So I understand going to a restaurant right before closing is rude. But going to a restaurant 33 min before they close and getting denied service because they close at 8! And we were there at 7:27 it’s absurd! I understand it’s Sunday but this is slow season, you would think they would love the business. Also we pulled up on the boat so it’s not like we can just go anywhere else!

Great meal & great service! By far our favorite place to eat! We've never had a bad meal or service.

  • June 23, 2026

Love the Wed special and always clean good staff and seems to be a local favorite.

Awesome food. Oyster Po Boy was not on menu but the chef did one for me. Sooo good. Just like New Orleans. Our waitress was fantastic. I would go there once a week for sure if I lived there but alas I live in Fort Worth, Texas. (Pecan Plantation). Oysters were fried to perfection.

Great seafood! My daughter in law and I shared the crabby boil. It was so good. This bind and spin shafted this peel and eat shrimp. They were a bit over cooked but the seasoning was on point with the old bay. We all shared the fried claws for an appetizer. They were fantastic. Light and crisp served with tartar sauce. We also had the raw oysters, from Virginia, i think. Superb. We had drinks, margarita for me, beers for the boys and some Hendricks gin concoction for daughter in law. The margarita was really good. We will definitely go back!

Wow. We came on Father’s Day with a recommendation from a bartender named Sam in Mt. Dora. She said we would like it. We had the chargrilled oysters (steamer was down-recommended this way) ok, let’s give it a try. Well so delicious! They had a melted cheese on them and now that is the only way I want to eat them. Then there was a special on crab legs, a basket with corn and potatoes along w 2lbs of crab legs. First time ever I said I couldn’t finish my crab legs. I was so full and everything was just perfect. We live in Orlando and cannot wait to bring our teenage daughter next time. It’s worth the drive. On the water-hard to see but I still get the vibe of being near the water. April. Thanks for the great service and all the info on specials and suggesting the grilled oysters. We will be back!!

Very over cooked dinner. Also peel and eat I just have a hard time scraping out the “veins “ to eat.

  • June 12, 2026

From beginning to the end all was great. We loved our waitress Sheila.

  • June 9, 2026

We ordered 6 raw oysters and they gave us 7. These oysters were so fresh and delicious! The shucker also picked out a couple of pearls and gave them to me. 10 out of 10. I will drive the 2.5 hours from my house to go there just to eat. The staff was attentive and friendly! Overall fantastic experience!

I would give them a -10 if that was an option absolutely horrible. Took 40 minutes to get half a pound appeal eat shrimp and then they came out completely overcooked couldn’t even open them needed a knife. Overpriced never go back

We were mostly drawn in by the good reviews and large variety of foods on their menu (we had a big group and lots of preferences/special diets to consider)... but then we liked it so much, we went back the next night. The hostess and servers were friendly and accomodating to our bigger group both nights. It was busy, but not packed, so we were able to sit immediately (but would have waited if needed). In regard to the food, I cannot say enough good things. The chargrilled oysters were amazing, and we got them both nights. We would also definitely order any of the other items we sampled again, including the Truffle Lobster Mac (heavy but so, so good), Blackened Shrimp Skewers, Bang Bang Shrimp (the breading was perfect), and Snow Crab Leg Boil. Others in our group also loved the Cajun Steak Bites, blackened red fish, and jerk chicken quesadillas. Essentially I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu.

I should have taken heed to the reviews regarding the mahi mahi. I ordered the mahi mahi sandwich and cheesesticks to go. Instead of a sandwich, I was given very BLAND mahi mahi with fries. Fries were good though. However, the cheesesticks were exceptionally greasy and undercooked. A sheer waste of $34! Never will I dine or order from here again!!

The last couple of times that I was here. The food was not up to parr. I don't know what is going on with this restaurant but I hope they get it together soon. Obviously they have a kitchen issue.

  • May 29, 2026

I ordered muscles a ribeye, crab lags. It was all great even my server. Her name was Renee.

  • May 28, 2026

Never disappoints... my Go to for Seafood 👍

  • May 23, 2026

The food was amazing and plentiful. April was awesome and kept the diet coke coming. The peel and eat shrimp, Saturday special 11.99 was spot on and too much to eat a one time

  • May 22, 2026

The food here was amazing. The service was a little slow. The mosquito population at the front door was a lot.

  • May 22, 2026

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. The staff is great and the food is amazing but... I went to this restaurant this past week because I was craving the shrimp and grits, which is the best I have ever had (even better than every New Orleans restaurants I have been to) and it was a little bit late. We checked the time for close and it said 9pm. We got there at 8:30 and were turned away because the kitchen was closed. It is very disappointing when the advertised closing time is only a suggestion and I say this as a previous restaurant cook and server. I love the food but disappointed in the policies that say they can close whenever they want to. If you want business you can't turn it away.

Went Saturday during an event. Got seated immediately. Waited on right away. Food came out delicious!

  • May 16, 2026

The food was pretty good I had the Mahi it needed a little more spice or something it seemed a little bland. Outdoor dining was great.

UPDATE: So, came back again today and I had, HAD, to give this place 5 stars! Came with a friend today and OMG, the food was off the hook today and so was the service! I got the burger again which, I got pictures this time (YAY me! LOL) and it was super fantastic, again! Though, I pressed down on the top of it so, don't let the looks deceive you, it was so tasty! The stars of the show today; however, was the Blackened Chicken Risotto and the Waffle Fries. My friend let me have a taste of hers and great Googa Mooga, I wish I had ordered it! Chef Ramsey would give a standing ovation on this risotto! Very flavorful, cooked to perfection and the portion size? HUGE! She had to take the rest home! Nice big pieces of chicken it was delicious! The waffle fries, I don't know how they do it but, they were so light and super crispy! The waffle fries come with a butter mixture that has cinnamon and sugar in too! I died and went to heaven today! Staff was, as the last time, AWESOME! They make you feel like family when you come in and they don't hover over you, but you are well taken care of. The weather was perfect today, super sunny day, had my awesome friend with me and a great meal! Perfect day and my new favorite place! Original Post: Recently came here for lunch with a co-worker as we both had never eaten here. We were not disappointed by our visit! NOTE: only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of pricing. It is on the higher side. We started off with the cheese sticks…
