Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The 4.4-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. Where the staff comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.1, so it reads as a strength.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 15 of 22. 20 of 22 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower.
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a B (87/100) with 1 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 2 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. That result dates from April 3, 2026. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 42% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: clean clothes and insects/rodents/pests.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Very busy place, yet the staff was friendly and quick. They have decent food at decent prices. Very nice overall experience

Only been this one time and I was completely and totally not only impressed but thoroughly happy with my overall experience eating here. I ordered the special burger for that day posted on the chalk board passed on the way I to the restaurant. Great quality and the freshness of my order was delicious. I only ordered with a water and regular cut fries and ate every single bite.

I am writing to share that I had a great experience at your restaurant today. The food was prepared very well, and I found the interior to be clean and well-organized. Additionally, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the various choices available on the menu. I will definitely visit your restaurant again the next time I am in the area.

Servers were amazing and fast with service. We had the prime rib, and a burger. I asked for the prime rib to be cooked medium. But it was pretty raw midway through eating it. My husband asked for his burger to be well done but it was also raw. Wasn’t what we were expecting. Glad we gave it a try but would not return here.

Great experience with a classic old-school diner feel and a solid menu selection. Prices are reasonable, and it has a welcoming, family-owned vibe, though it can get quite busy on weekends. I really enjoyed the #7 combo with pancakes, eggs, and bacon plus the chicken tenders. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is fantastic!!! We're out of state on a vacation. Joanne was our waitress. She was constantly on the move to keep everyone served. Their mashed potatoes are divine!!! I highly recommend them and this place!!!!

The food is Fantastic. Fresh and HOT!!! The service is great. If you’re looking for a place that is non-pretentious this is the place. The servers are great no smoke up your butt giving it to you straight. our server was the reason why we kept coming back. She gave great suggestions for food items and if it wasn’t good she’ll let you know. We will be back when we visit Daytona Beach‼️

The only complaint I have is the fries, they weren’t all that. But the burger, IMMACULATE. The decoration, IMMACULATE. Our waitress, IMMACULATE. The music in the background, IMMACULATE.
