Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Something in these 18 reviews keeps circling back to the state of the place — and the grade explains why. Where the staff comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.4, so it reads as a strength. How long an order takes follows at 22% of reviews, where ratings average 3.3.
Tidiness shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 3.7. 15 of 18 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 3 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 14 of 18.
Notably, 17% of reviews here already touch on cleanliness — and the inspection agrees, grading the kitchen an F (53/100) on 5 high-priority and 7 basic violations. Diners were picking up on something real. That result dates from April 1, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. That puts it ahead of 3% of graded kitchens in Lake County. What the inspector actually wrote up: food from approved source.
Taken together, this is a place diners like and inspectors do not. A good meal and a clean kitchen are different questions. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Love the food here. Big portions, decent prices. Always take leftovers home. I wonder if I get any award for being there over 100 times. 👍🏻🤠

I went in expecting something quick… and walked out seriously impressed. The gyro was next level — you can taste the difference right away. The sauce is clearly made fresh in-house, not poured from a bottle, and it absolutely makes the dish. Everything just hits. Then the pizza… wow. Perfectly crispy crust, loaded with cheese and meat, and cooked just right. One of those slices you keep thinking about after you leave. And I have to say — the place was spotless. Not just clean, but really clean, which always says a lot. This spot surprised me in the best way. Definitely worth the stop — I’ll be back.

I haven't been here in along time, thought it use have great food and service. Well I disagree now there were more servers than customers . Our waitress had one table us she did not bring us the bread sticks we ordered until she brought our food and I had to ask for them, the Alfredo dip was horrible and looked like pudding. She never came back and checked on us at all until we were done eating and I asked for a couple boxes which took her another 10 minutes. I can understand being that i was a waitress at one time if you were busy but this was the worst service I have ever had. They should really look at the way the staff dress and work.
