FRANCESCO'S RISTORANTE & PIZZERIA

This place has the warm, welcoming vibe of a neighborhood favorite, where the staff seem to know almost every regular by name. The food is outstanding, especially the pizzas. The crust is perfectly crispy with a unique flavor that really sets it apart.

Made a reservation Saturday night and got stuck in back room that was like eating in a closet and so hot. The server bought a fan and put it on us 2 foot from table??? I ask to be moved and the girl hostess said the empty tables were for a reservation ??? I have a reservation and she walk away and said that’s the best table right now. Also head chef was not there and it showed in the food we ordered! A $250 disappointment….

The pizza was one of the best I have had in a restaurant, my guests had the salmon on a salad, it was so moist and tasty... Highly recommend it for great Italian food, I will go back several times in the future.

This was my first time at Francesco‘s and I have lived in Orlando a long time. I felt like I was in Chicago or NYC. We sat at the bar next to the kitchen. The staff was wonderful and interactive, including Francesco himself. I got the rigatoni palermitana, The fresh eggplant was tender and delicious. I had leftovers and enjoyed it just as much! My friend had the spaghetti à la carbonara, very good. The Caesar salad was crisp with shaved parm. And the bread, so yummy. Thank you for a wonderful meal. I won’t wait so long to come back.

Real Italian food and great atmosphere. Wine list is limited so bring your own. They charge a small cork fee.

It was our first time dining at this restaurant, and my husband and I absolutely loved it! He ordered the delicious lasagna, and I had the seafood platter, which featured a wonderful variety of seafood. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Our waitress was amazing and provided outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant!

This place has the best food around I enjoy eating here every time .

Service was excellent! Our server was well versed in the menu options and provided excellent recommendations. The Pesto pasta is phenomenal. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

We called earlier today to see if we can come without a reservation. They said no problem. We showed up and our only choices were outside or the bar. The hostess couldn’t give an estimate wait time for regular seats. Like really? Even at Linda La Carina, where res are booked up 6 months in advance can provide a wait time for walk-ins. Meanwhile the restaurant was empty and there were tons of reservations available online still. Also it’s a Thursday night… We didn’t make an res originally because we went to a museum and couldn’t commit to a time. When we decided to leave, we didn’t even get an “apology for the inconvenience” or any type of departure acknowledgment as a courtesy. This was highly recommended from the food group. However, this was our first impression and it was beyond disappointing.

I had a confirmed reservation for three at 1:00 on a weekday. When we arrived, there was no record of a reservation nor an apology for lack of it, however, they did seat us. Our server did his job adequately but we found his banter a bit off-putting and not necessary. I have eaten here three times and only one of those times can I say I was completely satisfied with both food and service. I understand that there are circumstances which can cause this to happen but I do think there is room for improvement.

Come on!!! Good food.? Too funny. It's not... The place is so old, so many servers and not good service. Will not go back.

we accidentally made our reservation for the wrong night but the staff worked some magic and got us a booth. wonderful service, delicious food, perfect experience. our server was extremely attentive and kind.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress was rude, took pictures for the birthday. Standing next to the table. Turn around and all the food we got Togo was gone. They threw it away after 30 seconds of us not being at the table but standing right next to it idk how we didn’t notice. I’m a GM at a restaurant that behavior is unacceptable. Especially for a place that’s considered more fine dining. Considered coming back until that happened. They even threw away my friends birthday dessert that they JUST sat on the table. That’s wild to me…. Overall a disappointing experience.

We were there for a birthday dinner, the food presentation was horrible, tons of sauce over food. We did a reservation at 7:00pm and we seated at 7:38 to be honest I don’t know who voted for the best Italian restaurant. Do not recommend. The only thing good :the lady server was very kind

What the??? OMG why haven't I come here sooner!!!!! Everything was excellent 👌 👍 Darryl was an excellent host, very cordial. The food was absolutely Amazing! The chef Francesco really knows what he's doing. He's actually from Palermo, Sicilia! My father was from Racalmuto, Sacilia! Eating here made me feel like I was back at the Villa having lunch back in the day ❤️ Love, love, love it!!!

My first experience at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. From the moment we walked in, there was an unpleasant odor, and the overall appearance of the restaurant was far from inviting. The food was disappointing, but the worst part of the experience was the service. Our waiter was unfriendly and appeared to be putting on an exaggerated Italian accent. Interestingly, that accent seemed to disappear whenever he was away from customers and cleaning tables in another area of the restaurant. The service was extremely slow and poorly organized—dishes were brought out one at a time, forcing some guests to wait while others were already eating. To make matters worse, the waiter seemed offended when I didn’t leave an additional tip, despite the fact that an 18% gratuity had already been included in the bill. Based on the level of service we received, I did not feel he deserved anything extra. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Far from a decent Italian fast food. A good Italian restaurant is TerraMia in Lake Mary. This place has no atmosphere it ‘s just a parking lot, far from being clean and the food is extremely salty, color of the seafood they serve …see for yourself in the pictures. The outside patio is filled with flies and mosquitoes, smells like the garbage also see in the pictures the view they offer. Stake and fly in the last picture.

This place is ridiculously good. I've lived in Central Florida for 26 years, and when friends want my recommendation for a place to go or I'm taking them to dinner? This is where I take them. Every single time. Nobody has ever been disappointed. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I found this place years ago after a divorce and living with a friend. It was nearby and had good ratings so I thought I'd check it out. I can't tell you how many hours I spent at the bar watching Chef leading his kitchen. So many delicious meals. Especially the specials. I always go for the specials. Sometimes at restaurants they're just trying to get rid of things. At Francesco's? No chef is trying to give you something actually special. To this day Francesco's remains my favorite restaurant in all of the greater Orlando area. No wonder they continue to win awards.

I have to say for Italian this place isn’t too bad. The service is really good. 14 years of being in business shows that they know what they’re doing. We were a little disappointed with the eggplant dinner special but they replaced it with spaghetti and meat sauce, which was excellent full of flavor. They have many wine selections the waiter was very helpful with helping us decide the best option for the evening. They were extremely busy on a Saturday evening (reservations are recommended). We were able to slide in thanks to the Manager to a table in the back, which was nice and quiet, even though it was a little warm. If you’re looking for a nice Italian restaurant great service look no further.

This is THE PLACE Italian's go to eat when they cant get moms cooking! Francesco takes care of us! Great Staff, Great Food and a Great Atmosphere!
