The trajectory matters more than the average on this listing. When front-of-house comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 2.1.
The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (9 of 18). Of the 18 rated reviews, 10 sit at four stars or better and 6 at two or below.
The inspection lands in between as well: DBPR graded this kitchen a B (88/100), citing 1 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 1 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was May 6, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 37% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited food from approved source and handwash sinks accessible.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Awesome services and even better food. 2 thumbs up. 👍

This place is always kind of busy and a little overwhelming but in a predictable way. The menu is huge, like actually hard to decide. I went with the chicken madeira, factory burrito grande, and of course a slice of cheesecake because skipping that feels wrong. The chicken madeira was rich with mushrooms and sauce that feels heavier than expected but still good. The burrito was big and messy in a way that makes you pause halfway through. Cheesecake at the end is really the reason you’re here, smooth and sweet and kind of heavy but worth it. It’s not a quiet dinner spot, more like a comfort food place where you just settle in and eat too much without thinking about it.

06/27/26 Winter Park, FL My South American GF and I have frequented this reputable chain several times. While one chooses their favorite restaurant because of their food offerings; everyone realizes SERVICE is most important. CHEESE CAKE, Winter Park, FL --- TREVOR, the GM here --- is a true CLASS ACT with vigor, personality and knowledge. Everyone realizes the typical GM who know only 'ONE THING' ...that is delegating everything to their staff. TREVOR is not afraid to get his 'hands dirty' by always assisting the servers. He is surely not a 'PRIMA DONNA' commonly prevalent at 5 Star Michelin Restaurants. Having worked with many experienced Professionals--- TREVOR We were fortunate to get MADELLINE...a highly skilled and efficient Server. She is knowledgeable, quick on her feet and understands CUSTOMER CENTRIC SERVICE. NOTE to CHEESE-CAKE MANAGEMENT...as myself being a Business Consultant...TREVOR's work Ethic and Loyalty is unquestionable. > It would be advisable to place this GENTLEMAN in your confidential list of CANDIDATES to manage other Restaurant Properties. > Intelligent MADELLINE: Having the position of a Server at Cheese Cale Factory means one is very competent---knowing their extensive menu is like taking a college rigorous course. > Fortune Magazine has their annual rating's list of the top 100 Companies to work for. Cheese-Cake Factory is a perennial winner in this category.

I visited The Cheesecake Factory and was disappointed with both the service and the way my concerns were handled. My server, Caitlin, was unwelcoming and appeared uninterested from the beginning of my visit. I ordered the dinner portion of the new pasta dish, but when it arrived, it appeared to be a lunch-sized portion rather than a dinner portion. I explained that I was not willing to pay for what looked like a lunch portion and stated that if a dinner portion was unavailable, I no longer wanted the dish. I then changed my order to the Shepherd's Pie. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it also appeared to be a lunch-sized portion. By this point, we had already spoken with a manager, who was somewhat helpful but did not seem particularly concerned about resolving the issue. As an attempt to remedy the situation, my friend was given a side portion of the pasta. However, when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the Shepherd's Pie portion, I was told that I should have shown it to the server before placing it in a to-go box so that accommodations could have been made. The only resolution offered to me was a complimentary cheesecake. I do not eat cheesecake and only visit the restaurant for the food, so this did not address my concerns. My disappointment was not only with the food portions but also with the lack of attentiveness, concern, and customer service shown throughout the experience. I expected much better from a restaurant with The Cheesecake Factory's reputation

One of my favorite places for lunch during the week, great staff, so many delicious entrees and it’s mellow enough to have good conversation with friends.
-
There is absolutely nothing on the menu that I wouldn’t order again.
-
This time our order wasn't as tasty as usual. Seems quality is going downhill.

Waiter handed me food on a plate so hot I had to tell her to take it back, I was about to drop it. Also handed to me from across the other side of the table over my kid. So now I'm holding a hot plate right over my kid. Talked to manager. He seemed like he could care less, just that he will talk with her. Didn't even ask if I was ok. What a joke! 6/18/26

Cheesecake is definitely not like it used to be. The quality of the food has gone down. When I ate the Tex mex egg rolls I bit into something hard and it actually chipped my tooth! We found similar hard rock type pieces in the my Dads tex mex egg roll meal and the chicken quesadilla. Our guess is the pieces were from food cooked on the grill and left there so long that it turns into a rock type piece. Very dangerous! We brought this to the attention of the waiter and then the manager Zach showing the hard pieces as evidence. They gave us a refund on those three meals and we filed a complaint/incident report. We were contacted by the Cheesecake factor liability specialist and she found from her investigation that there was no evidence of a foreign object in the meals and the food was not cooked improperly. This is totally nonsense, we had the evidence of the food being so hard that it was solidified into rock hard pieces. Watch out for the food there as they are not cooking it properly. Now I have dental bills to face with my tooth! We will not be eating there again and be warned! You don’t serve food that is so hard that it turns into a rock! That is not proper food preparation! Watch out for the tex mex egg rolls, chicken quesadilla and any other food they cook! They are also not caring about their customers nor caring about the process in which they serve food as we had the evidence to prove improper food handling.

I had a great time with my family at this restaurant, we ordered the spicy jambalaya arancini bites and for our main meal we had the bowls , however, the young man with the black curly hair was incredibly rude to us, he referred to us in a very impolite manner.
