This is the BEST seafood place ever. The shrimp cocktail is Devine and huge. The red velvet cheesecake is fabulous!. I'm having the lobster mac and cheese and my son is having the BYOB Burger! Definitely great food for a very reasonable price!!! Plus you get a great view.

My wife and mother in law took me to this restaurant for the first time as a Father's Day Dinner. It is what one should expect from a cozy restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and a great beautiful view of the lake.

Noisy but the food was delicious

Justin was awesome, good Midwest dude that understood what we needed. Would recommend to everyone.

The restaurant and location are just beautiful! We had a front row seat to a really spectacular sunset! The food and service were not as spectacular. The calamari was just ok, if it weren’t for the dipping sauce, I would’ve sent it back. The ranch dressing was pretty good, along with the Mac & cheese. The steak and lobster were the best parts but the “drawn” butter resembled greasy movie theater butter. Yuck! As far as the service goes, once we ordered our food no one checked on us or asked to refill our drinks. I mentioned water as someone walked by and they heard so we at least had water since our wine & beer were empty. Same thing after the food was dropped off. No follow up, nothing. This was our first time so we’ll give it another chance and hopefully have a better experience.

I had an outstanding experience at St. Johns River Steak & Seafood, and a big part of that was our hostess, Kendice and also my server, Jessica . From the moment i walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. She was friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly, even while the restaurant was busy. Her positive attitude and exceptional customer service set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. Kendice is truly an asset to the restaurant, and I look forward to coming back because of the hospitality she provided. Thank you, Kendice, for making my visit so enjoyable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am a New England clam chowder connoisseur and this was one of the best I've ever had. I've had a lifetime Hobby of sampling it wherever I go which is everywhere from New Orleans to Boston even other countries. This one was extraordinary, I'm not sure why but I plan to go back and try it again to discover its Secret. Everything here was good including our server Justin

I had dinner at St Johns River Steak & Seafood and really enjoyed the experience. I ordered a seafood platter, and everything tasted fresh and was cooked just right. The service was friendly, and our server made sure our drinks stayed filled without making us feel rushed. The atmosphere was relaxed and made it easy to enjoy the meal with family. I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu next time.

My family and I stopped in here as our last restaurant experience while visiting Florida. The menu online looked impressive with reasonable pricing, and the kids really wanted to try alligator. We dined at a table right near the water, and it provided a beautiful view. Justin was our waiter, and was very attentive, very polite, and went our of his way to connect with us on a personal level by actually having a real conversation with us, asking about our stay in Florida and what we did. We ended up ordering the Gatorade bites, grouper bites, fried calamari, boom boom shrimp, stuffed grouper, tomahawk steak and soft shell crab. The food came our super quick. Everything that was fried was lightly battered, and you could tell it was made with fresh oil. The tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly, and everything tasted amazing. Justin continued being attentive by checking on our drinks and ensuring we had everything that we needed. If we are anywhere near this location the next time we travel to Florida, this will be a must stop destination for my family and I.

I'd reserve a table come to find out it was the worse table right at the end between everyone coming and going order the cat fish extra crispy it was barley cooked raw inside we ordered appetizer and 3 full course dinners the appetizer was great artichoke spinach dip. Our waitress avoided us except to bring us a bill was there at 2;00 pm to avoid a crowd . The strawberry margaritas horrible little bit strawberry syrup no tequila or watered down this was on father's day spent allot of money on meals not eaten was very disappointed I won't be returning nor anyone eles in my party poor management.

Food was quite good. Service was terrible. Had 3 previous bad experiences but decided to give it another try. Done! Won't go back again and will never recommend.

We were staying locally while traveling through the area and this restaurant was within walking distance so we decided to give it a try. It was amazing! I loved the atmosphere and how everyone works together- you don't have just one waiter/waitress! We were only in the area for 2 days, and this ended up being our dinner spot for both nights!! We will definitely be back if were ever in the area. Highly recommend the crabcakes, mac & cheese and sweet potato fries!!

Amazing food and atmosphere.
-
The food was delicious, the portions were great, the staff were so kind and my only regret is not saving room for desert there were so many amazing options. I look forward to returning with my family thanks for a great dining experience. Oh before I forget ask for a seat facing the river.

RYAN & THE REST OF THE STAFF WERE VERY PLEASANT COURTEOUS & PROFESSIONAL !!!!! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY !!!!!!

We went for dinner. Although the view of the lake was beautiful, the food was not very good. We had spinach artichoke dip (2*), Cajun Alfredo pasta (3*), crab cake (4*), mac and cheese (2*), and salmon that tasted like soap (1*). Service was ok, not great. We would probably go back for a beer and and an app because the view is so nice, but we wouldn't have another meal there.

First time for me here at St John's River Steak and Seafood. Lovely place and the dining room looks out over the water so very peaceful views. Katie, one of our servers greeted us immediately and got us started with drinks and appetizers. We ordered the special spicy mango margarita and a classic lime margarita. The margaritas arrived quickly and the spicy mango was delicious! Mango with shaved ice and some pickled jalapeños and carrots. Tahini on the rim added to the wonderful flavor. Cant beat a classic lime margarita on the rocks, cool and refreshing on a warm day. We split a crab cake appetizer with house made remolade. Just one crab cake but big enough to split. Cooked perfectly and crab very fresh. Sauce was great as well. Server Justin took our meal order. We opted to split the fresh 2 lb. Snapper special. Choice of blackened, fried or baked. We choose baked and he advised baked takes a little longer but we were in no rush. The snapper arrived with mixed vegetables as our side. Snapper was perfectly done, falling off the bone, tender and flavorful. The fish was so fresh, delicious and didn't require any additional sauce or seasoning. Mixed tender crisp veggies; squash, zucchini and broccoli were a wonderful complement to the amazing snapper! Afterwards, Sarah stopped by to check on us and brought a lovely slice of Key Lime Pie for our dessert. It was perfectly tart and a fabulous finish for a delectable late lunch! Amazing food, great service and friendly staff make…

The view of the water was enjoyable but the food is the star here. The fish and chips is the best we've ever had. So crispy and flavorful and with the sidewinder fries enough that we had some leftover for the next day. The service was stellar also.

This may be the best restaurant I have ever been to. Food was AMAZING. Cooked to perfection. Great portion size — not too small. Enjoyably interesting atmosphere and service!!!
