Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An average is a poor summary when the underlying reviews look like this. Reviews mentioning front-of-house average 3.9 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it.
The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (12 of 20). No one in this corpus comments on speed of service at all. The split is 13 positive to 6 negative across 20 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle.
The inspection lands in between as well: DBPR graded this kitchen a B (83/100), citing 1 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 6 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was December 10, 2025. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. Ranked against Osceola County, it is safer than 20% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited cross-contamination and in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored.
Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

The waiter is fun and joyful, makes jokes and is an overall, amazing guy! The food was good but a couple spots were a tad bit burnt. The place is clean, they clean up after people try their best to keep everything in check.

The jerk chicken and jerk chicken pasta…trash! Nothing jerk about the chicken . Was told that it marinated for hours but in what I don’t know because they weren’t jerk tasting at all! Again trash!
-
Service was great! I had the plantain rice bowl and loved it!!!

The servers are snails. We’ve been here for lunch twice, three years apart. Both visits have been 2+ hours while the restaurant has 3-4 tables. Expect 15 mins before the server even comes to ask what drinks you want. Waste of time for b grade food.
-
The island vibe and the food and drinks are great. Sad to hear they are closing.
-
Good Happy Hour. Good food as well.

The lady that takes orders over the phone hates her job, hates customers and hates her life. She shouldn’t be working there.

We came for Lunch on Saturday June 20th. It was busy, which was a good sign. Food was excellent, however our waitress Crystal was so bad. She messed up our order, but we were so hungry, we ate it anyway. She seemed to be more concerned with talking to other staff than bothering to take care of us.

-
Service was lacking. We ended up leaving after 25 mins with no employee ever coming to our table after the hostess seated us.
