What diners say — our read

Reviews here split hard: 18 five-star against 2 one-star, with little in between. How guests are treated tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.5 stars. After that, speed of service appears most often — 35% of the corpus, averaging 4.0.

5 stars is the modal score, given by 18 of the 23 reviewers who rated. 18 of 23 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower. Freshness and temperature shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 4.0.

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (90/100), 2 intermediate and 4 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That inspection was on June 24, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 42% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were food from approved source and cross-contamination.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Ravenous Pig is always a hit! I remember when they first opened years ago and it was tough getting a reservation. Their popularity has remained all these years later, and with good reason! The food is delicious, and service is on point. We had the snapper and pub burger. The snapper was perfectly cooked and the saffron sauce was delicious! The pub burger was good but the star of that meal was the truffle fries and homemade pickle. The fries were addictive and the pickle was so good, we got extras. 😋 I had a mocktail that was so good!! You can't go wrong at Ravenous Pig!

What a place to eat dinner! Excellent food. Excellent service. Great location and amazing vibe. Reuben was amazing. A must is garlic pull apart bread. Wow.

A delicious experience from every perspective! Each menu item is literally dripping with flavor while the presentation resembles a perfectly assembled peice of artwork - the house brewed beer is too good not to bring a crowler, or 3 home too! ( My favorite is the foxtail blonde ale - super light and refreshing! ) The service is so much better than any other place we’ve chosen for date night around the orlando/ winter park area, Anton specifically has made such an impact on our dinner experiences being so descriptive and knowledgeable on the ever changing menu items and the light humor he plays into each step of the meal truly makes the experience feel personable. Pairing all this with the fun yet classy ambiance the ravenous pig presents one of the most comfortable and unique dinner experiences you can find. If you haven’t yet, you have to try it out!!!

Waiter was VERY patient while i discussed my specific allergies... that alone earns him a metal! Amazing atmosphere, EXCELLENT service, and amazing food! Lamb loin is spot on!

I've eaten here a few times and the dessert never gets old! One of my favorite go-to entrees is the Steak and frites. It's definitely a must try if you are a steak lover. 5/5 service!

We went for our anniversary dinner and everything was amazing! Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, we loved the decorations, and the food was incredible. I got 2 gin cocktails and they were to die for. They even made us a custom menu that said “Happy Anniversary”. I visit Chicago and NYC annually and the Ravenous Pig reminds of the fine dining I get in those cities. It’s so nice to have a family owned restaurant like this that we can enjoy in Winter Park. After we left we called our friends and family to tell them about our amazing experience.

We came here for a surprise engagement party on 5/30/26, and while the food itself was great, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by our waitress. She was incredibly rude and demeaning, and made several people in our party feel unwelcome during what should have been a really special celebration. We completely understand that large parties can be stressful, but the way we were spoken to felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Example: “If you move one more time, you will not be allowed to do separate checks.” Our party had to adjust seats to accommodate one of our guests who is handicapped and needed to be on the end. This comment from our waitress made the guest feel embarrassed and ashamed for causing a disruption. It was disappointing because the restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food was genuinely enjoyable, but her service took away from the overall experience. I would consider coming back for the food, but I hope management addresses the service issue because no guest, especially during such a meaningful occasion, should be made to feel talked down to or ashamed.

Austin, the Sous Chef, is super helpful and knowledgeable. Traveled over an hour round-trip just to try the signature luscious, freshly made Mushroom & Gruyère Beignets with Truffle Aoili & pecorino. ($14). Boudin Beignets were the Sunday Brunch special Beignets today featuring Cajun Pork & Rice Sausage served over remoulade & scallions. ($14) Both of these delectable treats were absolutely scrumptious... Well worth the drive. Amazing!

