Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Diners who mention cleanliness here rate it low, yet the kitchen graded A. Reviews mentioning front-of-house average 2.9 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. After that, wait times appears most often — 32% of the corpus, averaging 3.0.
Of the 19 rated reviews, 10 sit at four stars or better and 8 at two or below. A third strand, the state of the room, appears in 26% of them at 1.8 stars. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (10 of 19).
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (98/100) with 2 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was February 18, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 80% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited dishwashing facilities and employee personal belongings.
Worth separating: the complaints above cluster on portion size, not on the kitchen, which inspected well. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

I placed an on line order, arrived 20 minutes after placing it, waited an inordinate amount of time in the line. Arrived at the window and saw three Panera employees, two of whom weren’t doing anything. After several minutes I beeped my horn. The one worker, who was actually working, approached the window. My order was ready and sitting on a counter. I’d like my $2 tip back.

⭐☆☆☆☆ 😒🍞 Came in with a friend for lunch on 6/22/26 around 11:10 AM and had a very disappointing experience. 👎 After placing our order, we waited over 10 minutes without hearing anything. ⏳🤷♂️ I eventually went to the counter to ask about it, only to find that our food had apparently been sitting there the entire time. 🍽️😑 When I asked when someone was going to let us know our order was ready, the associate didn't really have an answer. 🤔❓ Considering this is a Panera location in a prime area like Winter Park, I expected much better customer service. 🏢✨ I've honestly received better service at locations in commercial and industrial areas. 😬 The lack of communication and attentiveness was frustrating, especially since the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. 📢❌👀 To make matters worse, the soup was only lukewarm by the time we got it. 🥣😕 I was hungry and didn't want to wait longer or make an issue out of it, so I just ate it. 🍴 The final disappointment came while my friend started eating, as I was bringing all the food. An associate started vacuuming the carpet nearby while customers had food out. 🧹😳 Vacuuming around people who are actively eating is unprofessional and unsanitary, as it can stir up dust and debris into the dining area. 🤢💨🍽️ Overall, this location needs better training and customer service standards. 📚👨🏫 Unfortunately, I'll be skipping this location in the future. 🚫🍞👋 plus parking 🅿️ was terrible 😢

Fake service dogs are brought in and fed in bowls next to where customers eat. Really gross. Management needs to step in.

Very Rude staff in cashier service and restrooms are filthy. I had to cross the street and use the churches restroom, that's how bad it was. To be a food establishment...do better cleaning and hire friendly staff. Where is the food administration department when you need it. Should a food establishment be so filthy? It shouldn't.

I always order the same thing and I went to another location this time because it’s closer to my job and they gave me this small portion (looks like a kid sandwich) and they forgot my friends avocado too in her sandwich. Never again in this location.

Lettuce, as usual, mostly the yellowing ends of the lettuce. Not worth the price for the Greek salad. The next issue not Panera's fault necessarily, but with this level of no parking maybe offer delivery. Took me 30 minutes to find parking just to pick up a prepaid order. Never going here again because of lack of parking and the so so food.

Way overpriced for the quality. Extremely overpriced for the quantity. Most of the employees dont even care. Some dont even speak American. Food is OK. Atmosphere is ok. The company is definitely about profit margins. They're not trying for real quality. All they want is profit. Otherwise, employees and services are usually good. The ones that don't speak American, are usually kept in the back. Service is slow, I assume it's to make quality look assured. It is usually clean though. You're just not going to get you bang to match your buck.

The soups and sandwiches are incredible and consistent as always. Customer service remains a top priority at this panera location, shown especially by Bailey who helped me with my order and continued to check in on me with an extremely positive attitude. Will be coming back again!

Spicy chicken mess...wet bread, too much sauce and way too many red peppers made for a disgusting sandwich!!

The seating area needs a thorough cleaning. You can see the dust on the cords and the lights hanging. The booths are dirty seats and wood. Service is great.
