Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Read the reviews alone and you would never guess the grade. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.7 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 14 of 17. The split is 14 positive to 2 negative across 17 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle. What nobody raises here is whether it is worth the money — it goes unmentioned across all 17 reviews.
None of that is visible in a star rating: the most recent DBPR inspection graded this kitchen an F (53/100), citing 4 high-priority, 4 intermediate, and 3 basic violations. Diner sentiment and inspection result are measuring different things here, and only one of them is checked by the state. That result dates from June 22, 2026. That puts it ahead of 2% of graded kitchens in Volusia County. What the inspector actually wrote up: food from approved source and cross-contamination.
What to do with that is a judgement call — the reviews describe the experience, the grade describes the conditions behind it. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Food, staff, and atmosphere outside was top notch! Our only "complaint" was the live music being a bit too loud so it was difficult to talk with the waitress and our family! We will definitely be back!
-
We found this place on a quick Google search for "where do the locals like to eat in New Smyrna Beach". Our server, Jackie, did a wonderful job. The view is great and so is the food and drinks. Oh and the rest sinks are pretty cool too.

Consistently great food and service, combined with gorgeous views and relaxed vibe, make it one of our favorites in the area

Lobster shrimp tortellini was so amazing! You must, must get the grilled cheese with crab and lobster. Dolphin watching and sunset.

We held our sons rehearsal dinner here. Zoe was absolutely amazing as the banquet manager. Her communication and special accommodations with food allergies was amazing! She stayed in constant contact as the event got closer, and was just the absolute best! The staff was above par, especially Jackie. She filled every request, offered suggestions, and couldn’t have been more kind. It made the event that much better!

It has been YEARS since I have been to Outriggers amd it was still such an amazing experience. We went as a party of 6 with two children amd everyone enjoyed their food and left happy. We went on a Thursday and there was live music.

The live music was awful and was so loud that you could not have a conversation with our family. Ruined the lunch.

Ill address the worst part of this place first. Mandatory valet parking is RIDICULOUS. There was plenty of parking available and I'm not allowed to park my own vehicle??? The other option is to park in the dirt lot next door. Food was good but slow for some reason.Service was fine but host staff had frowns on their face the entire time.

Restaurant with water views, good service and fresh seafood choices. We had the fresh catch of the day which was grouper. We got it blackened and it was outstanding. Highly recommend!
-
Beautiful location ,natures boats docking. Animals drinking getting loud and stupid, cant hear your conversation with out trying to out talk your neighbors. Its great! mostly an outdoor setting. Not for a quiet romantic evening. So if your looking for that...dont go. Food is.....Meh.. fries crispy though. i mean not bad after adding alcohol. No complaints just facts.

I told my best friend Mark that my Mahi-Mahi fish sandwich was the best I've ever had. We started with smoked Mahi dip. Ramez was our incredible server. On top of everything. Friendly, knowledgeable, engaging. The atmosphere was over the top incredible! The marina was full of yachts and other boats. Beautiful pelicans were strolling by to say hello. I'm from North Carolina and come to see Mark every year. We will be back!