I ordered the cod sandwich at the beer garden and genuinely thought I had been the victim of a sophisticated seafood-related prank. The size of the cod filet looked like it had been filleted from a moderately sized goldfish. Half the sandwich was fish. The other half was just me raw-dogging artisan bread and disappointment. I kept lifting the top bun looking for the rest of the cod like it had slipped out during transport. At one point I considered filing a missing persons report for the second half of the filet. To be clear, the cod that WAS there tasted good. But structurally, this sandwich was a bread conference with a brief guest appearance by seafood. I’m all for saving the oceans, but somebody in the kitchen needs to stop rationing cod like it’s wartime Britain.

I finally went for the first time recently, and I will definitely be going back again. I ordered a BLT from here, which didn’t disappoint, but it could’ve been layered just a bit better… super delicious though. Service was kinda deadpan… but it was quick. This place is all about the beers though! Huge fan of their stout.

My daughter took my wife and I here for dinner. Very nice atmosphere and they had an interesting menu. A nice change and the food was great.

  • May 17, 2026

Experience was good/fair. Used to be great. Hope they turn it around again. Best part of the meal was the drinks before dinner. Sadly it went downhill from there. Hostess was rude. Main course was undercooked pasta. Dinner took forever 2 plus hours. Manager gave us dessert and a sparkling wine to try and make it right at least…. May be a while before we try and go back. A shame….

Service! Indy was delightful. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, unobtrusive. The food was delicious. We chose the pimento cheese fries and wings for starters. Yum! For entrees, we loved our perfectly cooked pub burger and duck confit omelette. Beignets and coffee were a treat. It was a perfect brunch! The Ravenous Pig is an old favorite from back when it first opened. It’s gotten even better with age. I can’t wait to return.

The food was different and good, but expensive. $111 for two appetizers, two entrees and one dessert--no alcohol. The restaurant was so noisy I seriously considered going outside just to get a break from it. The server we had was not only slow, he disappeared for 25 minutes when we were waiting to see about desserts. Had another 20 minutes wait to get the check.I had to get one of the other servers to track him down twice.

The pork belly was absolutely delicious. The signature drink was delicious. My server who reminded me of Johnny Depp was a whole vibe. I tried the spareribs and the steak frites all delicious. Oh wait the oysters we had east and west coast was yummy. Food was hot and seasoned just right. FYI I shared with my brother. Everything was amazing even my window seat.

Popped in for a spontaneous dinner last night , we were beyond impressed. We started out with cocktails , I ordered the gin based drink , it was tangy with a hint of sweetness. My husband and I split a salad and steak frites . 100000/10 !! We hardly ever order dessert but we were so impressed by our meal that we ordered the chocolate mousse, it was such a nice ending to an amazing meal . Atmosphere is elevated yet relaxed. Service was excellent. We will be back :-)

Ahhh Ravenous Pig … our first date Aug 5, 2017 and we married April 2019. Since, this has been our celebration spot either for our 1st date our wedding anniversary. Enough with introduction LOL . By far this is our Michelin spot . Service , attention , food , presentation, taste it checks all the boxes. Don’t get me wrong we been at international Michelins restaurants but to us nothing compare to Ravenous, maybe cause was our 1st date. But is that good !!! Management and our server Suzi provided a memorable night . Appetizer soft Crab , Black pasta a hit , Snapper delicious and you can’t close the night without the pigtails for dessert . Did I miss anything ? lol

Made the trip up from Orlando near the airport with my son and I am so glad that we made the trip. What an amazing restaurant and dining experience. Our server Blanca was so attentive and took great care of us. I mentioned at the start of the meal how we were in town after partaking in a tournament up in Gainesville and Blanca brought us a complimentary dessert with a congratulatory message on the plate. Such a nice surprise and a great display of hospitality! We ordered the pork belly and bone marrow appetizers - both amazing and for our entree’s the Steak Frites and the Virginia Flounder. For dessert we ordered the Cheesecake (which was a deconstructed version) and we got their Panna Cotta with cookie crumble on the house - all very delicious. We cleaned our plates and left nothing behind.
