Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Sorted by date, these 25 reviews trend upward. Where service comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.3, so it reads as a strength. Tidiness is the next most common subject, in 32% of reviews (averaging 4.4).
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (17 reviews). Of the 21 rated reviews, 17 sit at four stars or better and 3 at two or below.
The kitchen graded a C (74/100) on 2 high-priority, 2 intermediate, and 4 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. DBPR last walked in on January 5, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is upward over the records we hold. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 18% of the restaurants we score. The citations behind that grade include food from approved source.
Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. Everything above is computed from the 25 reviews reproduced below.

I had a wonderful time! Everything was perfection! The staff was so kind and welcoming! Specifically I met a very kind and nice lady named Virginia! The first thing she did when she saw me was tell me good Morning and we had a nice conversation! She is one of the most kindest people I have ever met! Also I enjoyed the pool and I loved that we were so close to the beach it was awesome! The food the view the room everything was perfect! The beds are incredibly comfortable! Everything here is a 10/10! I highly recommend

This a great place to stay it's on the beach with a great view and a tiki bar. If you order food from the tiki bar it might take a little while. Maybe if they had walkie talkies to communicate with the kitchen things might be a little better. It's not a deal breaker though. Everybody from the front desk to housekeeping to the tiki bar are great!!! Will definitely stay there when I got back to Daytona!!

Overall a great hotel and comfortable it’s a little slight bit farther away from the main attractions but not too bad if you have a car or willing to walk a little extra. Nothing super fancy but not cheap either and worth the price. Definitely recommend!

The beachfront hotel was clean. The view from the room/balcony was Amazing! Some updates could be beneficial. The hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast had waffles, oatmeal and/or grits, bagels, muffins, apples, bananas, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, eggs and meat.

Great hotel! Though there is a rip current to the left of the hotel.

The Hampton Inn at Daytona Beach was the perfect stay for our competitive drone team. Reservations were made with our best interests in mind. The rooms were clean, breakfast had something for everyone, the staff was extremely courteous and the folks at Longboards restaurant were friendly and helpful. With a location right on the beach, we discovered this was a special place where customer service, professionalism and integrity are paramount to the way business is done. You won’t regret your stay here!

We are a couple who loves the beach, the sun, and tranquility—and that is exactly what we found at this hotel in Daytona Beach. People like Virginia—who provided magnificent service during breakfast—and Ricardo, the Dominican, who serves as a true example of a passion for his work and for doing things right... simply incredible people. Our sincere congratulations to them; people like them are what make a vacation truly enjoyable.

Everything about this Hotel is ok except for the air conditioning. It does not keep the room cool in the middle of the day.

Wow! Amy Buddeymeyer did an absolutely phenomenal taking care of our entire group. She was communicative, friendly and made sure our group got the best treatment from check in to check out. The hotel is clean, right next to the beach and has a great free breakfast. If you want to book a large group on the beach in Daytona call the Hampton inn Daytona beach front and ask for Amy!

Stayed at this hotel again this year for a recurring conference held about a mile down the road. We specifically chose it for the pool and tiki restaurant amenities, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We had ongoing issues getting basic service for our room. Despite multiple requests, it was difficult to get essentials like towels and toilet paper. We even made a formal request for full housekeeping service, but our room was never properly cleaned during our stay. At one point, we had to purchase our own broom just to keep the room manageable. Additionally, the staff was not accommodating and often came across as unhappy or disengaged, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Positive: I love the fact I was able to wake up looking at the beach right from our room Negative: Everything was really good even the breakfast

I will be filing a formal complant against 3 hotel managers here, but let me state that nothing I do by filing will compare to what God will do to this kind of evil for hitting me while I was down.... I called Wed, day prior to Thurs. arrival to ask if I could get a room that hadnt recently had a dog since I have pet allergies. The lady manager said...Yes, I have a room that hasnt had a dog in it and she made it sound as if the room was clean not currently occupied. For this reason next day when I arrived 12noon and stood in line behind all checkins being given their rooms, I was taken back when I was told my room wasnt ready yet and would be texted when it was ready. when I mentioned to the desk lady that I called day before ...I hear this loud mouth lady scream from the back office ..NO I NEVER TOLD YOU THAT and she proceded to argue with me ... Strange, as the most hospitable people we find work in the hotel industry, but this lady now yelling at me was not one of them. So i waited an hour watching all other check in's get their rooms...At this point I inquired and again my room wasnt ready so I left to get get lunch and arrived back at 3pm. Still confused that room wasnt ready I asked if I could see the room prior to checking in. Another lady manager took me up, but said room might still not be clean yet....When we get to the room this lady is now speaking rudely to housekeeping lady about the room? She opens the door. The room is clean, ready and I tell her, good can I…
