Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Read these 22 reviews next to the inspection report and they tell the same story from two directions. Service tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.0 stars. After that, tidiness appears most often — 36% of the corpus, averaging 3.8.
Older reviews score better than newer ones (3.7 recent against 4.7 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (13 reviews). A third strand, how long an order takes, appears in 27% of them at 2.7 stars.
Set against that, the state's own inspection graded the kitchen a D (69/100), with 3 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 4 basic violations recorded. Reviews describe the meal; the grade describes the conditions it was made in. DBPR last walked in on February 11, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. That puts it ahead of 12% of graded kitchens in Volusia County. The citations behind that grade include cross-contamination.
What to do with that is a judgement call — the reviews describe the experience, the grade describes the conditions behind it. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

Restful. Beautiful spot. Rooms clean and quiet.

Unless you like living in a cave do not book a one bedroom suite.. it has no outside windows..just one that looks out to a busy hallway. And its a lockout to the room next door where you hear their noise.. location on the brach is excellent

We arrived on a Saturday night and there were 2 elevators out of service for the tower we were in. It took us 45 mins to get up to our room for the first time. That was not the only time that happened. We stayed for 5 days. The room was a little grimy. The jacuzzi tub was absolutely gross. There was mold in and around the jet, there for it was not usable. The carpet was just matted down and looked very dingy. The pictures online were not of the hotel now. It is not well kept up in the pool area either. The kiddy area smelled of pee. I was worried about being barefoot. Probably would not stay here again.

When we first checked in, we were informed only 1 parking spot was allowed (after spending nearly $3k for a 1 week stay, but it slept 8 people so we went with another family to share costs). In order to park our second vehicle, a separate parking deck could be found across the street and would cost nearly $300!! The front desk employee reassured us employees down the hall could help us with this issue when we got our wristbands from them. We were offered the cost our second parking spot to be covered if we attended a 90 minute time share class the next morning. To insure we attended, they charged my card the $286 for the parking garage across the street, that would be reimbursed after attending the class. We told the employees at the time share class we were only attending so the parking fee could be reimbursed. They tried their best to get us to sign up for the time share, but as soon as that 90 minutes was up, we were done and expected our reimbursement of $286. We were only ever reimbursed $250. So they ended up getting $36 off of us (at the point it was whatever). Back to the evening of check in, the employee asked if we knew where their parking was, I said no, she pointed across the road to the separate parking deck. We proceeded to take car #1 to this parking deck (car #2 would be arriving the next morning). We parked in the paid parking deck, brought some luggage across to the hotel and began looking for our room. Only to find out we were in the WRONG tower! We had no…

Room was amazing. Except they did a very poor job cleaning before our stay. Also had the AC turn off every day. Service was OK. There is the normal hotel staff and then the Wyndham group. The hotel staff kept sending up to the Wyndham group then had to see the Hotel staff. Huge joke. It was like they resented each other and put the customer in the middle.

Awesome resort! Really enjoyed the pools and especially the activities. Never a dull time! Shout out to Ellen in activities who was so pleasant throughout the visit. She is so helpful.

THIS IS A TOURIST TRAP. DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN IF A TRAVEL AGENT TOLD YOU TO. So, my family decided to go to Daytona beach for a week. When we went in here, we had to wait over 2 hours to get our room cleaned. Yet, the toilets are half broken, the shower was disgusting, one of our other rooms had a full-fist hole in a TV, etc. Also, the amount of people jamming up the elevator causing it to stop at every single floor is so stupid. This place is too overrated.

Fun place for vacation. Close to the outlet mall, right on the beach ⛱️.

So Myself, my daughter and her 4 children stayed in room 1107 for 6 days Our check in date was July 8th and check out was July 14th Upon entering the room we noticed there was hardly any dishes and silverware and there was a lot of dust on the fixtures After walking on the floor barefoot for about an hour my feet were black so I mopped the floor with a hand towel Since there was no mop When we went to bed the mattresses were hard as a rock When we checked out I stripped the beds washed all the towels and folded them and stacked them neatly on the towel rack I also wiped all the counters off and made sure everything was neat and in order Well my daughter wrote a review about the lack of dishes and silverware and how hard the beds were so I guess that bothered whoever manages that particular unit so they gave her a bad review and rated the cleanliness at a 1 Upon our checkout That's straight lies because first of all We would never leave a dirty unit and We have stayed at Ocean Walk at least 5 times and all of those times our cleanliness has been a 5 star Do better and spend a few dollars for at least mattress top covers and get out of your feelings about a truthful review

This is a lovely resort in the center of Daytona Beach. It's right on the ocean, near the boardwalk and Convention Center. The rooms have recently been remodeled. It's one of our favorite places to visit.

Why go anywhere else. Multiple pools and a tiki bar. Surrounded by restaurants and bars and 2 blocks from Main street.

