Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Recent visits are landing softer than earlier ones did. Opinion on front-of-house is split — those reviews land at 3.1 on average. Wait times is the next most common subject, in 35% of reviews (averaging 3.3).
The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (11 of 20). The split is 14 positive to 6 negative across 20 rated reviews. How food arrives shows up in 15% of reviews as well, averaging 3.7.
The kitchen graded a B (88/100) on 1 high-priority and 4 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. The visit behind that grade was January 13, 2026. Ranked against Lake County, it is safer than 53% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Absolute worst service. The employees were extremely slow and look like they hate their jobs and hate you. If you hate your job quit. Sat in curbside pick up for almost 20 minutes before getting frustrated and walking into find them casually still putting our order together as slow as possible. These were poor standards even for McDonald’s that already has poor standards.

The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced! I walked in tonight 5 minutes til 9, after driving through the drive-thru to pick up my online order, which the rude window lady told me I had to walk in to pick up, even though my receipt clearly stated drive-thru or curb side. I was not acknowledged for at least 2-3 minutes, but only because another rude employee was bringing someone else's order to the carry out window. I grabbed her attention to inquire about my order, she reported my missing order to the "manager or QA " woman, who just grunted rudely that I took too long to show up.... (legitimately ordered less than 7 minutes prior). Took no care in my order, essentially placed it on the counter for me, didn't apologize or ask if I needed anything else... just carelessly walked away. Ok. Thanks. Have a great night! Wonderful service, can't wait to come back! High five team!

I just have to say that Josh is incredible. It’s been my third or forth time getting food at night and each time he’s been beyond kind, so well mannered, and has a great personality!! It’s people like him that make you want to get fast food and actually enjoy it!!!! He’s doing an awesome job, truly deserves recognition. Thank you Josh for the way you treat others!

We did curbside pickup. The burgers and fries were hot and still good by the time we reached home. Service was fairly quick curbside even though I had accidentally indicated I would do drive through.

They were busy but kept the line moving!!

I came in at 5:09. I asked for service. I've been saying hello. Hello, nobody went to the counter. So once I got to the counter, I asked, can somebody help me? The lady was like, oh, I'm sorry you need to go through the drive through. Cause I have no cash. Continue for 22 miles is register. Very rude lady, she has red hair very rude, very unprofessional. I ordered food, but then yet. I don't think I'm gonna eat it because I don't know if she spit on it or not. Because she had an attitude that something was up her body, and I think that she needs to be removed or she needs to have a manager talk to her.Because that was one of the rudest restaurants.I've been driving four and a half hours for me to stop at mcdonald's and get the rudeness for that, just keep going driving.Where I need to go

Janelle is a ROCK STAR! She ran the drive thru soo smoothly & was very courteous!

I wish McDonald’s would simply end their dine-in model altogether, because I would have the exact same experience eating food out of a vending machine in an IKEA showroom. The food was honestly as expected; fries were a little old and almost no salt, but order was accurate. Design of the store has intentionally separated Customers from Employees, so you will feel like an unwelcome Guest burdening Staff at the smallest request for assistance, or a con artist siphoning billions from the corporation by way of an extra sauce packet. I know there must be Customer Satisfaction Surveys somewhere, completed by those at the outward most ends of the introvert spectrum, telling them this was all a desired ordering and dining experience, but have we gone too far? Help yourself to a napkin or a straw, but anything else (including drink machines removed from the front as well) is a luxury McDonald’s can no longer afford its Customers.

“The service was fast, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. My order came exactly as requested, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely one of the best McDonald’s experiences I’ve had. Thank you!”

Given a number for my table but food was never delivered, had to go to the counter to get it. No one was at the counter when I arrived. Waited to ask for ketchup, the girl seemed annoyed that I asked. Food was poor. Fries were cold and old
-
Food especially fries are always hot and fresh.
-
Sometimes they get the order wrong. Check your bags before you leave the drive thru. Friendly service.
-
Ty for your service, Lobby open late. The one just west of here doesnt and will kick you out in the middle of ordering even when the door was open
