Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The 3.5-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. Opinion on front-of-house is split — those reviews land at 3.3 on average. Freshness and temperature is the next most common subject, in 29% of reviews (averaging 3.3).
The split is 14 positive to 8 negative across 24 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. How much food arrives shows up in 29% of reviews as well, averaging 3.7. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (11 of 24).
The kitchen graded a B (84/100) on 1 high-priority and 8 basic violations at its last inspection, which is roughly where the reviews sit too. The visit behind that grade was March 24, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. Ranked against Seminole County, it is safer than 27% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Amazing food from Philly! Fly Sanford Fly!
-
Being from Philadephia myself, I can say this is the closest to home cooking (cheese steak) as you can get in Florida. Great cheese steak! Go Birds!
-
Mixed reviews in the comments. The service was basic. The food came out quick hot and full of steak but was missing cheese for some reason. Kinda pricey in my opinion for a cheesesteak.

I went in with high hopes. I've been to Pats and Ginos in Philadelphia and I wasn't impressed there. I've heard about the hype so I gave it a try. Very dry and flavorless. $21 for a sandwich and a can of soda. Better be good for that price and it wasn't. Needless to say i won't be back.

Called and asked- what time do you close? - they said 4pm, we said we will be there soon. Arrived at 2:50pm, the guy who works there said they are closed already. My husband asked- then why did you say 4pm when we called?- the guy said- oh we didn’t have anyone come in so we closed.- Strangest thing I ever heard. Apparently businesses in this part of Orlando can close whenever they want.

I would recommend this place. We stopped to get a bite to eat after walking around the zoo. My kids amd I really enjoyed our food. (Meatball subs and a kids grilled cheese with a side of fries). My husband said the Philly cheese steak was good but could have had a bit more flavor. The people there are really nice, the wait time for food was reasonable, dining area was clean. It's a small place so it's easy for it to get a little loud. Not horrible though. All in all I really enjoyed this place.

TBH it was just okay.. if you're in the area stop by.

I asked for a pizza cheese steak sub with bacon and no onions. It was incredibly awesome that they honored my request of no onions. Thank you! Then, I didn’t get pizza sauce or cheese on my sub. No Cheese or sauce on a pizza cheese steak, weak!!!! I paid $5 for bacon, you could have put cheese and sauce on my dad gum $20 sub!!!! There was a huge amount of steak on there, although, it seems like they were probably just about to toss the rest of it into the trash because it was drier than Death Valley with less flavor than sand. I stopped going to the orange city location because of the downward spiral of quality. I’m not going to Orlando to be disappointed, I’ll just find a better place to go.. like Jersey Mikes. Three decades of my family going to their establishments only to go to a chain sub shack. Pathetic and extremely sad! The lady at the counter did an awesome job, she gets 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It’s not her fault that the place she works for sucks now. It makes me truly sad that I would rather go to a chain store than a mom n pop place but here we are. Deuces ✌️

As a South Jersey transplant, this place has the closest thing to a good Philly cheesesteak I've had in Florida.

Asked the employee of the jalapenos were fresh or pickled, she said fresh. I got my cheesesteak and it was overloaded with pickled jalapeños. The sandwich itself had no flavor, outside of the jalapenos. I wasn't able to taste any of the cheese and the meat was flavorless. Definitely disappointing. They were fast and friendly.

The cheesesteak is the best around. The sandwich is always filled with plenty of goodness.

Horrible service "Everytime" I come in. Today I waited in line for 10 minutes then another 30 minutes for a Salad, all other customers were served and the after I spoke up my order was just being prepared. I noticed how others even folks that ordered large orders after me where served. When I made a clear observation of what's really going on I was met with "We're really busy" and. I politely replied that I waited just like everyone else so why is my orders always forgotten about or made last.....things that make u go hmmmm. Let's just say that I will not order or deliver orders from them ever again!! To my folks of color do not order or eat here your not treated with the same respect as others plus your food will come with a side of sweat.

Cheese steaks was good nothing mind blowing but a solid cheese steak the bread had a little crisp to it. The fries were not good looks like they were just setting in a fry basket over the fryer were soggy and a small portion for the price. Was hot in there they had a big dusty fan blowing to cool the place down.

Sophie was so kind and helpful. She was very educated on the menu and all of the items. You can tell she really loves working here she has absolutely excellent customer service! She is the best!!! 💗
-
Food was okay but the service lacking the guys behind the counter using fowl language while children were in the restaurant.

I am the foremost expert on real Philly steak sandwichs and is the real deal!
-
Super high quality, amazing tasting cheesesteaks. Recommend extra cheese to really make the sandwich pop
-
Best cheesesteak I've had in Florida! The 12" is plenty to feed two people. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Cashier and cooks are friendly and polite. Can't wait to come back and try some cold hoagies.

Rude staff

Im from Fort Lauderdale so it was greqt to have a piece of home again. Just like a remember it as a kid. The bread is different as to be expected but awesome all the same.

Today I decided to get la spadas for the first time in Sanford. I have been seeing videos on social media advertising how great the philly cheese steaks are at this location. After spending 23 dollars on a 8inch Philly meals with fry's. The food was super greasy with no flavor at all. When we asked for a refund because the food was inedible the cook gave us attitude and then proceeded to say "the only two jerk offs that don't like the food. I have never been talk to like this in my entire life. We had no attitude asking for our money back because we never do that. I will never come back here again and will encourage anybody to go to Walmart and make steakems before even thinking about wasting your money on this bland garbage. Ps the cook has bad hygiene and does not wear a beard net.
-
Best Philly cheesesteak made hot and fresh just the way you like it. The portions of meat are very generous and I also enjoy the sweet potato fries. Lunch gets pretty busy so seating is limited. Always welcoming and friendly service.
-
I like how I come and I asked for my order they say it’s still working and tell me they’ll call it when it’s ready It on the shelf and I waited an additional 10 minutes trying to be nice because they’re busy, but my food is completely ready and getting cold and soggy while they’re making other people’s food Name, even though I’m sitting there waiting for my order for a prolonged amount of time unnecessarily
