Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
If these 18 reviews agree on a topic, it is the staff. Where front-of-house comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.6, so it reads as a strength.
Of the 18 rated reviews, 16 sit at four stars or better and 1 at two or below. Behind those, speed of service is raised in 17% of reviews (3.7 average). The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (16 of 18).
The kitchen graded a B (82/100) on 1 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 7 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. The visit behind that grade was February 12, 2026. That puts it ahead of 21% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. For specifics, the last inspection cited dishwashing facilities and plumbing installed & maintained.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

First time coming to eat at the haunted Ashley's Restaurant in Rockledge was when I was a child and I remember having an odd experience in the ladies bathroom; I was around 10-11 years old and knew nothing of the hauntings... I went to the bathroom and while in the stall I noticed a woman's feet/shoes in the stall next to mine... Very quickly I realized the style of shoes was odd and seemed old fashioned then I came out of my stall to see the stall next to mine, empty and door wide open with ABSOLUTELY NO ONE THERE!!! THE VIBE WAS COMPLETELY OFF, I RAN OUTTA THERE!!!

Food was great. Service too. Atmosphere was comfortable. No paranormal events but we had a great time. Prices we're easy on the wallet. We ate upstairs with a great view of the whole place.

Ashley’s of Rockledge absolutely lived up to the hype! My girlfriend and I stopped in hoping for great food and maybe a ghost sighting. While the spirits must have been taking the night off, the food was hauntingly good. I ordered the burger with fries and a side salad. The burger was cooked perfectly, the fries were fresh, crispy, and some of the best I’ve had in a while, and the salad was fresh and crisp. My girlfriend had the sliders with fries, and they disappeared so quickly I almost thought a ghost stole them. We also shared an order of buffalo wings with ranch, and they were outstanding—hot, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Even though we didn’t experience anything paranormal, the atmosphere was fantastic. The building has a lot of history, and the historic charm combined with the local ghost stories gives the place a unique character you won’t find at a typical restaurant. If there are ghosts at Ashley’s, they’re clearly staying because the food is too good to leave. We’ll definitely be back—maybe next time the spirits will join us for dinner.

It was awesome

Not haunted as advertised but interesting and great service.

At lunch: Fabulous wings, great BLT, others raved about sliders and the Italian sandwich. Great service. I love a historic building like this. Why did it take me so long? I'll go back.

Been going to eat here since the early 80's.

Reasonable drinks and fun karaoke on Fridays!

This place used to be great. Currently under new management. Like the 5th time in two years and the absolute worst so far. If you like hockey try the burgers, inedible. Chilli was cold and shredded cheese not even melted. Staff are unmotivated and misrible, as of late completely useless. Stood at the bar 20 minutes and never offered a drink. They will soon go out of business and a new owner may raise it from the kitchens ashes. Enjoy the high speed rail 50feet behind, shaking I your cavities loose. Water treatment plant across the RR tracks offers a smell that is incredible.

What a cool place! Food was great! Service was spot on! And they let me wander around upstairs looking for ghosts! (didn't see any this time but we will be back!)

We had a very pleasant experience at this establishment. Jo, our server and barmaid was very nice and helpful. She even told us about the history of this haunted restaurant. The food was excellent too! Highly recommend

UPDATED: A lot has changed since we were last here. And I like it. The menu has changed. There are now theme days, such as Taco Tuesdays, Smackburger Mondays, and Fish Fridays. I ordered a Greek salad. The portion was quite large. The salad was good. My husband often orders chicken wings here. The chicken wings here are also delicious. I think you guys have changed for the better. The food, service, atmosphere 👍🏼 Simple and good food. Halloween decoration! 🎃👻👻👻 I like it. Thank you, bartender Nicole! By the way: They have TVs above the bar now, which I hadn't noticed before? Cool. It'll be great to watch football games, funny videos, Halloween cartoons, or whatever else. I thought it would be cool if they installed a smoke machine. It would enhance the mysterious atmosphere. Anyway, I take back what I said before about this place and revise my rating. We will be coming here more often. UPDATED: A cozy place in winter. Summer salad so good. Taco 🌮 also was good Updated 04.09.2026 We celebrated a birthday here. It was nice that the people sitting at the bar and all the other guests, along with the bartender, congratulated us. They sang “Happy Birthday” to us and gave us a slice of cake. 🍰 A cozy, heartwarming, welcoming place. P.S. Look at my Italian sandwich 🤤 - huge and tasty.
