Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
4.4 stars across 23 reviews, an F health grade — those two numbers are not describing the same visit. Front-of-house tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.3 stars.
The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (18 of 23). Of the 23 rated reviews, 18 sit at four stars or better and 3 at two or below.
None of that is visible in a star rating: the most recent DBPR inspection graded this kitchen an F (54/100), citing 3 high-priority, 5 intermediate, and 7 basic violations. Diner sentiment and inspection result are measuring different things here, and only one of them is checked by the state. The visit behind that grade was May 18, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. On health score it sits safer than 2% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited food from approved source and cross-contamination.
What to do with that is a judgement call — the reviews describe the experience, the grade describes the conditions behind it. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

You removed the best thing on the menu. Trigger fish. Which you can only really get in Florida at a place to eat.

Took my daughter for her 30th birthday. Couldn't have picked a better place. Thank you for a wonderful celebration.
-
Just what we were looking for, for our last vacation dinner!
-
They turn into unhappy when you order less than their expectation. Food is good tho.

My husband and I went here for a date night while out on vacation with family, after not having a date night alone after having our children for almost 2 years and the oceanaire truly ruined the entire experience and night. I will never waste my time or money here again and would recommend my friends to not do so either. We arrive at 8pm for reservations, are seated quickly which was nice. Our waiter takes about 10 minutes easily to come to our table to gather drink orders. Offers only water options and we had to slow him down to ask about drink orders. He doesnt ask about apps- even though wed love one! he disappears again for another 30 minutes. Starting to get irritated at this point. we havent even ordered our appetizer. Finally we get the waiter back to our table, order all of our food at once so he doesnt disappear forever again. So glad we did that considering what happened. The appetizer comes out fine and in good timing, great taste. It just goes extremely downhill from here. The waiter did not ask me to specify which salmon I wanted for my husband, which yes I shouldve specified, but if theres MULTIPLE salmon options on the menu, you would think to ask WHICH ONE the customer would like right? I order a $66 steak, $19 fries, and $19 fried rice sides to share with my husband. after being here sitting for a total of 2 WHOLE HOURS, our food FINALLY comes out. It is INCORRECT, the entirely wrong salmon meal. Forget to bring out the $19 fries. They fixed the salmon…

Absolutely amazing experience the food was all fresh and tasted house made. Mat was freaking amazing he’s the bald man! Amazing service he knew the whole menu like the back of his hand and even let us know about events around us. Food atmosphere cleanliness all amazing. I recommend the Rock oysters for sure.

We've been eating out at great and high end restaurants for almost a week. Oceanaire was by far the best! From the minute we walked in the host pleasantly greeted us. I noticed immediately the vibe. Very nice setup a little on the dark side but the restaurant looked great. We were immediately approached by one of the best servers I've had in years, Matt. Seriously and I'm a foodie. I know good servers and good food. He was on his game! He had extensive knowledge of the menu from the oysters to the steaks, drinks and desserts. The food was delicious. My son got the Chilean bass miso soup, my husband had the lobster bisque and Jerk swordfish. I had oysters, lobster roll and crab meat cocktail. We all enjoyed our dinner. Five stars all around from the ambience, service food and even clean bathrooms. I will surely be back the next time I come to Orlando

-
Very pleasant place with great food, attentive service and a beautiful atmosphere. The only thing is that it’s located in a very touristy area, so it can feel a bit busy at times
-
Amazing from start to finish. Sharp decor, comfortable atmosphere, pleasant staff. Drinks were proper and the food was perfect. Highly recommend!

Amazing food not the best service. For the amount of money we spent we expect exceptional service and Hector was the opposite.
-
Amazing service and food. We had the steak, flounder, Shanghai fried rice and toffee pudding desert.

Birthday event. Friday night and restaurant not very full. The staff was attentive. Was comped a tasty baked Alaska for birthday dessert. Had $50 credit on Landry account & they could only process $25. Luckily I reviewed receipt. Could not resolve so comped the appetizer. For fine dining my meal was underwhelming. Smallest piece of halibut I ever been served. Wasn't very flavorful and drenched in too much butter. Octopus app recommended and more tasty. Husband liked his swordfish. He ordered side of mashed potatoes and portion was pretty small for price. These steakhouses used to bring large side portions. Guess thats shrinkflation. Was my least favorite meal at the point.

Great food, swordfish was pretty good

I love this place so much, I feel it’s a below the radar kind of place and that’s ok with me. Food is always so fresh and so plentiful! My favorite is the happy hour bar food, best I’ve ever had bar none (haha). Try it you won’t be disappointed.
