Overall a good hotel. Don't plan on there being a microwave in the room or on the property. They now have AndroidTV but it's extremely slow and can't connect to anything.

They were friendly and hard working. Rooms for our group weren't ready on time, but property is well kept and clean.

Booked a reservation at 2:45 a.m. and arrived at approximately 3:00 a.m. It is now 3:36 a.m., and we are still sitting in an empty lobby waiting to be checked in. Customer service told us someone would be available 24 hours a day, but no one has shown up. This has been a very frustrating experience, especially after confirming that the front desk would be staffed. We left at 3:54am and still no sign of anyone.

If you’re expecting a brand-new resort, this probably isn’t the place for you. This hotel was built in 1975, and it definitely shows its age. That said, for around $60 a night in Daytona with no incidental deposit, it’s hard to complain. Our room was clean, and while the property is older, you can tell the owners are putting effort into updating and modernizing it. Is it perfect? No. But it’s also not the horror story some reviews make it out to be. The pool is one of the highlights—it’s huge and would be perfect for families. The complimentary breakfast was also better than I expected, with a good selection to start the day. At the end of the day, you have to consider what you’re paying. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Daytona and understand you’re booking a budget-friendly hotel, this property offers good value for the price. Manage your expectations, and you’ll likely have a pleasant stay.

The last day we were there the roof started leaking above the bathtub. That's my only complaint though. They have a very nice outdoor pool. Breakfast wasn't bad but it was the same things every day which got kind of boring after a week of eating it.

staff and managers who work at this hotel should all be fired. they should be criminally prosecuted actually. i spent a week at this hotel last month and they kicked me out after a week; didn't do anything wrong. didn't have guests over or make any loud noise. i just complained there was NO BREAKFAST, NO FOOD at all on a sunday. they don't care (front desk folks). at 930 on sunday the cooks all left and walked out; breakfast closes at 10 am. disabled people were waiting for food, nobody got any. lots of trashy folks come here on the weekends too; steal food, take 10 pieces of bread and go upstairs - hotel should have portion control limits on food - swimming pool here was amazing but front desk staff are rude, mean and don't want to do their job. no AC in the gym, heads up. they don't give a damn either; they want you to sweat and dehydrate; no comfort in the gym here, expect to work out in 120 degree gym; no fan, no AC in the gym. they threatened to call the police on me last day, i tried to extend. the oversized lady who works at the front desk, be cautious with her; pretends to be nice but will kick you out and not think twice - will be reporting this incident to best western management after this review - hotel manager needs to be fired - front desk staff are cruel, all need to be fired - 2nd floor maid is also lazy , they don't want to clean your room - they say they're coming , they never show up - hotel staff PRIDES themselves with being a 2 star hotel; refuses to fix…

I always stay here I just love the continental breakfast I like Sema & Mr Richard was so pleasant he even helped me boost my car when it wouldn't start so I can head back to Jacksonville. I didn't see one bug, also it's just always clean. The bed was soft and comfortable the pillows were fresh and everything was just comfortable. And 0the pool is always nice and comfortable I really love it here. I really haven't stayed any other place but here in the last 4 years I am excited to go back in November I can't wait and thank you Seema and Richard and everyone especially the breakfast crew they always make the food delicious and hots

So me And my wife left the hotel at 5am that morning we stayed away just enjoying our day and when we returned at around 5pm we couldn't get into the room. Once we investigated we find out that the staff had EMPTIED THE ENTIRE ROOM! all of our belongings were gone. We go to the front desk to figure out what had happened and not only were staff rude they weren't willing to really help and tried to place blame on us. Once we got back into the room the staff handed us trash bags with some of our belongings that had been sitting all day and food items had went rotten. In the end we had to trash everything because it had been destroyed and completely left and forgotten about. We had things that were missing such as food items, chargers, perfume. Me and my wife asked for names of employees, the manager on duty (we were told he would not return until Monday), and we asked for corporate information and were told "GOOGLE IT"! We get in the room and check everything out and 2 out of 4 of the pillows were covered in mold. This entire trip was a complete headache and just uncalled for. The way we were treated in your establishment is UNETHICAL, TACKY, AND UNEXCUSABLE! I'm emailing you today to get some kind of resolution.

