Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Diners raise cleanliness often enough to notice — and on this one the state inspector agrees with them. Opinion on front-of-house is split — those reviews land at 3.9 on average. Portion size is the next most common subject, in 29% of reviews (averaging 3.0).
The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (10 of 17). Of the 17 rated reviews, 13 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below. Speed of service shows up in 29% of reviews as well, averaging 4.0.
The inspection record is the harder read. DBPR graded this kitchen an F (42/100) on 6 high-priority, 2 intermediate, and 4 basic violations — a verdict the review average does not reflect. The visit behind that grade was March 11, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 1% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited food from approved source.
The practical read: people enjoy eating here, and the kitchen still failed its last inspection. Those are separate claims, and only the second one gets checked by anybody. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Extremely large slices. Friendly people and clean restaurant .

Cool spot, but damn is it expensive for being such an average tasting pizza. Had a large pizza completely under cooked had to finish baking it when I got home. Mirinos Pizza still stands as the best pizza in volusia county

If I could give this place a -10 review, I would. Horrible customer service. I genuinely don’t understand what took so long. We ordered one large pizza and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Instead, we waited 45 minutes. The restaurant had two customers and the kitchen was fully staffed. There was no lunch rush, no dinner rush, and no visible reason for such an excessive delay. If it takes 45 minutes to make a single pizza when the restaurant is empty, I can only imagine what the wait is like when they’re actually busy. And to top it off, the pizza was extremely salty… just like the establishment. The issue wasn’t just the wait. It was being given a completely unrealistic time estimate and then left waiting with no explanation. Customers can be patient when businesses are honest, but don’t tell people 20 minutes when it’s really going to be nearly an hour. Very disappointing experience and not one I’ll be repeating

Ordered a pizza and a small salad from Blue Springs Pizza tonight and we were pleasantly surprised. The woman that took my order over the phone was very nice and patient with my questions. The inside is very clean and cute, and even the kitchen staff was having appropriate and friendly conversation. It was a great environment and everything we ordered was great!

I ordered pizza and calamari. The pizza was really good but I wasn't crazy with the calamari, it was tough, overcooked.

Good food, fast service, friendly people

Went in to grab a slice and noticed a bug on the pizzas within the case. The employee working the register seemed unconcerned when we mentioned this and we ultimately decided to not to eat here.
-
Great food and service. Food prep took a bit long. Outside seating ok but right on the road.

Blue Springs Pizza is hands down some of the best NY-style pizza around 🍕 Perfectly thin, crispy crust, great sauce, and fresh, melty cheese—every slice is packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and really care about what they’re serving. Fast, friendly service too. Definitely my go-to spot!

The chicken bacon ranch pizza is by far the best I’ve had. The garlic bread with cheese was amazing. The staff was attentive and friendly. Clean restaurant highly recommend.

We always do delivery and the food is always wonderful!

My sister had the 2 slice pizza special and I had a bite and was really good. I had the small calzone and it had a bad taste, almost like something was bad..should have said something but didn't.
