Very small portions with Very high price

Super good shrimp. Fast service and well managed , happy hour oysters ALL WEEKEND LONG! Stay away from the gumbo (I think its canned).
-
Best meal we’ve had our entire vacation! We came on Sunday afternoon and were happy to find the oyster 🦪 happy hour, a dozen raw, absolutely divine! My husband loved the redfish special, his clam chowder was so good we ordered more to go. My scallops were also delicious, and our son’s burger/ fries was the best kids burger/ fries we’ve seen around. We will absolutely return next time we have a beach day in new Smyrna. Shoutout to our server Gabriella for taking such good care of us, we enjoyed our entire experience so much!

I had never been there before but happened to stop in and they had an amazing band called Sober Cafe and I legit will come back for them

Good food. Fried oysters and the seafood combo plates are the best. 20240529 Great fried shrimp, onion rings and Cole slaw.. yum yum yummy. 20260514 Still a place with terrific food, friendly service and great atmosphere.

Best seafood at great value. Can't order one thing when I go. Serving sized are good size.

This location is all about superb food quality and great service. Forget oceanfront views with mediocre cuisine -- that's not what you'll find here. What you WILL find is a great menu of fresh, well-prepared, flavorful portions and an extremely friendly wait staff who attended to our every need. We chose Olsen's Cracked Conch, Caesar Salad, Oysters Rockefeller, and Bread Pudding. Every single item was a hit. Delicious!! Can't wait to return!

Great staff, great owner, and excellent food!
-
Everything was great just a little bit of a wait time.
-
Fresh oysters were fantastic - sat at the bar and shared a dozen with some prosecco on the side. Delicious!

Over steaming shrimp causes issues peeling them. I didn’t bomb your rating, don’t treat customers like idiots. Getting cooks to stick to procedure is tough, getting help at all is tough, the next time a customer can’t peel their shrimp because they’re welded from overcooking- fix it. Don’t tell them “they’re peel and eat shrimp, they’re all like that, you just and eat them”. And please don’t throw your bartender under the bus, she got that from the manager on duty.

We were seated quickly, which was nice. We ordered rock shrimp, and two dozen oysters. The rock shrimp quantity was great, but the quality was a bit overdone. The two dozen oysters looked great, but also a bit overdone. We never got checked on or given plates during our appetizer. Also never got checked on during the meal which resulted to zero water refills and me having to go to the bar to get our check and pay. We finally saw our server and finally was acknowledged while walking out where I expressed I paid at the bar.

Even though it shares a parking lot with Publix, it doesn’t disappoint. Service was excellent. Food was good- would definitely recommend and go back. We have been here a few times over the years. It’s a go-to for our family. Enjoy!

Favorite place to get an awesome seafood broil and the vibe is awesome !

I had the Watermelon mojito which was AMAZING and so refreshing. My boyfriend and I shared an appetizer of garlic Parmesan oysters which were some of the best I’ve ever had. We then shared the creole boil which took me back to my eastern shore MD roots. The bread pudding desert was chewy on the outside and soft on the inside which is exactly how I like it. But the best part of our experience? Our server, Rocky. She always had a smile on her face and was extremely attentive and personable. If you ever visit Off the Hook, make sure to get some oysters and ask for Rocky as your server!

Small family owned store excellent food

We got there early, and had the place to ourselves for about 20 minutes. Tried the fish tacos and boy I'm glad I did. Delicious fried fish tacos and coleslaw. My friend got a salad with shrimp and fried fish bites, again excellent. Our waiter was attentive and helpful

Would definitely recommend anyone visiting new Smyrna to come hang out at off the hook. Don’t let the Publix parking lot fool you. This place has amazing fish, and atmosphere! I’ve been going for years. Finally moved to new Smyrna about three years ago and don’t go near as often as I should. Yesterday I had something I didn’t necessarily care for and sent it back to the kitchen, which I never do and then Mike came out immediately cut up the best tuna I’ve ever had in my entire life - one day off of the boat. Amazing! So stoked thx ya’ll - all of the staff is super nice and very welcoming. Cheers!

Food was good. Waitress was a bit off in service. Could have done better.

Sat at the bar with a friend. Not one of the 3 servers said a word for more than 10 minutes, yet one of them had time to conversate with the couple next to us about oysters for the entire time. We got up and left. Went to Clancy's Cantina, sat at the bar and the bartender said hi how are you within 2 minutes. Your staff needs coaching.
