CHI KIN
CHI KIN is a 4.5-star room with an F-grade kitchen — the kind of gap a star rating will never warn you about, which is the whole reason this page exists.
That F comes from 3 high-priority and 7 basic violations cited on January 13, 2026. It currently ranks safer than 2% of Orange County restaurants we grade — close to the bottom of the county. And the direction isn't reassuring: its recent inspections have been sliding, not recovering. If you want the flavor with fewer question marks, the safer-options list below maps higher-graded kitchens within a short drive.

People either love this place or they do not, and the ratings show it. How guests are treated tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.4 stars. After that, how food arrives appears most often — 36% of the corpus, averaging 2.6.
Portion size shows up in 20% of reviews as well, averaging 4.2. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 17 of the 25 reviewers who rated. The split is 18 positive to 6 negative across 25 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle.
Set against that, the state's own inspection graded the kitchen an F (54/100), with 3 high-priority and 7 basic violations recorded. Reviews describe the meal; the grade describes the conditions it was made in. That inspection was on January 13, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 2% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were food from approved source and cross-contamination.
Both halves of this page point the same unflattering way, which at least makes it simple. Everything above is computed from the 25 reviews reproduced below.

We ordered a family combo wings WITH soy garlic sauce and addition garlic sauces on the side to be delivered and we received ZERO sauce. Nothing ON the wings or tenders and nothing even given on the side. The ticket itself says exactly so and we have nothing but dry wings and tenders. This is UNACCEPTABLE especially since this was delivered to us and we are quite a few miles away to just drive by and get them. Very inconvenient because we didn’t get what we wanted at all but some dry wings. $40 dollars of unenjoyable food because we received NO SAUCES ON OUR FOOD. We complained on Uber Eats and they gave us $2.00 off!

I've been going since it's soft opening, went through the side chic phase and still standing strong lol. Great service and the best bulgogi burrito period on the east coast!! Chipotle and chic fil A; with a dope korean fusion flip on crack. Enjoy.
-
The chicken was pretty good, but i think ill get their sauce on the side to keep it crisp. I called in a Togo order and was put on hold. I drove there, ordered, left, ate finished the Spain Saudi Arabia game. And I am still on hold over an hour later. I wish restaursnts would stop deciding phones are obsolete.

Great vegan sammie with the best waffle fries!
-
Love this place! Friendly staff and he always gets our order right. Like he memorized it. So friendly!! Korean Chicken is the best!! Their fries basket is 💯
-
This place is absolutely incredible. Chick Fil A who? KFC what? I don't know them. Chi-Kin has THE BEST chicken sandwich hands down. My partner loves their wings, and we fight over the bulgogi fries. I cannot give this place enough stars!!!

Went in on a Tuesday night with husband and 2 kids. We had the family platter with fried rice and the nachos with shrimp and carne asada. Everything was delicious! Large portions. All of the sauces were amazing. Ate too quickly for photos. This was not our first visit and every time we go everyone is so friendly. We will definitely be back!

The place has a bad odor smell. It made me nauseous and I left before I could order.
-
Supper disappointed. I have heard the quality of the chicken had gone downhill but I decided to still try it out. The chicken wings are no longer crispy and the sauces do not taste the same. I don’t know if you guys fired your cooks or what but I’m extremely disappointed! This is not the Korean chicken I’ve had for years!

First time to come here—TOP notch chicken wings!! Bulgogi beef bowl was just okay but we WILL return for the wings; double fried, crunch-filled, juicy, savory, sweet—and spicy. SO GOOD. Excellent customer service from Johan (host) and Rudy, our amazing server. Go and try these wings soon. Cluck YEAH !!

Maybe I got a bad batch? But then why was I served it, instead of it being trashed? I remember when this was some of the best fried chicken in Orlando. So for one, the portion sizes are less than half what they were a few days ago. They come in a much smaller box now. They also used to give extra tenders of any were small. ie order a 4 piece, and you'd get 4 since not all were so big. My 6 piece wound up being 4 of those smaller sized ones plus 2 tiny ones. The chicken was dry, despite appearing undercooked outside. The batter had no flavor, when it used to be so good that you don't need sauce. The sauces weren't good, when they used to be incredible. I'm confused really, since mine looks nothing like the pictures on their site and other recent reviews. But why was I served this if it's different from what they usually serve, or did they just change it?

