Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
57% of reviews here touch on how guests are treated, more than any other theme. Where how guests are treated comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.7, so it reads as a strength. How food arrives is the next most common subject, in 24% of reviews (averaging 5.0).
The split is 18 positive to 1 negative across 21 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. Behind those, portion size is raised in 19% of reviews (4.5 average). 5 stars is the modal score, given by 17 of the 21 reviewers who rated.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (93/100), 1 intermediate and 4 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That inspection was on March 3, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 53% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. Among the items recorded were dishwashing facilities and handwash sinks accessible.

Food was absolutely delectable

I don't think I've ever been to a specifically Turkish restaurant before, but the Mediterranean flavors were familiar. My favorites were the mixed appetizer, falafel, lavas bread, Turkish style pizza, and lamb kebabs. Some of the other grilled meats were a little dry. Prices are reasonable for Winter Park, and service was friendly. Edit: Came back and the lamb shank was delicious and super tender! My father in law said his lamb kebab was the best he's ever had!

Bosphorous has been a Winter Park staple for years, and after one visit it’s easy to understand why. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between casual and upscale, making it just as good for a date night as it is for lunch while walking Park Avenue. The food is packed with flavor and offers a nice change of pace from the usual restaurant options around town. The fresh bread, dips, kebabs, and traditional Turkish dishes all feel thoughtfully prepared, and the portions are generous. If you’ve never had Turkish cuisine before, this is a fantastic introduction. Service was friendly, attentive, and happy to help with recommendations. The outdoor seating is also perfect for people-watching and enjoying the energy of Park Avenue. One of Winter Park’s most unique dining experiences and a place that’s earned its reputation over the years.

Mohammed was great attending to us, very good service and good.

Our waitress was very knowledgeable, but we got an expensive dish, and we hated the lamb We left half of the plate They left a woman with a huge and stinky dog enter the restaurant and sit indoors. No common sense. After talking to the waitress, the issue was quickly solved. 2 stars for the food 5 stars for attentiveness of staff.

The food was so bad, it was not a proper Turkish food. We were so eager to taste but a total disapointment

Bir Türk olarak lezzetleri beğeniyorum. Fiyat kalite dengesi güzel. Orlando'da üç yerleri var hepsi aynı kalite. Tebrikler

The atmosphere in this place just stands out.The Mediterranean-inspired colors, Turkish lanterns, and a lively energy makes it perfect for anything from a casual lunch to a special occasion. The freshness of the ingredients and the authenticity of the flavors are surreal, the lavas bread is a must-order, arriving at the table warm and ballooned from the oven, perfect for pairing with hummus, baba ghanoush, or muhammara. It is so hard to pick an entree from their manu, everything sounds delicious just by going over the descriptions, they have lamb shank, chicken shish kebab, mixed grill platters, stuffed grape leaves, and traditional Turkish desserts like künefe and pistachio baklava. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared.

My wife and I went for the first time. We really enjoyed it. I recommend it.

First time here and everything was phenomenal. Eva was our serve and she was very nice and knowledgeable on the menu. The food was amazing can’t wait to come back

Danny our server last year made our second visit an absolute pleasure In January. The beef shish was to die for. Love the pickled cabbage, onions and the rediculously tender beef tenderloin. Dan, you're truly an incredible people person and we appreciated your kindness, knowledge of the menu, and willingness to make our experience memorable while on our road trip to Florida. Bosphorus has a delicious unfiltered lager beer called Bomanti that I highly recommend. Dont leave without trying it. Kid friendly, nice patio for people/car watching. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for accomodating us earlier than scheduled, it meant a lot to us with the kids.

I recently dined at Bosphorous, a Turkish restaurant that left a positive impression on me. The food was delightful, offering a generous portion size that truly satisfied our appetites. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors, showcasing the richness of Turkish cuisine. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Despite the rainy weather, we opted to sit outside, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that we stayed dry thanks to the thoughtful arrangement of the outdoor seating. The atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a relaxed setting. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Bosphorous and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Turkish food and great service.

We had dinner here for the first time tonight and it was great! Eva, our server, was fantastic! She took the time to explain everything on the menu, give great recommendations and was very attentive. Highly recommend!

Our server Anna is the best! Very attentive, professional, timely and has a beautiful personality.

A friend and I met for drinks and dinner and we had a wonderful meal. The Turkish old fashioned was good, as was the appetizer with all the dips, but my main was a bit lackluster.
-
We had a group of 17 people for lunch. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was amazing. Manager even helped with choices for people with food allergies. Thank you, we really enjoyed our lunch visit 😊

It's a reasonable option in the $20–$70 price range, but nothing to write home about. The service was attentive, but the main courses were largely hit or miss in terms of flavor and freshness.
