There is no middle ground in these 22 reviews. Front-of-house cuts both ways here, averaging 3.9 among the reviews that raise it. Wait times follows at 27% of reviews, where ratings average 3.3.
15 of 22 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 5 are two or lower. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (15 of 22).
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (90/100) with 1 intermediate and 7 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was January 27, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. On health score it sits safer than 42% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

We love your food, but I would highly recommend you guys do an adult blackened chicken quesadilla With fries for the teenagers!

This place is a favorite spot I go to every month or two with a friend of mine who loves it. The fish tacos are superb and the atmosphere is bright and friendly with a very warm congenial staff. Highly recommend!

I stopped in recently and tried the Baja taco, and it was absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with just the right kick. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, paired with a great slaw and sauce that tied everything together beautifully. Beyond the food, the location was decked out in full patriotic glory for the 4th of July, with red, white, and blue decorations everywhere that created such a festive and welcoming atmosphere. It really made the whole dining experience feel special and fun. I’ll definitely be returning soon—highly recommended!

Make sure you have time to spare. 30 mins since I ordered my food to go, others that came in after me have their food, and we are still waiting. Been told it will be out soon. Update: we got our food 40 mins after we ordered it. While the staff was nice and offered us a refund, I said no thank you cuz I didn’t want it to look like I was complaining so I can get a refund. In retrospect, I should have taken the refund offer since we did waited 40 mins for our to go order while others dinning in, who came in after us, got their food before us. Maybe management, I doubt it, will see this and reach out and honor the refund their employees were trying to give us.

We waited 40 minutes for a taco and some cheesy beans and rice. Every time we asked about our order, they said ‘it’s coming.’ Apparently it was coming from Hawaii. AVOID this place.

We went to Jimmy Hula's and you have to go up to the counter to get a menu Go sit down review the menu and place your order. Then you have to go back pick up your food go back and sit down and eat. I was very disappointed in this place. The prices are high and you serve yourself and clean up after yourself when you're done. What a load of crap I would never return there. After seeing all of this we just walked out of the restaurant. We decided to go to another place in the area that had better prices and a lot better service. I don't go out to eat lunch or dinner so I can serve myself. You do everything except Cook the food. Not worth the price

Fantastic eatery with fun atmosphere and plenty of sheltered/shaded outdoor dining perfect for enjoying Florida weather. We regularly stop in to check out the Taco of the Month and other seasonal items, and we've got lots of favorites on the regular menu. My favorites are the Kingston taco, the crack'd corn, and the mojo fries, though the Zion Bowl is a close second. Really awesome desserts, too! Consistently friendly staff; we always feel welcome!

Awesome burgers and tacos. They were out of soft drinks when we went, but food was still excellent. Cool place and laid back vibe

First time bringing my father here and we had a great experience. The service was excellent, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. We especially appreciated our server, Jonathan — he provided top-notch service and made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Great food, even better food ❤️

Great fast casual place for tacos, burgers, and bowls. I liked the Teriyaki bowl with shrimp. I got the Mojo fries as well which were a little too salty, but the sauce they come with is delicious. I also got the Aloha burger to go for my husband and he liked it. It was small but delicious. The atmosphere is very cheery and great for hanging out.

It’s the slowest service there is. We’ve waiting almost thirty minutes for a bowl and three tacos.

Food is always fire!

Teriyaki bowl and the Jimichurri bowl were AMAZING! I can’t wait to go back! I wish we had one down south. Come to Coral Springs! Pass on the Mac and cheese… too mushy no flavor.

Just started coming here. The tacos are delicious!! Love the flavor combinations. The specials are occasionally, unusual, but the rest of the menu items are amazing, so no issues there. I am a big fan of tacos and I'm becoming a regular. The staff is also extremely helpful and provide excellent service to customers. Try the jimmichuri with grilled chicken.

I started coming to this location about 2 months ago and I can't stop myself from coming back. Food is delicious and employees are super laid back and chill. Today I had the most bizarre experience. Came in to the restaurant with my dad who hadn't been in like three years. When it came time to order the young lady in the brown shirt and black double braids really did not seem like she was in a good mood. Throughout my Dad's order she gave him short one word answers and her attitude was really brazen. When my Dad asked what kind of beer they had she Looked up at the beer above us and gestured to the cooler and said. "Beer." At this point my Dad stuck up for himself and said "I haven't been here in years, you don't need to be this way." To which she did not reply. My Dad was super discouraged and made to feel ignorant for having questions about the menu. The young lady then proceeded to take my order like nothing happened. We sat and we ate but the awkward tension ruined our experience. I informed one of the other ladies about the rude girls behavior. I told her it was bizarre because everyone else in the past, namely Jonathan had been so kind and accommodating. The food is delicious and the service is on point. To add even more to the visit my food came out waaaaay before my Dad's and for a good while he had nothing to eat. I very much have enjoyed eating here. This was becoming one of my favorite places to eat. However completely unwarranted rudeness towards my Father is…

My first time here AND LOVED IT. I love burgers and babbbyyyyy that burger 🍔 was great lol the Kahuna I believe it is called. Either way I loved it. I also got the coconut shrimp 🍤 that was good but not really a big fan. I love the atmosphere and also the music. 🎵 I will be back.
