What diners say — our read

4.3 stars across 20 reviews, an F health grade — those two numbers are not describing the same visit. The staff tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.5 stars.

A third strand, serving size, appears in 15% of them at 4.3 stars. 17 of 20 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 3 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 15 of 20.

Notably, 10% of reviews here already touch on cleanliness — and the inspection agrees, grading the kitchen an F (47/100) on 1 high-priority, 4 intermediate, and 18 basic violations. Diners were picking up on something real. That result dates from November 3, 2025. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 1% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: cross-contamination and in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored.

What to do with that is a judgement call — the reviews describe the experience, the grade describes the conditions behind it. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

The food was phenomenal, best pho I’ve ever had!

    Yummy food great service

My family and I tried this place for the first time and loved it. The pho was some of the best we've had, the summer rolls were excellent, and even our kids found something they enjoyed. What really stood out was the service. I believe our server's name was Lee. He was friendly, welcoming, and made our family feel right at home. He was great with our kids and made the whole experience fun for them. It felt like the kind of hospitality that's becoming harder to find. Great food, great people, and we'll definitely be back.

We decided to try this spot after seeing it featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It was a true five-star experience from start to finish. We even had the chance to spend some time talking with Lee, who was incredibly personable and welcoming. To start, we shared a matcha boba tea, which was refreshing and nicely balanced. For food, we ordered the pan-fried noodles (one of Guy Fieri’s picks), which had an amazing texture with the perfect crispness, along with the beef stew pho with egg noodles, which was deeply savory, rich, and comforting with just the right amount of spice. We’ve had Vietnamese food and pho many times, but the pan-fried noodles and shaking beef-style flavors felt like a really fun change from the more typical dishes we usually order. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and memorable. A place we would happily return to again and again. 🍜✨

Great food and service. It's no wonder the Food Network keeps coming back and highlighting the restaurant.

Me and my friend tried all pho restaurants on town and this one is the best for sure. Best quality, price, and the place looks fresh and clean.

This is my family's favorite restaurant. The food is just awesome. Today I tried the pineapple and chicken fried rice, it was awesome. I usually get the beef stew (Guys Favorite). Everything is always delicious.Lee makes it a lot of fun, and all the waiters are very nice. Today my son invited many friends to the restaurant for lunch and they all had a wonderful time. Thank you Lee for helping to make this a special day for my family. We'll be back soon!

Service and food were absolutely exceptional, easily a 11/10. Everything was flawless from start to finish. Special thanks to Mr. Lee for the outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back.

Service was +++. Had never been before, and the owner asked what we liked. Grab our menus and wouldn’t let us order. Said “I’ll take care of you“. The food that came out was fantastic. And just a great overall experience. Well worth a trip.

This was honestly one of the most terrible dining experiences I’ve ever had. I came here with my cousin and her boyfriend. According to my cousin, every other time she’s visited this restaurant she’s received amazing service and staff always went above and beyond for her and her family, so this experience was just horrible. From the moment we sat down, the owner/server Sam had an attitude toward us and acted hostile the entire night. The situation escalated after my cousin took literally one sip of her drink, realized she didn’t like it, and sent it back to order something else instead. At the end of the meal, we noticed he still charged us for the original drink. When she politely asked if it could be removed, he refused and said “nothing was wrong with it.” Things became even more aggressive when Sam pulled out his phone, got in my cousin’s face, and started taking pictures of her while threatening to tell police we were trying to dine and dash even though we fully intended on paying for our food and drinks. At that point, the situation became so hostile that the police ended up being called. Of course when the police arrived Sam’s demeanor completely changed and told the cop that he would’ve had no problem remaking her drink. I don’t like throwing around accusations lightly, but the way we were treated felt very different from how my cousin described being treated on previous visits. I honestly feel like that man is a racist and didn’t want to admit it. The sad part is…

Great selection and generous portion sizes. Staff is friendly and happy to walk through the menu with you. Everything is delicious. No wonder this is one of Guy's picks! Recommend!

This place is dirty, not sure how they still operating. My husband and I were throwing up all night. The real Saigon is on colonial dr. Save your money and health. DO NOT COME HERE

The best Vietnamese food around! Authentic and delicious! The best beef stew ever!

  • March 2, 2026

Excellent food and great host by the owner.

  • March 1, 2026

I do not recommend the clear noodles stir fried. Zero taste, zero sauce. To the point the noodles stuck to each other. Veggies had no sauce either. Big disappointment

Great lunch experience. Lee our waiter was fantastic with a welcoming and fun attitude, plus great suggestions. He suggested the lychee beverage which I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. It was delicious, refreshing and not too sweet. Tasted just like lychee. Lee also brought out a couple spicy and flavorful sauces for the house beef pho, which was delicious. Dry noodle dishes were great as well as sesame chicken. We had a party of 5 and they had a couple large round tables which is a great table shape for conversation.

Wow! Best lunch! Incredible service by Lee. So personable, funny and helped me create a dish that met my dietary needs. Incredible spicy fish dish! We had a large party and Lee handled us with ease. Can't wait to go back!
