The 3.9-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. The staff cuts both ways here, averaging 3.8 among the reviews that raise it. How long an order takes follows at 33% of reviews, where ratings average 3.0.
14 of 21 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 4 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 13 of 21.
The kitchen graded a B (84/100) on 2 intermediate and 10 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. That result dates from January 8, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is upward over the records we hold. That puts it ahead of 28% of graded kitchens in Orange County. What the inspector actually wrote up: food & equipment thermometers provided and accurate and potentially hazardous foods properly thawed.
Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Jason made our visit to Miller's Ale House in Orlando one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while. From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy taking care of his tables. He checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive, kept our drinks filled, and made sure everything came out exactly as we ordered it. The food arrived hot, fresh, and quickly, and Jason's recommendations were spot on. He knew the menu well, answered our questions confidently, and helped us decide on a few items we might not have tried otherwise. His positive attitude and attention to detail made the entire meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff all appeared to work well together, but Jason really stood out. Great service can completely change a dining experience, and that's exactly what happened for us. If you're visiting this Miller's Ale House location, I highly recommend asking to sit in Jason's section if you have the chance. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great meal, and it's clear he takes pride in providing outstanding customer service. We'll definitely be back, and we hope Jason is our server again next time!

My wife and I visited Miller's Ale House at this location and had the absolute best service from Kaleigh! She was terrific! She didn't rush us, was attentive to our every need, and carried a beautiful conversation with us! What a delight! The food came out great and the steak was incredibly well seasoned!

Thank you Tiana for serving my family and I! You were wonderful and fast. We will come here again the next time we are in state!

UPDATE: Spoke with the Manager who comped one of our meals and was extremely kind and applogetic. He placed us with a kind and attentive waitress as well. Original post: Was told wait would be 45 mins to an hour. My husband and I gave our name and phone number to the hostess and went to wait in the car. After an hour, we went back in to see how much longer. We were told all the parties on the waitlist have been contacted, we never received a call or text. We checked with the new hostess who informed us we were never even put on the waitlist. Waste of time.

Came mid afternoon, so it was quiet in the restaurant. The food was good and the service was excellent. Would definitely come again!

The staff is super friendly and seemed on top of everything.Dan the manager is great and always comes to say hello and make sure things are good! Grace Cici and Charita are amazing bartenders and always make the visit that much better! I make sure to come into this location every time I'm in the area! I highly recommend this place!! I can't wait to go back!

He left a piece of squeezed lemon in a new drink.

This was terrible, Alexandria. .. do better. Left off an order for one of the people at our table. Burger was awful, greasy and not cooked good. Seemed like everyone needs to get it together tonight

Visited for a late lunch/early dinner. Happened to be a USA world cup game on. Our server was killing it. She was working a very large section of the restaurant, and made sure we had everything we needed pretty consistently. We did order some draft beers, but both (2 different brands) were not that cold, and tasted flat. So we switched to soft drinks.

Loved my entree, Mimi's Fiesta Bowl with shrimp & chicken..also the like loved their chicken zingers with mac & cheese

Should not have a bartender as a server. Waited 15 min for a drink. Hostess was not friendly either. Waited way too long for a non draft beer. Walked out. Went to BJs instead, cheaper, better service. Don’t eat here. Get your moneys worth down the road.

Unfortunately, Our order was so easy our server forgot about it… We arrive at Ale house at 12:10AM 6/18/2026 They were a little busy because of the World Cup but unfortunately, that’s not the reason why we were forgotten. Our party of three ordered an appetizer chips and queso and three orders of mac & cheese with fried chicken. She Decided not to write it down because the order was so easy(so easy she forgot) The chips and queso came out relatively fast no issues. But after seeing multiple tables with bigger parties leave before us, that’s when we started to notice. At this point, it’s 12:50AM (still no food) with only 2 tables left at this point. Our waiter even came And let us know that the kitchen was closing. But we were a little confused because we still haven’t received our food. We call her back over at 1:10am And ask her about our very simple order of mac & cheese and fried chicken. When we asked our waiter about our order, you could see the look on her face. The look of oh shit I forgot this order ( because IT WAS SO EASY, she didn’t write it down). I watch her scramble to get someone to the kitchen to make our food ( because the kitchen was closed), runs back to our table to let us know that the food will be ready in seven minutes. We did not receive our food until 1:30 AM. A manager and her brought out our food, do you think they mentioned anything to us about why it took so long for mac & cheese and fried chicken. Why it took an hour and a half for fried chicken…

I have never eat at a miller’s before and I was blown away by not just the quality but also the quantity. The chips and queso with chorizo were phenomenal. While the amount of queso was low, you HAVE to save room for the main course. I personally hade the bacon burger with the skillet and it was delicious. It had a hearty amount of meat cooked to the exact way I asked. My group that went up there for FFA state convention were very satisfied. The price is very fair to and the servers were very nice and polite. The only down side was that America wasn’t playing in the World Cup when we went.

The French dip was over cooked... But the service and rest of the experience was good

Very disappointing experience at Miller’s Ale House. I ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and had four sticks remaining on my plate when the server mistakenly assumed I was finished and took the plate away, discarding the food before asking whether I was done. To her credit, she apologized and had a replacement order brought out. Unfortunately, the replacement order was completely different from the original. It arrived covered in red pepper flakes, making the appetizer unexpectedly spicy and uncomfortable to eat. What concerns me is that the menu description states the mozzarella sticks are tossed in Parmesan, garlic, and oregano and served with zesty marinara, but it does not mention red pepper flakes. The original order didn’t have them, so the inconsistency was confusing and disappointing. The entire experience left me frustrated. Between having food taken away while I was still eating and receiving a replacement that was prepared differently than the original order, this was not the level of service or consistency I expected. Management should address both staff training and menu transparency to prevent similar experiences for other guests.