The room smell like smoke. There were issues with the access cards. The exit door close to the room no re-entry, the access reader is disabled. The TV did not work for our family members room, so they had to get another room. The ice maker close to the room did not work. The sink was stopped up and the lighting could have been better

If I could give them zero stars I would. Do not stay here, you will regret it. The pictures are nothing like the actual place. We should have never checked in after walking into the lobby. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. We have pictures of how disgusting our room was, the place smelled, outside doors were propped open, no safety. Faucet dripped all night, cockroach on bathroom floor, hair on bathroom floor, stains on carpet. Just gross!!! We asked to check out and they said they could not refund and we would forfeit our money. No customer service at all. Horrible place. Corporate is no help either. DO NOT STAY AT BEST WESTERNS.

I was just here for five days for a work trip. The breakfast was decent and I like that it goes from 0630 to 1000. The pool also appeared quite nice. However if you are needing a hotel for business purposes or more than just a couple days, I would look elsewhere. The internet was awful and would drop my zoom calls and take five minutes to load one page. There also isn't a microwave anywhere on the premises for guests to use, so you have no way to heat up your food. I have traveled for work for 2 years and this is the first hotel I've stayed at that did not at least have a microwave available in the lobby (if not in the actual room). I asked the front desk and was told their previous one broke and it was never replaced. I spent 175/night to stay here and somehow they can't afford a $50 microwave. You do have a mini fridge in your room but then have to eat all your food cold. So I spent more money on food than I was hoping for since I didn't want to eat my meals cold. Not the best hotel for business or long term purposes.

Disgusting hotel. Shower head was brokern. No hot water for three days either. Bed bugs. Trash from old guests on the bed!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Freezing cold showers with mold on the ceiling. Close to the speedway-within walking distance but the rooms were muggy and gross.

Booked for 3 nights- No hot water after the first night. Reported it several times. On third night, desk clerk acted like they had no idea. I reported it to that clerk the night before! Cleaning staff was spectacular and so helpful, But desk clerks had no customer service skills AT ALL. Do not recommend at all! We had planned on rebooking for next year because the location was so ideal. we will NOT.

This was a last minute stay just to rest for the night. The guy at the front desk was super nice & was helpful with all of our questions, however the room was in bad shape. Our door was broke so my husband had to lift it to close it. The carpet was gross looking with huge stains all in it, I would not dare walk barefoot. The bathtub was gross & had a huge crack in it but the bed was clean & very comfortable.

I’ve previously stayed at this hotel a few years ago and I have to say I had a very disappointing experience this time. The room was not clean and appeared to be poorly maintained. The carpet was heavily stained and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was a strong mildew smell throughout the room that made it uncomfortable to stay in. The TV did not work and was frozen on the startup screen the entire time. Also don’t expect a microwave to heat up your food if needed cause there isn’t one. The bathroom was in extremely poor condition. It’s clearly never been properly cleaned. A little bit of bleach would do it a lot of good. The sink was gross, the counters were dirty, the tub had peeling paint and stains. As if the appearance wasn’t bad enough there were German cockroaches present in both the room and the bathroom. We noticed the bugs multiple times, they were not shy to make their appearance during our stay. Overall, I felt uncomfortable touching anything in the room and will not be visiting this hotel again any time soon.

We stayed here on our way to a cruise. The lobby area looks nice enough but there was a strong cleaning fluid smell. Maybe something had happened or maybe not. We arrived about 9 PM and the woman staffing the check in desk was not very polite or interested. No overtly rude, just uncaring. She spoke very broken English and was very hard to understand. Meanwhile, the desk phone was ringing most of the time and she would pick it up then hang it back up. I don't know who was calling but I would be upset if that happened. I requested some extra pillows and she said she would look and send some. She never sent any nor otherwise responded. ||The hallway had mixed odors. Cleaning fluid combined with tobacco and marijuana. It was strong in some places. The room was large but sparsely furnished. There was a lack of plugs near things and the bed was very stiff (if you like hard mattresses, you would like it). The bathroom seemed very small and the shower water pressure was not good. ||My wife found out in the morning that the hair dryer was not working. She called the front desk and was told someone would bring another one. After waiting a long while, she walked to the front desk where 2 women working the desk were just chatting and ignored her. She finally got their attention and they started arguing whether or not there were spare hair dryers. My wife pointed to one sitting behind the counter in plain sight and they reluctantly handed it to her. No apology or remorse about the way…
