The most recent reviews here are worse than the older ones — 3.3 against 4.8. Service tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.8 stars. After that, pacing appears most often — 28% of the corpus, averaging 4.7.
A third strand, freshness, appears in 20% of them at 4.6 stars. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (19 reviews). 19 of 25 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower.
The kitchen graded a B (83/100) on 1 high-priority and 9 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. DBPR last walked in on February 23, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. That puts it ahead of 25% of graded kitchens in Orange County. The citations behind that grade include cross-contamination and dishwashing facilities.

Used to be great a couple of months ago but now the chicken is old EVERYTIME and the prices have increased
-
The reason for the 3 stars is that they shrunk the amount of food that comes in the banh-mi and increased the price by $1.65. I noticed that it got smaller and more expensive. That's a double whammy. I stopped going .I'm spending over $10 for a sandwich and I'm still hungry. That's a bad sign 😮. My wife also noticed and stopped going.

First time to try the bao buns and loved them. I had pork and my daughter had chicken. The sauces ars all fantastic. I also love the fried pork spring rolls. Our neighbors next door were Vietnamese and they always gave my husband and I 5 or 6 of those spring rolls. They were great friends but moved away. My husband was close to the man of the house named Ha.

The atmosphere in this place is amazing ! Music on Point and Jordan was so sweet right at the door. We enjoyed everything we ate today and will be coming back. We even signed up for the rewards program . I had the Pho with steak & brisket 🤤 Also got the summer rolls, Bao pork buns and a matcha. If your not interested in a loud chain restaurant , long waits and/or poor customer service, this this IS the spot for you 🫶🏽🖤

Their food was delicious 😋 good for a quick and easy meal. Menu very simple and the service was great. The only thing the place for dining is too small. But for sure recommend it 👍

My family and I have had a myriad of Viet food experiences- so my review is based on personal comparisons. The service and atmosphere is on point- food comes out quick. However, this is not the best tasting and could def use some improvements- bahn mi left my kids and I with an unpleasant tummy ache (we visited 5/23). My husband described his chicken bahn mi as if they took Costco chicken and shredded it into the sandwich- the taste was ok. Pho broth was also mediocre. I was considering to order Vietnamese coffee but noticed the coffee beans were a Cuban roast and didn’t see a phin- so I didn’t bother. If you’re looking for a hip spot with a quick bite- try it. Maybe your experience and taste is different than ours. But my family and I will not be returning.

Love coming to Viet Nomz. It’s my go-to for quick, easy, and genuinely healthy meals that still have great flavor. Everything is consistently fresh, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Perfect spot when you want something fast without sacrificing quality.

Great food and great service!

It was a decent sandwich, but I’ve had much better. Along with their fresh rolls as well. Kind of disappointing.

I had my first experience with Vietnamese food at Viet-Nomz, and I was honestly very impressed. I had never tried this type of cuisine before, so I didn’t really know what to expect — but it turned out to be a great surprise. The flavors are different from what I’m used to, but in a very enjoyable way. Everything felt fresh, well-balanced, and flavorful without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of food that makes you want to keep trying more. The place itself is casual and easygoing, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend, especially if you’re looking to try something new and step a little outside your usual routine.

Friendly staff, great ambiance, tasty food! Huge portions for the price and they run happy hour deals on appetizers. Also, they have delicious peanut sauce.

Kayla was so amazing and helpful with my food order. The pho is amazing. This place is 10/10

Smelt delicious the minute I walked in, greeted with a warm welcome from service. Has amazing decorations around inside.

Noodle bowls are served very quickly and the ingredients are fresh. The sauce options are nice and not heavy. The cold noodles make this dish feel more like a salad and less like a carb-loaded pasta dish. I tried the nuoc-nom sauce which is a fish sauce vinaigrette. Nuoc-nom was not fishy and it was just enough sauce to make the bowl feel healthy and not overwhelmingly saucey. After you have tried Viet-nomz pho, come back for the noodle bowls.

Update 2026. I have been ordering through Uber Eats for a while now. This is my go to place for delivery hands down. Tried some others. This is just my favorite place. Food is always great, order is accurate! Keep it up Viet Nomz!! You Rock 🎸🎸🥢🥢🍲🍲 👍👍 First review 2020 I 🤔 think. Took my brother in law here today because he loves Pho. This place was awesome! Great food and service! Will be back for sure!!!!
