Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Reviews here split hard: 8 five-star against 7 one-star, with little in between. Service cuts both ways here, averaging 3.1 among the reviews that raise it. Whether it is worth the money is the next most common subject, in 30% of reviews (averaging 3.0).
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (8 reviews). Older reviews score better than newer ones (3.0 recent against 3.7 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average. One subject never comes up here: how long an order takes.
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a B (80/100) with 1 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 9 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. DBPR last walked in on April 20, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. That puts it ahead of 32% of graded kitchens in Lake County. The citations behind that grade include handwashing and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. Everything above is computed from the 20 reviews reproduced below.

Hey, so Age discrimination isnt cool. Your management should be embarrassed. The Hiring manager for servers should be fired.

The food was inedible. The fried mozzarella appetizer was incredibly greasy and the cheese itself tasted like it suffered from freezer burn. The burger bites were incredibly dry and cold. The boneless chicken wings tasted like some generic brand from the freezer aisle at the grocery store. The mac & cheese was very watery. I ordered the cookie skillet, but unfortunately they ran out, but I was still charged for it. Good thing I caught it. The server was good and none of this was his fault, but the food was simply gross. We will never go back.

Not worth leaving a tip for to go orders. 5 people walked past me and no one came to see what I needed. Went to the host stand, went to the bar, went to the To go area…. Very awkward.

The service is was questionable today. I get it, I used to run a restaurant. I’m not on here to talk about this place, but to talk about that one host boy with dark curly hair. (never caught his name) The restaurant was a full house at one point. It looked like 40 people came in all at once. I went to the bathroom a few times and passed by, and all I saw was him absolutely rocking it. He’s the type person I would love to have working with me. (Back when I still ran the restaurant) Whatever he’s getting paid, it’s not enough. He was very kind to me and my family, so please thank him for me. Also, bring back the White queso!!!!

This was our favorite restaurant, unfortunately I’ve given Chili’s multiple chances over the past year, but unfortunately, this last experience was the final straw. I placed an order for pickup, and when I arrived, I was told the food wasn’t ready because it was still frozen. There was no real effort to be helpful beyond that explanation. When the order was finally finished, it was simply placed on the counter, and I was told “it’s ready” with no apology for the delay or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. When I got home, it was clear the food had been rushed. The steak was tough and lacked flavor, and the guacamole was disappointing—while it looked fine on the surface, it had noticeable brown spots throughout, making it seem far from fresh. This marks the third disappointing experience in a row over the past year, and at this point, I won’t be returning.

I am shocked that this place will allow for parents with their kids to sit at the bar at 6pm on a Friday night, consuming seats for alcohol paying customers.

John McEW needs to stop letting go of valuable employees. I usually love my experience here, especially when I have Chris as a server, but as I’ve come to find out on my most recent outing, Chris has been released from the company over false accusations; ever since, nothing has felt the same. It is clear that this establishment doesn’t care for quality, not in the food taste and definitely not in the staffing. Managers who value profit over people and view their workforce as machines should resign entirely. They only sully the experience for everyone.

Our server Anthony was amazing! Ran our services exceptionally well while dealing with other obnoxious guests. To deal with something out of the ordinary while attending the rest of us was amazing all on its own. We will definitely return thank you Anthony!

I am writing this review to formally express my serious concern regarding the conduct and professionalism of the General Manager at the Chili’s location under the leadership of Mr. John McEwan. Based on credible firsthand information provided to me by a long‑standing and consistently trustworthy employee, I am deeply troubled by how a recent personnel matter was handled. The situation involved a server who was terminated off the clock following an alleged interaction with a group of teenage guests who, by all accounts, did not intend to pay for their meal and requested complimentary items. From what I understand, the server attempted to accommodate the situation by offering limited, low‑value items in good faith. Despite this, the customers later claimed they were made uncomfortable. Rather than conducting a fair, professional, and thorough review of the circumstances, Mr. McEwan reportedly terminated the employee immediately—while the individual was not on the clock—and without affording them any reasonable opportunity to explain or defend their actions. The explanation cited was concern for “corporate image.” In my opinion, the handling of this matter raises significant concerns about management judgment and leadership standards. A manager who acts unilaterally without due process, particularly in a situation involving conflicting accounts, undermines both employee morale and the integrity of the workplace. If corporate image is indeed a priority, then the conduct of…