All the food we got was yummy! Fries are delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Love this food! I remember the first time I saw the menu and I thought "3 tenders? That's not enough" so I ordered 6 and I couldn't finish it lol. The tenders are huge - like chicken breasts - and the sauce flavors are yummy. I tend to always get the sweet soy and the yuzu lemon pepper 🔥 Our amazing server (sorry I didn't catch her name) mentioned to us that the Mexican fusion dishes came out about a year ago. We also ordered the Gochugaru Nachos 🔥 another large portion and surprisingly very good. Thank you Chi-kin! You guys are so yummy.

The food was delicious and more then enough. And The server Rudy was the best ever. Came from Georgia but we will be back.

Chi-Kin has some of the best wings around! The wings were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crisp. The service was also excellent—friendly, fast, and welcoming from start to finish. Definitely a great spot to grab wings, and I’ll be coming back again!
-
Good selection of wings and chicken fingers as well as rice bowls and combo meals which include drinks. Portions were good and the food was hot. Ordered 3pc with upgraded beef bulgogi fries which were delicious. Staff was friendly and food was delivered timely!
-
Korean chicken places like this are amazing! The sauces are great - get a bowl, Sammie, or the tenders/wings by themselves. Erica made my first visit amazing. She is serving hospitality

Absolute banger i been there like 6 times in a month 🤌🏼

Nice casual dinning with good unique flavors.

The food was ok. Don’t expect good customer service because everything is automated except when they being the food out. That’s just the way the world is headed in cutting service jobs. The wings were fried good. The wings were too similar in taste. The hot honey wasn’t hot at all it was similar to the soy wings(sweet/tangy). The kimchi fries barely had an kimchi on it and the fries didn’t have any sauce on them as seen on the advertisement. We had to search in the corner of the fire bowl for sauce so we don’t be eating Dey’s fries. The fries were crispy and cooked well. Decent food we just will not be returning due to the meagerness of sauce and kimchi in fries that advertise something different.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience overall. On the positive side, the servers were very friendly, and we were seated quickly, which made a great first impression. The food also came out fast, which I appreciated. However, there were some downsides. A few of the dishes arrived cold, which took away from the overall enjoyment. The chicken tenders, in particular, were a bit of an acquired taste. In my opinion, the lemongrass or rosemary flavor was too overpowering and masked the natural taste of the chicken. Additionally, the flavor lingered quite a bit, which ended up affecting the taste of the other food I ate afterward, and that was not appreciated. On the other hand, the fries were really good—they reminded me of Chick-fil-A’s, which was a highlight.I also liked that the restaurant offers vegan-friendly options, which is a nice touch and makes it more inclusive for different diets. Overall, I’d rate my experience a 6/10. There are definitely some good aspects, but there’s room for improvement.

The service was great. The staff are attentive and fast. The food is not very good. My girlfriend and I got wings and a sammie dipped combo with chicken fries. The food is painfully mediocre for the price and marketing. Being korean fried chicken did not make a noticeable difference in the wings nor sandwich besides the breading being a slightly different texture. The chicken fries are like something you would see at a high school football game. Also our food did not seem fresh. It came out very quickly which is nice, but it was lukewarm and got cold fast which leads me to believe it was not made fresh to order. The first thing you see when you walk in is a big self serve kiosk, but at the same time they want a server to take care of you so they can ask for a tip. It is kind of confusing to me why they have a kiosk if they also want to have servers. As a matter of fact I recommend to just use the kiosk to save some money. My girlfriend and I tried this place because the reviews were really positive. Now I am very confused how people rate this restaurant so highly when I frankly had a disappointing experience.

Shout out to Rudy and John, not 5 seconds later that we walked through those doors we were greeted as always with a smile and unconditional hospitality EVERY restaurant, business should be. They’ve always been like this from day 1, and do not miss a beat. Ive eating in chikin numerous occasions but had yet to try side chik, it was fireeeeee. Amazing, unpretentious mix of mexkorean flavors. I had the burrito, would come back for it over and over again, my wife had the nachos, when they brought out that huge plate of nachos she was like. Uhmmm this is massive I was not expecting this. Portion size are right on point. You can eat half, and save the other for yummy leftovers.

Rudy G is a fire server! He always makes going there welcoming.
