Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The reviews here disagree with each other more than they disagree with the grade. Service tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.7 stars. After that, tidiness appears most often — 33% of the corpus, averaging 3.5.
One subject never comes up here: freshness. The split is 16 positive to 2 negative across 20 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (15 reviews).
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a B (82/100) with 2 high-priority and 2 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. DBPR last walked in on March 13, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 21% of the Brevard County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include cross-contamination and single-service and single-use items.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Everything above is computed from the 21 reviews reproduced below.

The room was filthy and they wouldn't give us another room. We went to the store, bought cleaning supplies and new bed sheets, cleaned the room and barely got any sleep. Luckily no bed bugs this time. We threw the sheets away and will never go back. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!

This was the nicest La Quinta we've been to, and we've been to plenty! We stayed for father's day weekend, and what a gorgeous view. We chose the oceanside view and are glad we did - you can open the curtains and watch the sunrise from the comfort of your bed. Steps from the beach and Cocoa Beach Pier, beautiful outdoor seating for a delicious and abundant breakfast bar, with a kind and welcoming staff - perfection. 🤌 When we come back, we'll stay here. You should, too!

We took a quick anniversary getaway. We booked an ocean view room with a balcony. The room was clean and the view of the beach was amazing. We walked down to the beach and were able to watch the sunrise and see a SpaceX rocket launch. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast attendant was the sweetest and most attentive lady who made us feel right at home. The pool was clean and they even have a poolside bar. You can walk right out to the beach from pool area which is so convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

The manager, Shayne Berry, was out with a cleaning cart checking empty rooms. Amazing seeing a Manager this involved. The staff here are outgoing, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The lady bar tender at the pool is exceptional. While she is working making drinks and small talk she has an eye on the pool for everyone's Safety. This crew goes above and beyond guest services. They follow their Manager's Lead. Best location to stay as well. On the Beach and next to the Pier.

Great service at this hotel. We were very pleased.

This was one of the best managed hotels we’ve been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Manager was awesome and always present. We enjoyed our room - it was clean, had extra pillows, and had a great view over the beach and ocean. Our kids loved the pool. We will be back.

4th floor ocean view is well worth the trip up/down on stairs or elevator.

Great location, staff ROCKS, and you cannot beat the location. Everything you will need is pretty much within walking location, and if you do need to drive, nothing is far.
-
Very clean, all you need for a stay, right at the beach. Laundry available.

I thought this was going to be better. Dated hotel, pretty terrible breakfast, the pier looks like it's quiet delapidated and will fall apart. I would not go back

Stayed at the hotel this past weekend. Got 2 rooms for 2 nights for 6 people. The rooms were very clean and the view was amazing. The only issue we had was from the bartender, “Martha” kept picking on our kids. She told my 8 year old he couldn’t hold on to the rail in the pool because he could pull it out of the ground. My husband was sitting there and explained to her that my 8 year old shouldn’t have enough strength to break their hand rail at their pool. Later we let our 16 year old take our 8 year old to the pool and she continued to harass them and said they needed an 18 year old with them. An older gentleman at the pool said he’d keep an eye on them, but Martha said that wouldn’t be good enough, she knew he wasn’t with us. After she kicked the kids out the pool and threatened them with management, our 18 year old went down with them and Martha continued to ask our 18 year old if she was really 18. I know Martha’s job is to be a pool bartender and her main concern is getting adults drunk, but our kids were trying to enjoy their vacation they get once a year. I told the front desk, and while they agreed with me and weren’t aware of any of Martha’s new pool rules, we were told nothing would be done if we complained to a manager because she’s been there for years and “That’s just Martha”.. However some of the people around the pool were talking with us and agreed they felt Martha was really rude to our family. Ahhh well “That’s just Martha”

My husband and I had an amazing time celebrating our one year wedding anniversary! This hotel is literally on the beach. I love that you can walk right from the pool to the beach and back. Also, we met an amazing member of the hotel staff, Matt! He was so courteous and friendly! We enjoyed seeing him each morning at breakfast! We are already planning a trip back!
-
Overall an amazing stay and hotel, amazing oceanfront views, but I would specifically return back with my entire family just to meet Mr. Matt who happens to prep the breakfast every morning with a smile, he makes everyone feels welcome. He also does maintenance at the hotel and so much more. He’s absolutely an amazing guy, everyone must meet him‼️
-
What a view. Before you get there be prepared to pay for parking at the hotel parking lot

The hotel is right on the beach but it's pretty old and in dire need of repairs. Our room 207 had quite a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling where the vent used to be and the room smelled very musty and molded. We kept our balcony door open the whole time while I'm our room or I would cough really bad, so if you have a mold allergy, this place isn't for you. I informed the front desk before we left of the mold.