We have gone here for 2 years in a row and are planning a 3rd. We absolutely love it there. The hotel is so clean, yes, the rooms are a little outdated, but nothing too awful. They are clean and who really stays in the room the whole time anyway? Love the washer/dryer in the unit. Love the views. Love that everyone who works there is so beyond happy and friendly and is so helpful. When I requested more toilet paper, dish soap, etc they had it in the room within 5 minutes. The resort has so much to offer as far as activities for everyone. The pools are amazing and so clean. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Daytona. It's also so close to everything you dont even need to drive.

Fun place to stay and easy walk down to the beach. There's 2 outdoor pools and 2 indoor ones with a slide in one pool. There's a lazy river but it's small and mostly filled with children. They have a few hot tubs too. There's even a little bar outside by the pools. Plenty of things to do in the resort and even an area where all the shops are that's ready to walk to. Everything was great except the parking situation. If you have a 2 bedroom or smaller you're only allowed to park one car on their lot. Any additional cars have to park off site and the parking garage across the street is $30 per day plus additional fees. I would think this resort would work with the parking garage to get discounts for their patrons or at least the people who own condos there. Having people pay $105 for 2 days, 17 hours is absurd. There's no where else to park unless you park far away and walk you're bags to the resort. Although I'm not sure there was cheaper parking anywhere

My friends and I stayed at the Club Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort this past week (June 6-13) and we loved the location. Lots of activities and restaurants within walking distance. Tons of gentleman's clubs, pizza places, and liquor, if that's your thing. The pool area has a bar and two large pools as well as a lazy river and waterslide. I didn't go in the lazy river as it looked a bit murky to me. The atmosphere is that of 'Spring Break,' noisy and crowded. Also, the elevators leave something to be desired. It can be very difficult at times to get an elevator. The beds at the resort were very comfortable. The carpet and floor appeared clean, but the couch in our room had brown stains on it, the whirlpool tub had pink and black looking mold around the jets, the shower also had some pink and black mold. The Spare room bathtub was holding water and the actual shower temp seemed to have only one temperature, scalding, but we did call and have the cartridge for the shower changed out so the temp was more easily modified, and they took care of the standing water. Our dishwasher smelled like burning plastic at one point and did not properly eject the cleaning pods. The paint on the balcony railing kept coming off on my skin, which I didn't love. The last night I was there I couldn't sleep because someone was playing loud noise until after 2am.

This place is fantastic! Nice rooms with gorgeous ocean views. 2 large outdoor pools, 2 large outdoor hot tubs, a lazy river and an indoor pool. Tiki bar that serves wonderful virgin drinks, I'm sure the regular are fantastic too. They also serve food. There is some type of entertainment every day poolside. Free Popsicles poolside daily. Entertainment indoors as well. Location can't be beat, you're literally on the boardwalk, bandshell is right outside offering free concerts on Saturday nights. So many shops and restaurants nearby, you don't have to drive anywhere if you don't want to. The beach is clean, the staff is fantastic, the amenities are outstanding. Definitely recommend. Smoking section is by the tiki bar if anyone is a smoker.

We had an ocean view condo. Lots of fun activities in and around the resort for families or couples to do.

Will definitely stay here again. They are very family friendly. Or a great place for a couples getaway. Have activities scheduled on a board when you arrive. Right on the beach with two pools, lazy river, hot tub, kids area and water slide. Within walking distance to several shops and dining options. And a short/moderate walk to the pier. Room was very clean, cozy and up to date. Beautiful ocean view room with balcony.

Lucked into a 4 bedroom Presidential at the last minute. Very spacious, great ocean views. Balcony small compared to some of the newer properties, but still had a patio table for 4 and 2 loungers. Large pool deck, 2 pools, a lazy river and a kids area. Lots of activities and Club sponsored events like ice cream, popsicles, music and a suds party for the kids one night (that we were there). Easy access to the beach. There is a company that offers beach setups in front of the resort. $50 for 2 loungers, an umbrella and a patio table all-day rental. Parking is tight, but we always easily found a spot. Staff were friendly, pleasant and extremely helpful. Even with the "complicated" coffee maker. lol

Been wanting to stay here, decided to stay for a few days and was not disappointed.

Definitely need to do better at the front desk. After a 10 hour drive, it would be nice to be greeted with a welcoming smile instead of no smile and an attitude. I understand hospitality can be tough but paying thousands to stay at a hotel should afford you some level of service. Asked if we could check in early, told “no. your room isn’t ready” “we will text you when it is”. Well, after sitting around for 3 hours in the lobby waiting for that text, it was now 4:00pm which is check in time. I was told by the next service desk member that our room has been ready and he wasn’t sure why weren’t notified. This started off our stay on the wrong foot and sadly soured the mood on this resort. However, the room was very nice, well appointed, comfortable and clean. 2bd/2ba/full kitchen. Ocean view and city view from both decks. Lots of daily events at the resort, free ice cream, crafts, games, foam parties, karaoke etc. Great location in Daytona! Great access to beach, restaurants and attractions. I had such high hopes for this resort but sadly the first impression kind of ruined it for us and likely won’t return. Wyndham needs to do better with hiring the right people for the right positions because this could have been a solid 5 star review.
