FIG'S PRIME
The crowd and the inspector disagree about FIG'S PRIME, and it isn't close: 984 reviewers settle on 4.5 stars, while its latest health inspection lands at an F, 59/100.
That F comes from 2 high-priority, 5 intermediate, and 10 basic violations cited on June 17, 2026. It currently ranks safer than 3% of Seminole County restaurants we grade — close to the bottom of the county. And the direction isn't reassuring: its recent inspections have been sliding, not recovering. Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Popularity and sanitation part ways on this listing. Service tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.3 stars. After that, pacing appears most often — 21% of the corpus, averaging 3.4.
One subject never comes up here: how clean the place looks. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (19 reviews). Newer reviews score better than older ones (4.5 recent against 4.0 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average.
None of that is visible in a star rating: the most recent DBPR inspection graded this kitchen an F (59/100), citing 2 high-priority, 5 intermediate, and 10 basic violations. Diner sentiment and inspection result are measuring different things here, and only one of them is checked by the state. DBPR last walked in on June 17, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. On health score it sits safer than 3% of the Seminole County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include cross-contamination.
The practical read: people enjoy eating here, and the kitchen still failed its last inspection. Those are separate claims, and only the second one gets checked by anybody. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

This was our first visit to Figs Prime and our last. The service left a lot to be desired and the food was inedible. We asked the waiter at the begining what he recommended as this was our first visit. He didnt have an answer. We went ahead and ordered anyway. 10 minutes later he comes back and tries to explain the specials of the day, I advised him we had already ordered from him and it was a bit late now!! Anway we ordered the avocado crab stack and the flatbread. These were ok but nothing special there was very little crab in the avocado crab stack!! For our entrees we ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and the New Zealand Rack of Lamb. The Sea bass with risotto was marginal it was a very small of piece of fish which was overcooked. The Rack of Lamb was diabolical!! I asked for Medium rare. It came to me RAW. I couldnt even cut it it was so raw. The bones were cold so you could tell it wasnt cooked correctly. I sent it back and asked lto cancel the order. The manager Sheila came over and was not very friendly saying in 9 years she'd never had anything like this happen. I asked if it was a new chef, she said no the excutive chef was the owner. That did it for me as any chef that sends out food cold and raw should be fired. I did see some people enjoying their steaks so I guess they do know how to cook something. If they dont know how to cook lamb then take it off the menu. Sheila did not like it when we advised we would not come back mainly because of her attitude and untrained…

Beautiful restaurant! Our first time experience was wonderful and I can safely say we will certainly be back. Our server was amazing (sadly I don’t remember her name ) and treated my husband and son-in-law like they were kings celebrating Father’s Day. Everything about our evening was lovely….we weren’t rushed, but also not forgotten. The timing of our meal was perfect…I am already looking forward to going back

What an incredible experience! After living in Altamonte Springs for nearly 15 years, we finally visited Fig’s Prime for our anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, and the service from Christina and Nolan was exceptional. We loved learning the story behind this family-owned business. Thank you for making our anniversary so special, we can’t wait to come back!

First time going to Fig's. Amazing atmosphere, great food and the service out of this world. The Executive Chef Victor came to our table to introduce him self and made us feel like part of his family. Very inviting. We will definitely be coming back as a regulars. Thank your Victor and your professional restaurant staff for an extraordinary experience. And will definitely recomend.

Great food, and Franco was excellent. I truly can’t say more other than “eat here”

Franco was great! We had a fantastic Mother’s Day celebration!

Great restaurant. Elegant, casual atmosphere. The service was outstanding. The food was flavorful and delicious. Only critic is the octopus appetizer was too charred on the tail & my Chilean Sea Bass was smaller than expected for the price. Will definitely return.

It's a surprisingly cool venue in an office park. Appetizer courses were good and their fig Manhattan was nice. That being said - the Paella on the menu should be reconsidered or the chef should be taken on a culinary educational journey. Poor delivery in both flavor and consistency. Other entrees in our party did visually look appealing but I did not taste them.

Frank was the best waiter ever!!!!!

First time here tonight and it was amazing. The vibe was immaculate. It was a Friday night and was not crazy packed which was nice. Our server was Kat, she was awesome. Appetizer, food, and drinks was great. 10/10 will definitely be back 😊

This has become one of our favorite local spots and has become a regular rotation. Shayla and Gabby are wonderful and we look forward to seeing them every time we walk in the door!

Def one of the fav spots. Never disappoints. Almost always get the sea bass and it’s always done the way I ask. Wait staff always very attentive and friendly. Love the vibe. Great for date night or girls night out.

Fig's Prime was my first visit, and it absolutely makes a strong first impression. Located in Altamonte Springs, the exterior is grand, parking is easy, and when I arrived there were multiple parties happening at once. It immediately felt like a serious date-night spot—also perfect for client dinners, birthdays, or celebratory gatherings. I went with a group of eight, and across the board, the steaks were the undeniable stars of the night. I got to admire a prime rib, filet mignon, and New York strip at the table—and every single one was cooked perfectly. I ordered the special: a 10 oz filet topped with three jumbo shrimp in a lobster cream sauce, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet itself? Perfect medium rare, exactly as requested. Seasoning was balanced and not overly salty (which is something I often run into elsewhere). The steak alone was excellent. The lobster cream sauce, however, was just okay for me. This is subjective, but I felt it leaned a little too creamy and slightly muted the savory depth of the steak. Personally, I would’ve preferred something brighter like a chimichurri—or if going the lobster route, perhaps a full lobster tail instead of shrimp to really justify the pairing. The shrimp were fine, but they felt like they were competing with what could have been. The asparagus was my only real food gripe—it was small and limp. Properly cooked, thicker asparagus can be vibrant green with a soft crunch. This missed that mark. We started with…

I visited Figs Prime just 30 minutes before closing, hoping to enjoy a nice meal. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the manager informed us that they had decided to turn off the kitchen early because it’s a family-owned business. While I understand the challenges of running a restaurant, I was disappointed by the lack of service, especially since we arrived well before closing time. To make matters worse, as we were leaving, the manager made a comment, saying, "bye," which felt unprofessional and dismissive. It left a sour taste in my mouth. I expected better service and consideration. I won’t be returning.

Had high hopes , Ordered steak medium rare and was ultra rare inside and barely seared exterior. Both restrooms inundated by employees and very rough for what is supposed to be a higher end restaurant. Very rough. The salmon was about as basic as you would get anywhere and had some 4 tier fancy name on menu . What a joke thst was 😅. Place was 3 out of 5 at best And this my friend is an honest review as they come!!

Steaks were cooked correctly, but seasoning & char were uneven. Service left a lot to be desired. Arrived 3 min before reservation. Host & server discussed what to do with us as if we weren’t in front of them. Server was snappy, and barely stood at the table long enough to hear our order.

Had an amazing Birthday steak!

Super cute place! Great ambiance! Food was delightful and they were so great with service! Definitely would return!
