SWAMP HOUSE GRILL

Saw this place on a social media post, had to try it out while we were here. I am so glad we did! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, food was outstanding! Will definitely be coming back next time we're in town.

Very cool place on the river. Great seafood... Coconut shrimp was good so is the tilapia and bacon jam Burger. Laid-back atmosphere and we had great service.

Stopped in after driving from Ocala Florida but the windows over the river were blocked by a murky and ugly sheet of plastic. The tables, Which looked to be picnic tables, were all strewn with dirty dishes and trash and there was nobody in line to get in so there was no excuse for the restaurant to be presented this way. With no one in line the wait was too long...staff were inattentive to their guests and the restaurants needs ..we simply turned around and left feeling that if they don't care about how they present their restaurant, we certainly did not think that we as guests. Mattered much...we weren't even greeted or given the time of day when we entered. I can't imagine returning or sharing any referrals.

The food is very good, However, it should be tweaked, could be over the top with ease. Swamp house has a diverse menu with intresting fare from the appetazers to entres Ok,..let get real now! The place is on a navigable waterway at a marina, that takes you the ocean, eventually. They have bar down stairs with seating and live music on the weekends. Good food, good bloodys, good views and GOOD TIMES.

Waaay to much food for me to finish but that's never a bad thing. I just don't like wasting and I don't like leftovers

We went there for a quick stop when we were in our boat and grab some beers. It was a good experience overall and planned to go back for lunch.

Good food.

Although not fancy, this is a great local restaurant that serves really good food with a great variety of options. It’s open so it can get quite noisy when packed which it often is. It’s a lively atmosphere so if you prefer a quiet meal maybe ask for the best day/time in advance. Outside seating gives you a view of the river and lots of fresh air.

Alicia (sp?) was a great server and Tuesdays from 6 to 8 they have music bingo! Lots of fun! Bacon jam burger was so good.

Great food.

Good (sort of Southern-style) food. Nice view of marina/St. John's River. A bit pricey.

It was closed due to a electricity issue.

Awesome outside place to eat. The group I was with had the burgers, crab cake, grouper sandwich, gator bites, and margaritas. Everything was delicious...highly recommend Swamp House.

We had the blackened Alligator, blackened chicken and the seafood trio. Everything was delicious and flavorful! Highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing through. Forgot to take a picture of the food!

They ignored us as we came inside for quite a while. So we just left. The outside was still not cleaned up after multiple guests left.

Always a pleasant experience by the river with a golden monkey and a Mahi taco...

I loved this place. Fast service, friendly staff, and amazing food.
