experience, the IMAX was in good upkeep, and the service was friendly.

A couple of years ago this was the best movie theater in Palm Bay, But now it’s the worst one. Last few times I’ve been my movie gets canceled due to malfunction or the power goes out. When I’m able to get into the movie it’s so unbelievably hot that I cant enjoy my movie. Please do yourself a favor and just go to cinema world. Update: this theather still hasn’t fixed the AC issue please stay clear

Amazing theatre

Went to see the Mandalorian. Great movie, special effects were great and IMAX screen is super large with awesome resolution. The sound however was loud, distorted and physically uncomfortable during extra loud scenes, which is much of the movie. I had to plug my ears with my fingers often and I do not have sensitive hearing, it was just EXTREMELY LOUD. Folks were actually leaving the theater because of the high sound volume. Enclosed is a screen shot from a sound meter app taken during the ending credits with only music playing to give you some idea of the sound level. Many scenes were MUCH louder. In my opinion the theater sound needs to be professionally balanced by a sound engineer. Loud does not equate to quality hi-fidelity sound. Bring your ear plugs if you see this movie, you’ll need them.

Extremely loud, we made it through the previews by plugging our ears and were told the movie sound would be normal. Left 1 minute into the movie. Was told it's the standard volume for all imax movies, and that people bring ear plugs to make the experience normal. Strange to pay $50 and then need to bring ear pro, but the volume was perfect while I was plugging my ears with my fingers. No refund because tickets were purchased online. Two stars only because the staff was very nice, and from what I understand it's an imax issue not a theatre-specific issue.
