Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
57% of reviews here touch on service, more than any other theme. Where service comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.7, so it reads as a strength. Pacing is the next most common subject, in 22% of reviews (averaging 4.2).
The split is 20 positive to 1 negative across 23 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. Freshness shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 5.0. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (20 reviews).
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (94/100), 1 intermediate and 3 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. DBPR last walked in on February 11, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. That puts it ahead of 56% of graded kitchens in Orange County. The citations behind that grade include dishwashing facilities.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant I've been to in terms of the food alone. The service and atmosphere are great pluses. The waiters were always attentive and refilled drinks quickly. I'd recommend this place above any in Orlando.

Great sushi, one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The location is also pretty. The atmosphere and service are fantastic!

The lunch specials were excellent and atmosphere was delightful. We decided to have dessert. My husband had blueberry cheesecake. The presentation was with fresh fruit then I had bread pudding. Wow I have never seen such a impressive presentation Ever. The pudding came warm with a fancy cut strawberry with other strawberries, banana, blueberries, raspberry and papaya. The best desserts with excellent flavor. Just yummy. Such an unexpected dessert surprise. You are missing out if you don't try one of their unbelievable desserts.

The food at this restaurant was amazing! Me and my party found a wide selection of rolls and other dishes to choose from. The flavors were creative, and everything we had tasted delicious. Our server was very nice and helpful. There was a small mixup with our order, but it was very quickly taken care of. I highly recommend coming here for tasty meals.

Food and service were both great! Enjoyed the different flavors versus standard sushi.

Farah was our server. All servers in the world should be as wonderful as she was. Friendly, timing perfect. Give her a raise.

OUR GO TO SUSHI

Dish ordered: chef's choice sushi Drink: hot sake Good service, excellent quality, quick even when swamped and large selection. 4 years later I'm still coming here for the chef special and the crazy part, is gotten cheaper while staying high quality. Still my favorite sushi place

DON’T ORDER FROM HERE THEY STOLE FROM ME!!!! I tried ordering $60 worth of food via Uber eats from them. The wait time was increased by 25 minutes and I immediately canceled the order. Uber eats would not refund because the merchant already accepted the order, so Sakari was going to be given the payment regardless. I tried to resolve with Sakari instead. The manager promised me a gift card refund for the meal so that I could eat there in the future, considering they couldn’t refund me themselves even though they were getting the money from Uber Eats anyways. I called today to confirm their offer and instead the owner decided not to give me the food I already paid for and to take it up with my credit card company that will not give me my money back. Harking back on THEY STOLE FROM ME! Despite all of the hoops, I’ve had to go through for this large amount of food I never got to eat, the review is primarily due to the owners lack of empowerment to management to make decisions that are inherently unimportant in the grand scheme of things, reflecting a cheap nature/non-customer central approach to business; and in this day and age, that is pertinent to success. Definitely felt like a slap in the face, or to my wallet actually. No pictures with this review because I RECEIVED NOTHING!

Enjoyed a fantastic B-52 roll and some dry aged king salmon nigiri. Service from Erica was excellent.

I was in town visiting friends and we decided to stop in before a movie. Absolutely amazing experience. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Liz was our server and she was super patient with us and very friendly. If you go there definitely ask for her. She'll take care of you! Next time I'm in town Sakari is definitely a must.

Solid sushi option in a bustling area. The bites themselves were pretty good, too
