I'm updating my review. Looks like they fired the riff Raff in hired employees with customer service skills. My latest visit was pleasant. The cashier got my order right, and the food was good.

My wife and I had a great experience, with Popeyes in Leesburg Florida

Best chicken 👍My visit was quick and easy. There was no one in the drive‑thru, so I pulled right up and placed my order. Everything was straightforward, the staff was pleasant, and I was on my way in just a couple minutes Overall, my visit hit the spot. The food was hot, tasty, and a downright good value. I grabbed the 2‑piece box deal — perfect Sunday lunch material. Everything was so good it was basically finger‑lickin’… well, you know who usually says that, but Popeyes earned it today

So I got the big box Popeyes called it the big box I was expecting something big like really big. Needless to say like always it’s another corporate bamboozle- scam scammed. The big box wasn’t that big. It’s about the size of my hand. The big box also only had dark meat. I only eat white meat. I do not and I cannot and I will not eat dark meat. I don’t like thighs and I don’t like legs. They’re repulsive to me. I wish I’d never see them so when I got the big box, they didn’t tell me that in the big box, you’re only gonna get dark meat. Yes the big box for $6 oh and by the way, you don’t get a drink you just get the big box and you get two sides so I got the damn rice and beans by the way they were so watery that I used a straw to drink them or eat them or consume them as you will ; next my other side was some so-called french fries/fries potatoes they were decent. They were good, but I still felt like I got bamboozled because when I wanted to eat the chicken, it was dark meat and I cannot eat dark meat. Needless to say the so called employee never told me hey by the way, the big box only has dark meat, so I was already upset that I was scammed, but I tried the dark meat cause I was very hungry and I was fasting. I was fasting because I’ve been praying to Jesus for a 24 hour session -one-on-one connection with my Lord and Savior Jesus so he he told me to fast so he said that he would listen to me if I fasted so I did fast so I broke my fast with the chicken, but the chicken…

Kel is a awesome manager and has a excellent staff member named Apreil very knowledgeable and helpful

Food is always fresh and great customer service thank you to the lady manager a little older “sorry don’t know her name” always great energy!

Why is this location still on Google Maps? It’s been closed for many months!

I went to this Popeyes today with my husband and grandson and the first thing that I ignored was the fact that no one said anything, I mean anything. Then add we were placing our order we asked about individual meals and the lady at the register said that a five dollar and a six dollar meal my husband asked get what was the difference and the lady said one it's five and the other is six instead of explaining what's included in each meal that makes it the price, then we asked about kids meals for our grandson and again she was rude but the kicker and what did it for us was when she said they had no ice, I asked if the drinks were cold and she did try it yourself so I did and the drinks were hot so at that point we chose to leave and go next door to Taco Bell and as soon as we walked into Taco Bell what a big difference in service from the greeting to attending to my grandson needs. This location lacks customer service and they need a manager on site because these employees made us feel as of we were disturbing them. The service was terrible on all levels

God awful. I just made an Uber for buy one get one spicy chicken and it shows up FLAT and little to no spicy sauce. I've never made a review in my life before. My sandwiches looked used and abused. The fries were good though.

20 minutes at the counter while others came and went...

Came through the drive-thru craving fried chicken and mashed potatoes and this Popeyes delivered! The lady who took my order was so nice and polite! My food was fresh and absolutely delicious! Thanks!

It's hit or miss with Popeyes. Make sure you buy when it's fresh. The advertise a 9 piece chicken for $20. What I didn't expect was 6 of those pieces where cruddy wings.

Wow, the service at this store is hit or miss every day. The people that work here are absolutely miserable. I don't know what it is but they mumble, frown and are argumentative when you ask them to repeat or clarify something. I can understand why Popeye's is having financial problems. You need to do some serious training with your employees. Good attitudes generate Excellent experiences. Poor attitudes will ruin a business. Please address and fix this problem at this location or I will take my business to another restaurant.

Staff is rude, dismissive and they seem to have an attitude. Popeyes corporate should send secret shoppers over there so they can see for themselves Everyone seems to have an attitude even while I was being nice. I thought my chicken sandwich had mayo on it so I handed it back cause I did say no mayo. He basically just grabbed it rolled his eyes and said well there’s no mayo in here and walked away with the sandwich. Never again will I go there. They have no customer service skills and we’re being rude and nasty to customers in the drive-through as well. I was shocked by the way they were talking to people in the drive-through.

Hot and Fresh!

I had the best experience with the drive thru window person. She was very helpful in helping us make our minds up. O9 April 2026 around 12:30pm. The chicken strips are moist, biscuit was the best I ever had. This is one great Popeyes restaurant, great job workers.
