Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The 4.5-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. Where the staff comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.4, so it reads as a strength.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 18 of 23. What nobody raises here is tidiness — it goes unmentioned across all 23 reviews. 20 of 23 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower.
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a C (75/100) with 2 high-priority, 2 intermediate, and 3 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. That result dates from February 24, 2026. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 20% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: cross-contamination.
The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Best meatball sub I've ever had! Better than a pubsub. They were so friendly too. Definitely coming back!
-
Amazing food and service. The wait staff was kind and attentive.
-
The pizza was delicious, however if you order over the telephone you are not speaking with a human, it is AI, I disliked ordering through AI, I prefer human interactions because I'm not a robot 🤖

The pizza was really good and came out piping hot. Would definitely visit again!

We ordered delivery. The delivery driver was great, even offered to bring the food up to the room. We got a supreme pizza and meatball sub. Both were amazing, flavorful and filling. Great choice and will definitely order again!

Request Allie (I am not sure if I am spelling that right - our ticket said Alyssa L but she introduced herself as Allie) if you can! We came to eat here last week while on vacation and there were 11 of us. Allie was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable and that our orders were correct. It was even her birthday I believe! We told her the pizza was the best we ever had and she reported our compliment back to the cooks. We asked her to take a photo for us and she did (I'm not posting it because we have children). She did not charge the automatic gratuity we read about online because we split our tickets and she said it's not fair for those in the group with smaller orders and we really appreciated that. My kids loved the pizza so much that they asked us to pick up a pizza before we flew back home over the weekend. They were extremely busy but still treated us kindly and our pizza was fresh when we got it. We will definitely be returning when we come back to Daytona in October!!

I dined in this morning & I don't understand the bad review. It looks like it was written by chat GPT. The server was really nice and when I asked about the claim of to-go orders not being allowed to be eaten in the dining room she explained that rule was made because those customers usually leave messes and take space from dine in customers. She was very professional and didn't say anything about them not tipping but I imagine that is part of the issue, as that is how servers make their money. She recommended the gyro lunch special and it turned out to be a great recommendation. The owners had their kids there and everyone was really friendly and respectful. I just don't like to see minority-owned small businesses negatively impacted by others that apparently will never be happy.

Dear [Restaurant Management/Owner's Name, if known, otherwise use a general address like "Customer Relations Team"], I am writing to formally address a deeply concerning incident that occurred during my recent visit to your establishment on [Date of visit, if known] at approximately [Time, if known]. I placed a substantial order totaling $80 for various items, including wings and pizza, which was intended to be a family meal for myself and my children. Upon receiving our "to-go" order, we proceeded to locate a table with the intention of consuming our meal on your premises. However, we were promptly informed by a staff member that, due to the nature of our "to-go" purchase, we were not permitted to dine in. This policy was relayed as originating directly from the owner. What followed was particularly distressing and led to significant discomfort. Immediately after our interaction, we observed several other families entering your establishment. Notably, these families, who appeared to be Caucasian or biracial, were personally greeted by the owner. He not only facilitated their seating but also directly brought their food orders to their tables. This occurred despite these families having placed their orders after ours. The stark contrast in service, coupled with the lack of any greeting or acknowledgment from the owner towards my family, created a strong impression of unequal treatment. This experience was profoundly unsettling, especially as it occurred during a family…

We are here from out of town and decided to check this place out. Everything was good. Staff was nice. They had a little power outage but they recovered well.

It was ok. Nothing too special.

Walking in, I couldn't have imagined that I would have had such an amazing time here! The service was lovely, and the food was top-notch! The prices were super reasonable, too :) I will definitely go back if I find myself in Daytona in the future ❤️

We ordered the supreme, it was perfect! Hot, cheesy great sauce and toppings. Just note their large is what most consider a medium. Other then that! Great pizza

We had a great experience. Alyssa was an awesome server. Personable, attentive and kind. She made our experience wonderful. Made us feel right at home. Food was great! Would recommend.
-
We ordered two calzones and kids chicken tenders. Alyssa was really attentive despite the restaurant being busy and even took time to interact with my babies. The cooks did a great job with our food and we left full and happy.
