Check in was very positive and friendly. We played here before and have had a good experience. However, once we got on the course (Panther Lake) when approaching the first green, we quickly realized they had killed the greens and surrounding area in preparation for closing the course on May 4th to replace the greens. Nobody informed us of this issue, not even the starter. It was a disgrace, every green was dead. Needless to say, our experience was terrible. There was no price reduction or apology for the miserable conditions. Why would you start preparing for construction when you are still selling full cost tee times. Not only were the conditions terrible, the pace of play was horrible as well. It took us 5 hours to play. Never saw a Marshall the entire time, The group in front of us was a hole behind the ground in front of them. A call to the Pro Shop was in vain. A very disappointing experience after driving 1.5 hours from the east coast of Fla. Never again. As an added item, I sent an email provided in the golf course response as suggested. Very disappointed that no one took the time to respond or address my concerns further. Too Bad.

Course was great I really enjoyed it. However, ranger got mad at us for playing slow, thinking we were apart of a scramble which we weren’t. No one was behind us the entire day. Finished up at the bar where the bartender was rude about wanting to split a bill and gossiping with her coworker about how cheap people are in front of us. Again, lots of fun and beautiful course but staff could use some work

They are trying to cram in as many groups as possible. The course is fine, but they’re trying to rush everyone through. Don’t expect a chill round of golf. But if you like speed golf, the course is in good shape.

So, I have seen multiple apologizes from the course to people from my group that post their honest review of the Panther course. 1. The greens were not grass or playable. They were hard and grey and more like concrete. 2. I booked in mid-March and the course never indicated the green were going redone or that they wouldn't be perfect seeing we paid $169 a person. 3. Responding to these reviews indicating that you said you were going to make it up is a partial lie at best. Yes, we exchanged emails but your response doesn't mean anything. What does this mean "we will extend a preferred rate to your group"? I know you provided the singe that you put with our one group 50% next visit. I asked for clarification but no response from the golf course. It feels like the course stole $2704 from my group. So many great courses in the Orlando area but on this day the Panther clearly wasn't one of them.

1 STAR. Would give a O if I could. With a group of 16 guys coming down from Michigan and Toronto, booked March 24th for Panther Lake, there was ZERO communication about them killing the greens, closing the course the next day, and charging the whole entire group a full rate of $160+ American... $230+ Canadian. We are severely disappointed with the way we were treated. Course employees made it seem like it was our issue for not checking course conditions on our own claiming other golfers actually like the dead greens....double downing on their poor conditions. There was a single paired with one of our groups, the GM gave the single a 50% off his rate next visit. We requested for the General Manager, Lee Williamson, to work with us on next years trip since we make this trip yearly and Lee has GHOSTED us via email. I would NOT recommend this course with the awful communication and accountability from the staff and GM. We thoroughly enjoyed the course last year in peak condition, but this year our group feels robbed of our $ and our experience for traveling across the country.

Let me start by saying I played the Panther Lake course last year and, while it was a bit pricey compared to other courses in the area, the conditions were acceptable. That experience is why we chose to return this year as part of an annual trip. Unfortunately, this visit was a major disappointment. Our group booked well in advance and were not informed of any issues with the course. Upon arrival, we were told it would be the final day before the course closed for greens reconstruction and that the greens were in the process of being killed off. Despite this, staff at both the clubhouse and first tee assured us the greens were still playing well and had even received compliments. That was not our experience at all. The greens were extremely firm—more like putting on concrete—which significantly impacted the quality and enjoyment of the round. It was frustrating to hear repeated assurances that conditions were “good” when they clearly were not. What made matters worse was the lack of transparency beforehand and the decision to charge full price despite substandard conditions. Even after raising our concerns post-round, there was no acknowledgment or offer of any form of compensation. While the fairways were in decent shape, the overall experience did not justify the cost. With the Canadian exchange, the round came to over $250, which is excessive given we played several better courses in the area for less. This could have been handled much better with upfront communication…

Didn't stay here just played golf. Me and my friends have been playing here years. Always in great shape. It also holds alot of big events. LIV tour etc..

Had a very poor experience at Orange County National. My Scotty Cameron putter cover went missing between the time I dropped my bag with them and getting to the green on the first hole. I asked the bag guys to check the lost and found. Nothing. I asked the pros inside. Also nothing. Miraculously they found it at the same time I was flying home a couple days later. They said I could pay to have it shipped home, to which I said yes. 3 weeks later it still hasn't showed up, and I have received no communication since. Golf course was amazing. Service has been the opposite.

I played a charity foundation tournament and the course was great in all aspects.

Used to be one of my favorites in the area. 5 1/2 hour round is absolutely terrible. We saw the ranger numerous times, for what? Course is fun and staff all friendly. Will avoid in future due to pace

Played crook cat on Monday it was slow and not in great shape. Played Panther lake on Tuesday. Get out to the practice green 20 minutes before my round star and stars bugging me and the random I am paired with saying have to combine carts. So I end up having to go back to club house pay and additional fee and lose my practice time. Round was going fine, we get to the 18th tee box starter comes out says we can't play 18 because they just sprayed the green. Said it was our fault because we played to fast. This place is ran by clowns. Won't be back and I wouldnt waste your time here. Panther lake wasn't in great shape either.
