What diners say — our read

The headline average flatters this listing; the recent half does not. Reviewers who mention how guests are treated rate this place 4.8 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. How food arrives follows at 24% of reviews, where ratings average 4.3.

5 stars is the modal score, given by 10 of the 17 reviewers who rated. Of the 17 rated reviews, 12 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below. A third strand, wait times, appears in 24% of them at 3.0 stars.

The kitchen graded a B (88/100) on 2 intermediate and 3 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. That inspection was on May 21, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 37% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were water source safe and plumbing installed & maintained.

Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE UNIDENTIFIABLE FOOD IN MY FRENCH ONION SOUP. LOOKED LIKE IT IT CAME OUT OF A TOILET BOWL.

⭐ Valentina Made Our Last Night in Florida Memorable We decided to eat here after spending 45 minutes stuck in traffic because of the World Cup watch parties. Since we weren't from the area, we had no idea what was happening and arrived a little stressed after the unexpected delay. When we walked into the restaurant, it was packed. The host let us know the wait for a table would be 45 minutes to an hour, but offered us the option of sitting on the patio instead. We took the patio and were seated almost immediately. About 10 minutes later, our server, Valentina, came over to introduce herself, and from that moment on, she completely turned our evening around. She was friendly, energetic, and genuinely fun to talk to. Since we were visiting Florida on vacation, she shared recommendations, explained why the area was so busy, and excitedly told us about the World Cup and how her team was advancing. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and before long, we had forgotten all about the stressful drive. When she realized our appetizers had somehow been skipped by the kitchen, she immediately looked into it, kept us updated, and made sure they were prepared right away. By then, our entrées had already arrived, and we told her not to worry about them. She insisted on making it right and had the appetizers removed from our bill. At the end of our meal, she thanked us for visiting and apologized that our last night in Florida had been so hectic, even though we assured her it really wasn't that…

Service was spot on at the Kirkman location. Tiffany, the server at the bar, did a great job handling the bar during a Brazil world cup game. The coffee and brunch burger was awesome and hit the spot for my empty stomach.

waited for my curbside pick up for over 30 minutes went inside to see what’s going on and my food has been sitting in the togo area no worker in sight to hand me my food i called multiple times it wasn’t even busy in there. worst place ever

Zingers Mac n cheese not the same as Ale house in East Orlando locations. Cut up zingers, why to only give you three zingers vs usual 5? To many chives, something off about this place.

    Good good service was fine

We came in around 1 AM and had such an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious. The French dip sandwich was hands down the best I’ve ever had but the roll was huge, fresh, and perfect for soaking up the au jus. The steak was cooked perfectly, which was especially impressive considering how late it was. We also ordered the pretzel appetizer, and it was incredible. The beer cheese was probably the best I’ve ever had! Our server, Saeid, truly made the experience even better. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always had a smile on his face. He checked on us often without being overbearing and made us feel genuinely welcome. Great food, great service, and an all-around fantastic late-night meal. We would definitely be back if we lived in the area.

It's rubbish... more than 15 empty tables inside the place and they leave everyone waiting outside

We stopped in for a beer and the Zinger Mountain melt. Our server was friendly and attentive. Our Zingers were delivered to the table by a runner and the Zingers had scallions even though we ordered it without. The portion was very generous, hot, and crispy. When Our server checked on us she noticed a pile of scallions on a separate plate and she commented that she would've never brought this to our table. Picking off the scallions was easy enough, so we weren't super fussed. I would come here again.

My lads and I are here for the World Cup and we saw this restaurant nearby our hotel, not only was the food massive and good! Our waitress Valentina was absolutely welcoming, on top of being drop dead gorgeous, we didn’t know Colombians were that pretty and nice! Defo have to come back and say hi before going back home! Get the Queso burger, cheers!

  • June 15, 2026

Sandwich was dry. Serve was using inappropriate language. Very loud music. Couldn't carry on a conversation.

We’ve been to this location for the last couple evenings for dinner. Thursday night, John was our server. He was amazing! Service with a smile and dinner came out quick, hot and delicious! Last night our server, Tiffany & PJ the Manager were just as fabulous! Adding extra touches & conversation to make our experience a 10/10 ⭐️’s!!!! We will most likely go back tonight, as our hotel is in walking distance from a few restaurants, but Miller’s Ale House has NEVER failed us!!! Maya 😊 & Lynda
